Still the definitive book on the opening but an ambitious player would be wise to also do some work with a database on some of the more critical lines as there have been some new ideas for both sides since publication.

There is very little published on this nutty line and it gets wild if White finds the critical path. It creates original and complex positions. Theory is still far from coalesced here and gives plenty of room for creative ideas without giving White any chance to have been prepped.
Worthwhile to investigate. Takes White right out of any of their usual business.
Also, the a3 lines allow Black to get a KID structure in which a3 is of little value, Study Old Indian lines here for middle game ideas.
