Sounds like I need to check that out.
In this vein I would also recommend Wiener's The Human Use of Human Beings.

You know, this album was actually a treasure map. The band or EMI or someone associated with them release a series of messages on Usenet alt.music.pink-floyd in 1994. It still remains unsolved...

There's also been quite a bit of speculation that the concept of the album revolves around communications and directly draws from Norbert Wiener's seminal "The Human Use of Humans: Cybernetics and Society".

You'll meet some strange characters and learn a lot of new things in your investigation of this..
