You can't just push a pin out and reinstall the (flipped) chain with the same pin. you need this sort of pin to replace the one you push out of your chain.
The 9 and 10 speed chains are too thin and flexible. If you press a pin out, the hole is slightly stretched. The same pin would not fit as firm as it did before removal. The replacement pins are slightly larger in diameter and have an extra piece that helps/guides it in the chain (after installation this piece has to be snapped of with pliers) for a secure connection.
Go to any bikeshop and ask if you can buy 1 pin separately.
Note: I know a mechanic who says you can use the same pin without any real problem/danger. He does so on older chains that need replacement in a foreseeable future. On relatively new chains he'd use the pin shown in the link.
Edit: You can also just remove the pin, flip the chain and reinstall it with a missing link. Allowing you to open and close your chain without tools in the future. Not that expensive, might be interesting to you. Could be cheaper at a LBS (no shipping etc.)
