I would send it back, yes it was a good deal but are you really comfortable by having a cracked panel and warped metal mesh? You could also pick a Sharkoon QB One for £42 sold and shipped by Amazon.co.uk Sharkoon QB One.
I know it's not the same but they're really similar and also a really good price.

Are you in Europe? Got QB One a month ago from German Amazon (https://www.amazon.de/dp/B00TL8VN5I/) which seem to still have plenty in stock, not sure how the shipping works, though.
As for 2600 vs 2700 it is all about those 2 extra cores, since stock cooler works fine for stock clocks and for OC you would probably want something bigger and quieter. So if you do a lot of tasks that will benefit multithreading maybe 60 extra pounds for those 2 cores will be a good investment but 2600 is such a good value atm.

Sharkoon QB One, just under 15 liters, and fits a 240mm AIO on the top. It's not going to break the bank at 40€ either.
