I just bought a Roku tv. On sale $214 I think usually $300. It is a smart tv with built in streaming. You can download youtube, Netflix, Hulu, etc... Directly to it. It connects to wifi. You could connect your mac to it through whatever adapter cable is required for apple products to HDMI. Ive only had it for about a week. Ive noticed the software is a little buggy, but even $300 for a 43" smart tv was a great deal. Even with the bugs I don't have any issue with it. The display is nice and no problems streaming or with audio/video, just occasionally slow with opening apps (but it might be my internet I'm not positive). It is not an apple product so it does not have built in wireless connectivity to the apple ecpsystem, but I dont think many (if any do). All in all though it is a great tv and I love being able to stream stuff on it without having to hook a computer up. If you are uncertain I would recommend going to a store and looking for one so a return if unsatisfied would be less hastle.

Edit: link to the exact one I got.
