I bought this router for first year in lister since it was relatively cheap. I’m still using it now at my house and it’s still working great! Honestly you could spend even less if you wanted.

Do you know if this would be sufficient?

75Mbps down usually smart TV + 2-3 laptops/iPad. Upstairs/downstairs, house is pretty small.

Internet -> Modem and modem wired to my PC as well as to the wireless router makes sense, right?

Q about wifi routers

I got TP-Link Archer C7 AC1750 from my ISP and they charged me $120 CAD + tax (its $89 CAD om Amazon). My initial intention was to return it later. Now, what should I get instead? Am I shooting myself in the foot by getting something cheap eg. TP-Link Archer C50 AC1200 for $39 or maybe TP-Link Archer C60 AC1350 for $59.

Or would it be wise to actually get something that actually cost ~ $120.

My current plan is 600/600.
