V sync is not required when freesync is enabled.

I know people have also had success by changing all the states to the same clock speed in the Radeon settings.

If you can, test different displayport cables. I bought two different ones and this one works well for me:

And here is a reasonably priced DP cable....

Syncwire DisplayPort Cable 2M - [Gold-Plated] DisplayPort to DisplayPort Cable High Speed 4K Resolution DP Cable Supports Fire TV, Apple TV, Ethernet, Audio Return, 2160p, HD 1080p, 3D – Black https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B074CGB5NC/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_F6RyCb6E6BSYT

If you still struggling after reinstall of drivers and the usual routes of trial and error diagnosis....

Open the Windows settings page, go to SYSTEM, on the first page DISPLAY, scroll down to find link to Advanced display settings, left click, on that page, click the link Display Adapter properties for Display 1. Or whichever Display you wish to look at properties for.
A new window opens, at the bottom left, there is a button list all modes
Click it....
A menu list will open of all modes that the monitor has revealed to Windows...
Scroll through the list to find the HD resolution you require...
I.e. 1920 by 1080, True colour (32bit), 240 Hertz. (If it is available at this time!!)

Once you have made your selection from the list, click OK.
The Modes list will close, then click apply in the properties window and the Windows display will change.
A new box will open asking if everything is ok and working and giving you about 15secs to confirm...

If it works and looks ok then confirm and the new setting will remain.

If it doesn't work and you get a blank screen or you fail to confirm in the above mentioned window, then the Display will return to that which was previously set.
So don't worry if the screen is blank, if it doesn't like it and you can't see anything, the timer will count to zero and return your previous settings...

I would highly recommend purchasing one or both of the cables mentioned above in my previous post...
If you do not have the right cable or one that is particularly poor quality or has degraded by being bent, kinked, stretched, chewed by pets or children or has been used for some strange fetish or bondage, then you may suffer continued issues!! 😉😉

So I got it yesterday and I have to say, oh my god... The screen size is huge and the refresh rate is simply amazing! I messed around on a few games to really test the graphics (Fallout 4, Rust etc.). There was very little lag and the gameplay was so smooth. It took me a while to get used to it as I've just transferred away from an 8 year old 24" Samsung 1080p monitor at 60Hz. The bezzle is thin which I really like and the curve, well, the curve just finishes it off for me. I think if you're going to get a curved monitor it needs to be big enough for you to realise. 32"+ or widescreen will do. I even got a gold-plated Display Port v1.4 cable to really push it (I was recently on DVI).

I've got a wall mount arriving today (hopefully) so I can take it off my desk. The only 'con' I would give it is that the stand takes up a lot of room. I was originally going to put it on my wall anyway, but I didn't realise how much desk space it would take up!

Once the mount is up I'll post pictures for you all to see. If anyone is looking for an upgrade with a budget (this only cost me £330), this is definitely worth considering.

P.S. my wife hates it.

For the cable would this work? I just have a generic 1080p 60hz monitor at the moment but want to run two monitors
