Reddit mentions of The Story of Spain

Ah, I've been there several times. My dad used to go to Cordoba every year for a festival (he's a classical guitarist/teacher) so I went with him a few times and we'd stop by a few other cities in Andalusia. Granada is my favorite city I've been to other than Paris. It's one of the most beautiful and serene cities in Europe. I cried there once because I was overwhelmed by all the history, haha. It was a weird moment.

I'm very lucky to have a chance to go back and spend a few months there. Hopefully I'll be able to learn as much as possible! I'll pour some sangria on the curb in your honor.

ps I just bought The Story of Spain since it's for Kindle and I can't afford your moorish history recommendation. But I found another on google books which I'll read as well! I don't want to bring any tomes with me when I travel since I'm going to be squeezing everything into a single bag.
