I totally understand. I'm the same way! I recently found out though that most cleansers strip you of your natural oils, which you would think would be a good thing, but your skin will actually produce more oil trying to make up for what has been lost. Which then will cause more clogged pores.
I hope your moisturizer works for you! Personally, my skin does not like SPF and has caused me some problems, but it's most likely because of how sensitive my skin is. If it doesn't work for you though this is the moisturizer I use-
