the No Starch Press python books in general are great. Impractical Python Projects and Python Playground are also great. I really love cryptography and security as well, so if that is of interest Cracking Codes with Python and Black Hat Python are also very good though the hat books are written for Python 2. Also, not a No Starch book, but if you are interested in security Violent Python is another good one to move onto, but not a beginner book.
