I would highly recommend checking out The Outlaw King series by S.A. Hunt. It's a great series a definitely has a Dark Tower vibe to it.

These are the paperbacks for book 1 and book 2 of my own series.

If you like coming-of-age comedies and proving-one's-worth stories, Oakes's Stupid is good. It's pretty offensive in parts, but one of the best general-fiction books I've ever read.

I know you're not into horror, but for anyone else reading this comment, season 1 of Ruz's extremely good horror series Rust is in paperback too, as well as his fantasy novel Century of Sand.
