Sofirn SF14 if you just want a simple, bright AA light.
Sofirn SF14. Runs on AA or 14500. About 200 lumens on AA and comes in a cool-ish neutral at maybe 5500k.
If you want bang for the buck, I grabbed myself a few Sofirn sf14 v2.0 and another couple sf10's the wife/kids/around the house.

Sofirn SF14
This is a nice little flashlight, with a rechargeable battery. Its brightest level works very well, but does make the end of the light hot. My only real complaint is taking the battery out to charge it (which I haven't had to do yet).
