Definitely The Religions of Man - I read this in 1st year university and it really stuck with me. The author describes every major religion in detail, without any bias whatsoever. I believe it was first published in '53, but has had updates and is a very engrossing and enlightening read.

Also, well written in an understandable and conversational tone. I could have tackled this no problem in grade 10. And I was hardly the brainiest kid in class!

Good luck!
