I was quite impressed by The Improbable Rise of Singularity Girl. It was one of the first books to survive my ImmerseOrDie challenge and is still one of the best indie books I've read.

The Improbable Rise of Singularity Girl. Almost too similar, actually. I think it's good, because it's entertaining, and it's different enough so that it still feels fresh.
