They are known for having unreasonably large watches, mimicking their absurdly high retail prices, manufactured with less than ideal materials, marketed to the lowest common denominator. That isn't to say they wouldn't function as a watch. Plenty of people buy them for that reason. However, Invicta wants the public to imagine them on the same level as a luxury brand when their products are quite the contrary.

If your heart is set on that Invicta, by all means don't let anyone, including myself, to persuade you otherwise. It's your money. There are some within the /r/Watches community that are very happy with their Invicta watches. Some own more than one. But when you ask this particular community as a whole for shopping advice, it will with every effort try to suggest something else.

For instance, here's a Seiko SNDC99 that uses the same quartz module as the SNDE19 I linked to earlier. It's a little more expensive but it's got a sportier look and it's being sold by Amazon proper rather than a third party.

Moving up is this Citizen AT0810-12E with their Eco-Drive technology. It has a diver like bezel, chronograph, tachymeter, date, 100WR. With the black leather, white stitched strap it has both a classical and sporty casual look. It's more than twice the price of the Invicta but ten times a better watch.

This watch and this watch look similar, are both made by Seiko, and will get more respect in /r/Watches. (you can easily swap out the bands for a quality black leather band like the Armani has, this is mine of a similar model, with an aftermarket strap)

As others said, /r/Watches considers Armani a "fashion brand", in that the watches are made to look nice without any care taken into the mechanicals of the watch itself, and often you do end up paying a premium for the brand name.

If you like that watch, go for it, I personally won't hold it against you, but you won't get much love in the watch aficionado community.
