Iv started to get interested in the positive effect meditation can have on ones life, it's the first book Iv read on the subject. It's a beautiful book to read even if you're not particularity interested in meditation and the simple breathing exercises it talks about came in extraordinarily useful on a recent trip.

I started to get this anxious feeling in the pit of my stomach that in the past has spoiled fairly high dose trips as I was unable to control / stop them. Just going through the breathing / focusing on the breath exercises literally smashed the anxious feeling into a million parts. It really did show me that such feelings are nothing but that, feelings, manifested in the brain and completely controllable by the the brain.
