They'd be too short sided to be able to effectively push the pieces around and sift through them.
I use these. Super cheap and they work great. For easy storage you could also use the sterilite plastic drawers in like the mini size. You can stack multiple sets together by pulling the white top part off and setting the 2nd set on top to clip it on. Could also use something like this.
