No trouble, it's single band as well which sucks balls, I'd not have bothered with a 50foot cable if I could reserve one channel for the PS wifi but I think Sony went a bit cheap on the wifi card to cut cost/price.
If you run into trouble with regular store LAN cables (you know ones that only stock 10foot cables) you can find super long ones on amazon etc [cheap-ish UK example] (https://www.amazon.co.uk/TRIXES-Network-CAT5e-Ethernet-Cable/dp/B004S6UWZ0)

Regardless.. Here is a 50 meter cable that costs less than ten quid
I doubt you'd even need a cable of that length but Ethernet cables are really cheap.
If you wanna keep the cable in a fixed place, grab a hammer and some cable hooks and you're set. No issues with a dog or length in any room of the house.
