> Astroglide. You'll never settle for less.

That is one of the worst lubes on the market. Are you new? Does not last, gets tacky, always reapply, and drys sticky.

By far far superior:

It sounds like you have the right attitude and your anhedonia helps you empathize, which is great. Nothing sexual is universal for any group of people, but I think it's pretty common for people in general to use alcohol to "loosen up" sexually. They call it a social lubricant for a reason. I find weed to be much more effective specifically for sex, though.

OH, speaking of lubricant, if she doesn't have any, buy some in case you ever attempt PIV. But be very careful about the ingredients. Propylene glycol in particular burns like a motherfucker for lots of women with pelvic pain. I recommend Slippery Stuff (and so does my pelvic pain doctor): http://www.amazon.com/Slippery-Stuff-Personal-Lubricant-Soluble/dp/B00009Q95R

And if she's into vibrators, it can be fun and really bonding to shop for one together online.

I love Slippery Stuff Water-Based Lube. It lasts a really long time, is very gentle (I have VERY sensitive skin), and it has no flavor. It also is easier to clean up than silicone.

We used to use Sliquid, but I've found that if you have even a tiny little cut somewhere, it burns like the fires of hell.

I hope I'm not too late with this comment, but DO NOT USE OIL ON YOUR TENGA. The Tenga is made of TPR Silicone, which is not at all like actual silicone. TPR Silicone is a rubber-silicone compound. This means, both silicone-based lube and oil-based lube are incompatible with a TPR-based toy. You have to use water-based lube or wait until you can afford some. You can get a large amount of water-based lube for about 20 bucks.

This and this. Condoms and lube are relatable to hammers. Yes, even squeaky ones. How you ask?

Well, there's some really kinky motherfuckers out there, who are suddenly in the mood for some hot, sexy, ANAL PENETRATION! But alas, they're to poor to afford a top-of-the-line Rear Penetration Fucking Machine. :(

So what do they do?? They run down to the nearest hardware store of course! Depending on their mood, they either buy a small Tekton 3016 hammer, or a massive Cold Steel Warhammer. Then they go home, slip a rubber on the hammer of their choice, lube it up nice and slippery, then they slide that big ol hammer right up their poop chute.

And that, my friends, is how condoms and lube are relatable to hammers.

I swear to puppies I'm going to throw a psychotic fit.

Trojan's seem to fit me the best personally.

As far as lube goes, Slippery Stuff is inexpensive and very good for both usual lubing as well as silicone toys and anal. No weird taste or odor, and it's non-glycerin (non allergenic).

It's got a silly name, but consider using Slippery Stuff too. Does a great job and cleans up real nice. Water based, works with condoms, and doesn't have any of the ingredients that irritate some people.

Getting back into the habit of working on progress is rough. Just think of it like exercising, though. You're not taking steps back - you're just prepping the muscles by starting at a slower pace to not over strain your muscles. [but it still freakin' blows getting back to momentum.]

I only use dilators, and switch between olive oil or Slippery Stuff for lubrication. Olive oil feels a little too thin at times, but I like the more natural option. Also a bullet vibrator to help relax before using dilators. Otherwise, no other tools to help out. Some other ladies have mentioned helpful books, hopefully they see your comment and link with the info.

Sorry, I was wrong, we actually use Slippery Stuff. I used to use Liquid Silk, but my boyfriend does a lot of butt play so we needed a large quantity :V Maybe it's time to go back to Liquid Silk.
