I have these ones and so far they're working great! They're nothing special, but they get the job done and the connection works great.

I really like these.

Bluetooth Earbuds, TaoTronics Wireless Sweatproof Sports Headphones (Bluetooth 4.1, Secure Ear Hooks Design with Cable Clips, 7 Hours Play Time) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01BV2BPVS/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_UxPMxbM2S1ZKY

I use cheaper bluetooth iems to use with my phone since its easier not to have cables when working out..
i bought these not too long ago.. nothing great but good enough for the gym.

These guys have lasted me through the summer and fall on my bike. Sound great, don't fall off of my head, and all of my sweat and the bit of rain they saw have had zero negative effect on them.

u/blight231 · 3 pointsr/BuyItForLife

I don't know about " for life " but I wear Bluetooth almost everyday and these ones I've had about 2 years with no end in sight

I have 3 pairs of these and I love them. They are about the best cheap headphones you can buy (assuming you're not an audiophile or anything). The only problem I have with them is that they fall out of my ears a lot when running, so I use them for other things and use the sports version from TaoTronics for running I would also highly recommend them. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01BV2BPVS/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I disagree with everything on this list. Here are my counterpoints.

  1. The weight feels awesome, and I never seem to misplace my phone with the battery case on.

  2. Wealth is relative, but $60 is not that much money. Give it to yourself as a birthday present.

  3. Plug your phone in at night, wake up with both completely charged. Your comment seems imply the battery is charged first, which is not true. Plug your phone in > QuickCharge 3.0 the phone first > once that's done it charges the battery with 2.1 amps. Takes 4.5 hours to complete charge both the phone and battery from 0. When you charge your phone off the battery it's cable charging at 2.0 amps, takes about an 1.5 hours, just like off the wall.

  4. This is simply not true. The ZeroLemon battery case for the S7 Edge provides ample protection, just like a Spigen case with the lip (I have one). The Samsung one does not. Again, what you said is just wrong.

  5. Wireless charging should be avoided since it heats the battery, it is also much slower. I never use Samsung Pay, they don't even accept my bank.

  6. I bought a pack of these for aux cables, but use my wireless headphones anyway so hardly even need the extenders.

None of the reasons he listed have had any practical effect on my use of the ZeroLemon battery case, so take his opinion with a grain of salt.

I have these earbuds: https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B01BV2BPVS/ref=od_aui_detailpages00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

The hooks help keep them in place even if they aren't the most stylish. Sound quality is pretty good too.

u/machoo02 · 2 pointsr/running

I recently ordered these and have been happy with them so far. Ear hooks will prevent them from falling off, and removing one of the silicone earbuds allows in plenty of ambient sound for situational awareness.

u/impyl · 2 pointsr/headphones

That looks very nice. I got this one last year because it was on sale for $20. and it has been solid for me at the gym.

u/Steve0mac · 2 pointsr/Nexus6P

I bought that exact pair and had the exact same issue with my Nexus 6.

Its the earbuds, I returned them and bought these

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01BV2BPVS/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

no issues.

which is a bummer because I like Anker products

u/Dreaded_RearAdmiral · 2 pointsr/weightroom

I have four different pairs of cheap bluetooth earphones ([this is one of the better pairs] (https://www.amazon.com/TaoTronics-Bluetooth-Headphones-Sweatproof-Earphones/dp/B01BV2BPVS/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1492185689&sr=8-3&keywords=taotronics+bluetooth+headphones)) and they all work well for the gym. They aren't heavy, and didn't really take any getting used to for me. Battery life seems good to me, though I haven't timed it.

u/skepticalDragon · 2 pointsr/headphones

Yeah I have these and they are much the same. Acceptable audio quality and great for running. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01BV2BPVS/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_awdb_plM9ybVNDHZWZ

u/240strong · 2 pointsr/Harley

I can't speak for if these stick out too far for your helmet or not, but I have no problem of them staying in my ears and they only cost 36 bucks. The sound quality isn't Bose sound by any means, but for the price I was very impressed.

Edit: I thought I should add they have another sleeker looking model that costs 29.99 that have just a hook that hangs around your ear.

Can't vouch for these personally, but they're sitting in my cart. Reviews are pretty compelling: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01BV2BPVS/ref=ox_sc_sfl_title_1?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=A2KUZVNQ9LP7N9

My experience with Bluetooth in general is that the connection should be okay for most activities. There are occasional orientations where you'll have signal dropouts (like if the receiver and phone are directly opposite your body), but overall, they're pretty easy to use. They're more expensive, obviously, and even in the best of circumstances, there's just more that can go wrong. Running out of battery can be a huge frustration too, especially if you're half way through your run. (A lot of BT headphones aren't great about telling you the battery is low until it's super low.)

That said!!! It sure is nice not having a wire. Bluetooth headphones are just more versatile through more activities. For instance, I have a lot of running pants and shorts that don't accommodate my phone, so on the run I bring a cheap pouch. But that's an extra thing to remember if I'm just going to the gym. Also, if I'm riding stationary at the gym or crosstraining on an elliptical or training for summer backpacking on the stair machien, I tap into gym's wifi and watch Netflix. Way nicer not to have a cord dangling.

I have been using these for about 9 months after trying like 3 different brands that fell out of my ears, cut in and out, etc. These are fabulous! They seriously stay put and I never have my music cut in and out. They're pretty cheap, too.

u/the_idiot_king · 1 pointr/strength_training

here ya go bro

They're really not as bulky as they look in that first pic I swear! I have 0 problems with weight or worry about them falling out.

These were affordable and I wear them exclusively to work out because they don't fall out. I have not had a problem with them hurting my ears except for when I tried to wear them on a six hour flight. Then they started to ache.

u/userspuzzled · 1 pointr/loseit

I have been using these for about 2 months and they are great
https://amazon.com/gp/product/B01BV2BPVS/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

They stay in when I am running and are pretty comfortable. I can wear them with my glasses just fine. I like them because I can swap the earbud size. Normally i cannot wear earbuds at all because they hurt, but these come with nubs you can swap out that are different sizes. I use the smallest one and they fit great.

u/AL923 · 1 pointr/headphones

I am not an audiophile of any sorts I'm the kind of person that thinks Apple's stock headphones they give with their phones are good enough. I purchase the $10 skull candy smokin buds at TJ Maxx and think they're fine. All I am looking for is some budget bluetooth in-ear headphones for running and working out battery life does not need to be long looking for something with a minimum of around 4 hours of battery life.

These are the options I've been looking at and would like any input if anyone has used these headphones or would recommend one over the other.

TaoTronics Bluetooth Headphones

Zeus Bluetooth Headphones

Hussar Bluetooth Headphones

Any help would be greatly appreciated I've been googling and looking at the subreddit didn't dig too deep, but deep enough to where it seems everyone is recommending the JayBird X2's or the JayBird Freedom and those are a bit out of budget for myself. I also saw that these Anker Bluetooth Headphones were recommended, but reading reviews on Amazon has me wary.

I have these and they work pretty well TaoTronics Bluetooth Headphones Wireless In Ear Earbuds Sports Sweatproof Earphones with Built in Mic (Cordless 4.1, Secure Ear Hooks Design, 7 Hours Play Time) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01BV2BPVS/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_F2RCzb62WT8Y2

For headphones I got a pair of these for my marathon training. https://www.amazon.com/TaoTronics-Bluetooth-Headphones-Sweatproof-Earphones/dp/B01BV2BPVS/ref=sr_1_12?ie=UTF8&qid=1491398337&sr=8-12&keywords=bluetooth+headphones

Cheap, good battery life (2-3 long runs, 9+ miles), and I ran through a few Nor'easters with them, so definitely waterproof enough from sweat and rain.

I use these

Budget - Prefer to stay under $60, but might be flexible

Source - PC at work or my phone

Requirements for Isolation - Full isolation, I'll be using these at work. Doesn't need noise cancelling, but I don't wanna hear everyone else's phone calls and conversations.

Will you be using these Headphones in Public? Yes, at work in an open cube environment. Want to keep the outside noise out and the music in so I don't bother others.

Preferred Type of Headphone - Primarily, bluetooth or other form of wireless. I keep getting the cord caught on so much at my desk I need to go wireless. Prefer over-ear, but I do have a large head and bigger ears. I'm not against in-ear but they do get uncomfortable after a while.

Preferred tonal balance - Balanced. I'm not an audiophile but I don't want to be hearing the music mixed with static.

Past headphones - Sony MDRNC7 currently, but the noise cancelling doesn't work anymore, and the cords get in the way. Bose QC25, which fit over my ears perfectly, but I don't want to keep $300 headphones in the office and again, cut the cord. Sennheiser RS120 are uncomfortable, hear a lot of static, and got complaints from coworkers that they could hear exactly what I'd hear. TaoTronics TT-BH10, i use these to run in and getting a second pair for work would be my fallback, but just looking for something a little more comfortable. I just bought some Sound Intone P6 based on price and high reviews, but after testing them at home they don't sit well on my head and they may as well be speakers because people around me could hear everything. I installed the Bluetooth stack on my work PC yesterday and they sounded clear, but this morning they sound very muffled and washed out. I'll grab my running headphones and see if it's localized to the P6's or all Bluetooth.

Preferred Music - Usually rock or new wave, but for extended sessions i'll listen to Pandora Journey mixes.

What would you like to improve on from your set-up - Just a pair of decently priced wireless headphones I can wear at work while at my desk. I'm not composing music so they don't need to be professional grade

I just got finished shopping for some bluetooth headphones. I'm waiting for them in the mail, but they look like they will work for your criteria:

Taotronics Bluetooth Headphones

These have a clip for some built-in cable management. It looks like a much better clip than is normally available.

I find the ear hook earbuds by far the most comfortable style in general. They are also more convenient for one ear listening (just hook one to your shirt and you're good to go).

u/AverageTriGuy · 1 pointr/Strava

I can't speak to that Bose product, but that's way more money than you need to spend. I would recommend just getting a standard Bluetooth heart rate monitor from a reputable company like Wahoo.

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00INQVYZ8/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_rvlIybY9TTXSG

And then a decent Bluetooth set of headphones. I've been using these ones for about 7 months and they are great.

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01BV2BPVS/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_DylIyb4X7HYKQ

This combination will cost you about $80, rather than the $150 will. Good luck!
