Whether you like him or not I think AB gives some great insight on the culinary world of reality....

This was one of many things that put the final nail in the coffin so to speak for me about wanting a "career" in the culinary arts.

EDIT -- Here is a great book about restaurant entrepreneurship, yet another one of the deciding factors of not wanting to get in the industry. (I wanted to open a bar/grill at one point in time.)
