I have this 8 inch mattress and cut it day before yesterday. I used a jigsaw, and it was fine, though i recommend using a long bladed serrated knife instead. The electric turkey knives probably would work good. Or a sawzall, thatd probably work the best. I couldnt cut all the way thru cause of the short blade, so i ended up cutting top, then bottom, then ripping it off. It looked ruff where i ripped it off but it wasn't difficult, the layers were fused somehow so it was like 1 piece.
