After reading your post and the responses for information, I feel like TP-link may be a good choice for you. I have this same combo pack from Amazon but you can just buy the router if that is all you need as well. Very easy setup. Has the 2.4 and 5ghz for your devices. It works well for me in a much larger house with 3 smart phones, 3 tablets, 2 consoles, a NAS, a few bluray and Smart TVs, a gaming PC, and 5 laptops. It has a guest network feature as well but my network is fine with guests on the wireless segment of the network (NAS is not confidential information and is password protected). Also, the router has a fun app to manage the network, at least for iOS.
