I love babywearing, but I have back problems so I can't do it as much as I'd like. A stroller is indispensable for me. For others? Probably not so much. I walk a lot, not completely by choice--I live half a mile from the nearest bus stop. Plan right now is to get this stroller, because it folds nearly as compact as an umbrella stroller but can be used from birth. I've had slightly nicer strollers before, but I don't think I've ever spent more than $150 on one. It's definitely one of those things where you'd be fine going to a consignment shop; I've seen strollers I know to be $300 or more new for sale for under $100.
