you don't need an arduino, you need the motor, a variable frecuency drive, and a gear slider crank mechanism.
please!!! the less power the motor has the better. and you will have to plan the measurements of the crank to be less than half the size of the dildo. and you will have to test it with your hands first, because you don't want to destroy your parts.
edit. a more complicated one could be, instead of a motor to use a servo motor, to use now with an arduino, to program the different movements you want. because the rotary motor will always make the same movements and you will only be able to change the speed.
