At the very top of your price range you can afford Sennheiser 569s. I've had a pair of 598s for 6 years now that have yet to show a single hint of their age. Sennheiser makes some high quality stuff.

Budget - 100-200 Euro price range

Source - Google Pixel and Desktop Computer

Isolation - Just don't want them to leak to much sound

Preferred type of headphone - Overear. Wired

Past headphone - I've never had headphones before. I don

Preferred music - HipHop, Rnb, and 60s-early80s rock.

Improve - I am looking for something that has low impeadence so I hopefully won't have to use an external amp with but I have heard the pixel's sound output is bad.
If I need to get an external amp/DAC or something to make something 60 or 32 ohms work for the pixel i'll get one.

Country - Ireland

These have been the ones I've been looking at

Hey if you are looking for good headphones I always recommend the Audio Technica ATH m50x's. They have to be the best bang for your buck when it comes to all around sound quality and comfort. I have not found anywhere where there is a sale on those though. How ever because they are such a good price already you can grab them off this link for $179

OR if those dont tickle your fancy here is two really good options from Sennheiser

Hope this helped!!!!!

For working out, i would advise against using an over ear headphone and instead use a cheapo sweat resistant iem instead.

Iirc You would need an amp for these three headphones. If you want to mainly use your headphones with your phone and laptop, i would suggest getting a Sennheiser HD 569 instead.

These are my suggestions

In ear:

Shure SE215(Very neutral sound signature they used to be $200 but is now on sale for $99)

Sennheiser IE60(A warmer relaxing sound signature, you might not get a good seal without third party tips such as comply foam though, but get that and they sound amazing)

I own both of these. I put comply foam tips on all my IEMs, cause that's what's most comfy to my ears

Over ear:

Audio Technica M40x(Cold somewhat neutral sounding over ear)

Sennheiser HD 569(A warmer sound signature but relaxing)

The HD 569s are really comfortable at least to me.

Hello again!
The final candidates i got from all the suggestions are:

HD569-link which are 110eu

Beyerdynamic DT770 Pro 32 Ohm - link which are 117eu

Audio-Technica ATH-MSR7GM - link which are 169eu

Sennheiser HD598CS - link which are 229eu

The starting budget was 100eu, but im willing to go to 200, or even 229 if some of you experts think its worth the additional money.

There is also an option of waiting for black friday and seeing how the sales go, but i would like to be prepared in any case.

Do you maybe have any more suggestions on those headphones?

u/jamwagon · 1 pointr/headphones

Ah I gotcha. In that case, I recommend you just do buy-n-try from Amazon.
Sorry I don't know how far you'd need to schedule or if he'd have anything closed back in stock around your price point. I guess it depends on his schedule. They're a pretty high-end shop.

Here are a few suggestions all at around the same price point:

ATH-M50x https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00HVLUR86

HD 598 Cs https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01JP436TS

HD 569 https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01L1IIF1A
Innerfidelity review of HD 569 (Directly compares to M50x)
https://www.innerfidelity.com/content/sennheiser-hd569-around-ear-sealed-headphones

Honestly, I own the M50x and like them, especially with the Brainwavz pads even though they change the sound a bit. The comfort is worth it.
But, if you were to ask me today, I'd probably go with one of the Senns. I LOVE my HD 598 open-back cans. They are insanely comfortable. The closed back version should be pretty similar. Unfortunately, I can't find any direct head to head reviews of the 598 Cs vs 569, but that's where you demoing comes in.

Also, I'll remind you that Sennheisers usually go on sale at Black Friday and you can probably get one of the two for around $99 so it may be in your best interest to wait a week and see. That way you come in way under budget and can just return to Amazon if you don't like.

Let us know what you end up with and how you like them!

> Another q about my AOPEN 32HC1QUR. Basically, it was flickering at certain points in a game (to be precise, it was wow and some effects were causing it like crafting which was mildly infuriating). So after a bit of googling I ended up changing V-rate range from "blank" to 57 to 144 Hz and said flickering was gone! I was beyond happy.

> I have a Xigmatek Vector S 80+ Silver 750W PSU which I have been using since November 2013. From 2014 September to 2015 November it was used maybe a couple months, and since then 3-4 hours during the day and more heavily during the weekends. I use my PC mainly for browsing, watching movies/tv series and gaming. Only on weekends I play games for long hours. I doubt it was used for more than 500W (never OCd my CPU, used a GTX 680, 970 and at the moment using 2070) during its lifespan, it was never pushed to its max 750W power.
>
> So with all that being said, and considering the date I bought it and that it is a relatively unknown brand, how long can I expect it to last? So far it has served me well, seen 3 GPU and 2 CPU upgrades, no issues no problems, never skipped a beat. No weird sounds, no heating issues as far as I can tell etc. However, with every pc part I'm worried it'll break after a few years and in this case the part being PSU worries me. Could someone make an educated guess into how long can I expect it to last with the information I've given above?

> Computer when turned on now goes to a "bios is updating led firmware" screen for roughly 45 minutes. After installing latest bios lastnight it doesnt boot into windows. It goes to the American megathread page i think it is where my only option is to press f1 to go into bios which when exiting restarts and goes back to 45 bios screen so basically in a loop. Can someone offer some advise. Thanks

> I have a Ryzen 3600 otw and had a MSI B450 Tomahawk ordered as well, but upon hearing all of the issues with flashing BIOS on MSI boards I cancelled my order and ordered a Gigabyte B450 Aorus Pro instead. I stupidly acted too quickly though, as I didn't even check if the board had BIOS flashback, and now I know it doesn't. It does, however, apparently have something called Q-Flash, which I have no experience with. With this being a fresh build, will I still be able to update the BIOS to be able to use my 3600, or do I need to cancel my order again while I still can? Please help me, it has been a very stressful day for me as far as motherboards are concerned. Thanks in advance.
>
> TL;DR - Can I update BIOS on a brand new Gigabyte B450 Aorus Pro Wifi using Q-Flash to make it usable with my Ryzen 3600, or would I need to wait and apply for an AMD Boot Kit or get a different motherboard?
