Hey, I use this stand for a similar setup.
Some tips from an experienced user:
The mount is something like this . My monitor is not VESA compatible so there are also some adapter arms and clips which you see at the top and bottom.
I got it off of amazon here http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00B21TLQU/
It's for 27" monitors, but since mine's a 29" ultrawide I figured it would be a similar weight.
3 monitors running on 2 computers + ipad air 2
iMac late 2013 27" with numerous upgrades connected to a 27" Apple Thunderbolt display
2012 MacbookPro -- replaced the RAM to 16gb and pulled out the old HDD for a SSD. This machine is mostly running windows at the moment although the far right monitor in the pic has since been replaced with a 25" LG 25UM56-P monitor (super wide screen!)
Workflow: Most of my notes during talks, presentations, and classes are taken using the iPad air 2. While I am seeing patients, I use my iPhone 6+ to look up any essential clinical data that I can't recall off the top of my head. The apps I use for this are Epocrates and UpToDate. I watch most of my class lectures at home using VLC, and scrub through the lectures using peripherals described below. I make study sheets either in adobe photoshop using a wacom tablet or on paper which I scan into my computer and tag using Evernote.
Occupation: Second year MD-PhD student. I completed a BA (Psychology) and an MS (Medical Science) before starting med school. After 2 years of med school, I switch to graduate school to complete the PhD. This usually takes 3-4 years (people in my program have the PhD timeline compressed and streamlined). Then I go back into medical school for 2 more years before starting residency.
Noteworthy peripherals:
Other stuff
In the other room is a 63" plasma 1080P samsung connected to a Pioneer 7.2 channel receiver, Ps4, Xbox one, and logitech harmony remote. I occasionally like to relax, and I also watch lectures on the big TV sometimes. I wired HDMI, ethernet, and USB directly through the wall into this room. There is another Harmony hub on my desk which works with Flirc to control the mac.
Monitor mounts:
Apps
iPad: iAnnotate, Netter (Anatomy app), Essential anatomy 5, Adobe PS Touch, Memorang (studying for board exams), Figure1 (medical 'can you figure out the diagnosis?' app), Epocrates, UpToDate, QxCalculate (medical), Plex, several apps for interfacing with the NAS. Those are the big ones.
Mac: VLC for sure. Microsoft Office, Evernote, Adobe CC, Adobe DC, Transmission, Daemon Tools, Flirc, Prism 6 (stats and graphing), SPSS (stats), BioLucida (virtual microscope), Nanozoomer (virtual microscope), Fantastical 2 (calendar), Clear (to do list, also on iPad), Googledrive, Dropbox, Onedrive, Growl, LittleSnitch, Audirvana plus, istat menus, Default folder X (finder addon), Bartender 2, Alfred, Caffeine, enounce MySpeed (for speeding up lectures), BetterTouchTool, BetterSnapTool, TextWrangler, Radium (for listening to Sirius XM), Karabiner (custom key bindings), Parallels (for virtual machine, rarely needed), Synergy (this is essential for my set up, lets me control both computers with one set of input devices), BitTorrent Sync, Audio Hijack, Rowmote.
Windoze: Honestly this machine is mostly used to convert files that I cant get going right away on the mac, like old OneNote files. Especially, I use this machine for the rare moment I have time to PC game. When I do, it's mostly LoL, sometimes starcraft.
Just ask if you have any questions!
Thanks! It's the Vivo monitor arm. https://smile.amazon.com/VIVO-Monitor-Adjustable-Articulating-STAND-V001/dp/B00B21TLQU/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1500921140&sr=8-2&keywords=vivo+monitor+mount

You should use monitor mounts perhaps. Cheap and tidy. Can probably even get some locally.
It's not like getting a monitor arm that clamps to your desk is expensive. This is $27 and hold up my 34" just fine. When you're already paying north of $1000 for a monitor.... what's another $30? Stands suck anyway. Free up that desk space!

I ordered a new desk from Ikea early April but I only got it a week or so ago. It feels like ages but I'm just happy it's all here and it worked like I expected.
Other things:
My desktop is a prebuilt Dell with an i7-4790, but I added an SSD, swapped out the 1TB HDD for a 2TB when it crapped out, and added a GTX 1060.

I believe it’s this one. I have the dual monitor version of this and it’s really great.
https://www.amazon.com/Acer-GN246HL-Bbid-24-Inch-Display/dp/B00KO4518I/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1511174043&sr=8-3&keywords=acer+144hz
Just finished building my pc a week or so ago, and I've been loving this monitor. Colors on it are good, not amazing, but for a TN display, very solid (after some calibration). I mostly picked it for the 144hz, and at its price point, it's an insane value. I'm running the 3gb version of the 1060, and games run buttery smooth. Destiny 2 on high settings reporting 100+ fps, Planetside 2 at 130+. Decided to go with the 3gb since I'm not particularly interested in 4k gaming or VR.
The stand is a little too short for my liking, with no height adjustment, so I decided to get a mount for it.

I think maybe
https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00B21TLQU/ref=ya_aw_od_pi?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Or I could be wrong lol.
I love it. Very smooth, played Forza Horizon 4 last night and it looked stunning running at about 90-100 fps. Colors look pretty good out of the box, although I havent calibrated it yet. No dead pixels, some, but I think minimal, light bleed in the bottom corners.
I have it on this stand which looks much much better than the one it came with which forced it too close to my face.
The best was my wife, who was not into the idea, even caved and said ok that is pretty fucking baller. :)
So I have this VIVO Single monitor arm for my main monitor and some ergonomic swivel monitor arm I got from my workplace's surplus (Was just going to go to a warehouse to be recycled, so I grabbed it). Hoinestly tho, getting 2 VIVO single arm mounts would work just as well if not better, considering the ergonomic arm wobbles more than the solid VIVO arm. Just be sure to get 2 single arms and not one dual arm, because I've seen images of the table giving in to all that weight concentrated on one area.
Very much. Its solid AF.

Says it supports up to 27”. Myself along with other people in the review who bought it use it with a 34” monitor as long as it can support the weight.

So I was in a similar situation except with a 34" UW and a 22" widescreen. I ended up just getting two individual mounts. Cost me only around $50 off amazon. Ergotron makes a gas spring dual mount but I'm not 100% sure it would fit and it's well over $150
I used these and they work perfectly.
Here is a pic of them set up.

Hey! Not op but there's a couple ways you can go about doing this. 1 and probably the easiest is to buy a monitor that can just flip outright. I personally found one on Craigslist for like 30 bucks. 2 and the cheapest way if you have high dollar monitors is to grab a mount from somewhere. Something like this https://www.amazon.com/VIVO-Monitor-Adjustable-Articulating-STAND-V001/dp/B00B21TLQU/ref=mp_s_a_1_6?ie=UTF8&qid=1543568103&sr=8-6&pi=AC_SX236_SY340_QL65&keywords=monitor+mount&dpPl=1&dpID=31qDzCQi0%2BL&ref=plSrch. Hope that helps!

I believe it's this one, I say that because that's the one I have and it looks exactly the same, it kinda sucks thobefore you say the base isn't the same, the stand comes with 2 bases, one for mounting on top of the desk (like in OP) and one that mounts to the side (like on the product page)nvm lol
Here's the link for anyone else interested. Wasn't sure if allowed to post and if not then please delete but a couple people have asked so far so here it is. Single monitor stand that I've used for my personal PG279Q and my girlfriends new 34" 21:9. It has worked great so far for both and is pretty affordable imo. Check reviews and photos on Amazon!

On the left is one of these and on the right, one of these.
Are you using either this or this? If so, how did you mount one monitor above the other? I have both, but my three monitors are all mounted side by side. I'd like to put my vertical mounted monitor on top of my middle monitor though.
two of these
I used both arms on one stand though

I got the keyboard on sale, wouldn't recommend it for full price!
This is what I used on the 23' monitor, I drilled a few holes in the base and then screwed it directly into the desk.
I bought this desk mount. There are cheaper desk mounts out there but this one swivels, tilts, and adjusts on every axis you can imagine.

It is this one.
It says 22 pounds.
I haven't had any issues using it with this monitor. I believe the monitor is just under 20 pounds after the stand is removed.
Get a monitor stand. I just got one of these for a second second monitor. It changes the game having monitors angled how you want them. Yup that's all i got. Monitor stands. Pretty cheap stuff
Thanks brother
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00B21TLQU?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_search_detailpage
issues i'm having though are some annoyances with sleep and wake on the MBP, i have it set to not turn off (just the screen turns off) and when it does all the drives hooked up to the monitor eject. work around? besides that i may have to drop some of the setting down on Counter strike, getting a bit of choppy game play. monitor mount is https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00B21TLQU/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o08_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
if anyone is interested
I'd strongly recommend picking up either a wall mount or desk clamp mount for that monitor, as it makes a huge difference in the overall look, and you can pick them up pretty cheap. I use this one, myself.
My main display is wall mounted with https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01ACOR2PE
My secondary display is mounted with https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00B21TLQU

Vivo
Yeah! And for $50 more you can get their 27" 1440p 144hz. I can't attest to this one but I got last year's model of the 27" 1440p 144hz and it's been soooo nice. The included stand was terrible though, and it looks like this one isn't any better. Finally caved and got this bad boy a couple months ago and now it's basically everything I could want out of a monitor. Anyways I'm drunk rambling. Happy shopping!
Edit: While I'm at it, I generally approve of Monoprice cables, but their displayport cable had problems. Apparently a lot of companies make bad displayport cables because the displayport standard doesn't require the shielding necessary to send the signal without significant degradation. At least that's how it was a year ago. Amazon basics seems to make decent displayport cables though. I've used a few of them and never had any problems.
I used this mount, which I saw as a recommendation from a few other post here:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00B21TLQU/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
I use a vivo single arm desk mount. It works great, and saves a lot of space that would be taken up by the huge Samsung stand.
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00B21TLQU/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01__o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
I recently was in the same position (though I have three monitors). I tried a triple arm but it did not seem stable at all supporting that much weight that spread out.
I returned that and bought three of these. Best decision as I can now position them wherever I want since they are not attached to each other. And the arm build quality is great; no worrisome drooping from the weight.

2x of these. They are mounted to the back of the desk.
> 13-27" at 22lbs per
Honestly your better bet will be getting one solid mount meant for the size of the ultra wide, then one with more motion for your accessory monitor
I am working on a battle station right now that has a different but similar problem. My solution? Buy these one are monitor mounts. I am going to throw the tub away and just put the arm on my own piping. Then you have two poles, but I haven't seen a monitor mount that would hold both of those side by side
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00B21TLQU/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
So for the far right monitor I had to get a special mount for it. It’s the PG27UQ and weighs about 25 pounds, but the mount I used is this one:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00B21TLQU?psc=1&ref=ppx_pop_mob_b_asin_title
The other 2 monitors use this mount (it’s rated up to 14 pounds I believe):

Looks like this one http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00B21TLQU/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
I have the dual version of it and love it.
I am using this for all three: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00B21TLQU/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o09_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Just realized I didn't link the mount, I'm dumb. Here you go.

Had to cut a hole in the backboard to make room for the clamp. Also needed a vesa adapter for the monitor so it was a bit of a project. But super happy with the result.
Yup, something like this would work
http://www.amazon.com/Single-Monitor-Adjustable-Articulating-Screen/dp/B00B21TLQU/ref=pd_sim_pc_3?ie=UTF8&refRID=16APJRCTEZ8DT1W8B4H5
I bought a few of these. I like them. They do not adjust heightwise on the fly, but they'll do portrait mode. Anything that will adjust heightwise on the fly will be $100+
I've used 23" and 27" monitors on them.
Thank you sir!

Cheap and easy! The only thing I don’t like is the long-ish bolt clamp that shows underneath. Very minor issue though.
I recommend looking on Amazon.com at brands like Vivo, Mount-It, and AmazonBasics for good mounts for reasonable prices.
If a single triple monitor mount is not enough to properly fit all of the monitors you could get 3 singles. Make sure all of your screens have VESA mounting holes. If they have different VESA mount sizes you can get size adaptors.
Triple monitor mount 1: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00BDT072S/ref=cm_sw_r_tw_dp_U_x_VD5OCbJX1ZC75
Triple monitor mount 2 (more flexible): https://www.amazon.com/dp/B06X9D7JWP/ref=cm_sw_r_tw_dp_U_x_uD5OCbF76S6YM
Single monitor mount (X3): https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00B21TLQU/ref=cm_sw_r_tw_dp_U_x_xE5OCbW8QX4H4
Once you go VESA mounted you never go back, so worth it man. I have my TV mounted on a VESA arm for playing Halo/Xbox, and my work desk has double monitor setup is VESA mounted too and it's worth the cleaness and space saving.
I have a 27" Korean 1440p IPS directly in front of me, and a 27" 1080p IPS to the left of that. Each are on separate mounts. Left one is vertical unless I'm using it for media, or have my laptop below it.
Highly recommended:

I have one main rule that I like to stick by: anything that isn't necessary to see get it out of sight. What I mean by this is hide cables, move things off of your desk, possibly get a stand for your mac, and I also like using monitor arms like these:

those three items is what will give you this look, I used 3 mounts for obviously 3 monitors(mine are curved)
I have two 29 inch ultrawides one above the other. I did it the opposite way however - I have the bottom screen angled up, and the top monitor facing straight.
I pieced the monitor mount together using:
You just take the articulating arm from #2 and add it to the extra tall pole on #1. Save the extra pole for an intruder or something.
Unfortunately, they don't just sell the arm - the pole comes with it.
It might be easier to find a monitor that just has VESA compatible mounting options, and get a cheaper monitor arm like this one.

Definitely get a arm if you’re able to! I got this one for mine and it’s amazing!
Depends on desk size/space/orientation but I think this style is much better at a similar price, takes up less space and it's not practically worse off in range of motion
https://www.amazon.com/VIVO-Monitor-Adjustable-Articulating-STAND-V001/dp/B00B21TLQU/
I have the exact mount that you linked with two different monitors, as long as they are roughly the same size it will work but it won't be perfect.
I have a buddy that uses two of these for his dual monitors instead as he claims that it allows him to balance to different monitors better however getting two single monitor mounts usually costs a little more.

yep, can either be cheap for hard-fixed arms with simple joints that you tighten/loosen or more expensive for gas-filled ones that you can adjust all you want.
Here is the one i'm using works pretty well, and unbeatable at $30. There's a single mount too if you don't have two monitors
For nicer expensive ones go Ergotron
Why don't you consider using a monitor arm? Like this here. I have a similar one. You should only check if your desk is "strong" enough. (Not one of the cheap IKEA Desks)
I went for this:

EDIT: thanks much appreciated man
I got that monitor when it was on clearance at Best Buy a few weeks ago.
I’m using this arm:
https://www.amazon.com/VIVO-Monitor-Adjustable-Articulating-STAND-V001/dp/B00B21TLQU/ref=sr_1_5?keywords=Monitor+arm&qid=1557364071&s=gateway&sr=8-5
Works fine, as the monitor is ~16 lbs. and that arm holds 22 lbs.
If you wanna be on the safe side get this one:

It's a Vivo Desk Mount from Amazon
Sorry should have included that originally. The mounts used for the ultrawide and tv are these: VIVO Single LCD Monitor Desk Mount Stand Fully Adjustable/Tilt/Articulating for 1 Screen up to 27" (STAND-V001) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00B21TLQU/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_uYx7Bb1TQDZR3
They make a short and tall version but I can't actually find the tall one at the moment on mobile. They're fantastic and are very clean looking.
The monitors are:
Main - LG 34UC88
TV - Samsung 32" (Old Model)
Drawing Monitor - Ugee 1910B
I'll try and post some PC specs later when I get home.
how does it compare to the one from vivo? they look identical, vivo being cheaper even at $17 with FS
https://www.amazon.ca/Single-Monitor-Adjustable-Articulating-VIVO/dp/B00B21TLQU/ref=pd_cp_229_2?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=Y7B92R1FDE8STR6D953R
Full mobility, or just tilt/rotate?
I like these guys for full mobility: https://www.amazon.com/LX-Desk-Mount-LCD-Arm/dp/B00358RIRC You can rotate, move up/down, left/right, closer/farther, pivot, etc. There's dual monitor stands as well.
VIVO makes some nice/cheap stands as well, but they're stationary. You can move the screen closer, tilt, and rotate the screen, but height adjustment involves an allen wrench and getting up. https://www.amazon.com/VIVO-Monitor-Adjustable-Articulating-STAND-V001/dp/B00B21TLQU
I use this one, very satisfied and moves pretty easily but only on the x axis. It does have tilt but from experience you have to pre adjust and lock it in via a provided hex key And as well as pre adjust height.
Here’s some pics of it in use. (27” monitor)
Some Do’s and dont’s?
If you have a cheaper desk, like mine (linnmon 47” wide), avoid having a lot of weight in the center to prevent your desk from morphing. I had to change mine from it being mounted in the center to about 1/4 deep into the desk to help prevent morphing. I noticed the weight is much more concentrated when mounted and not spread out as evenly as it was when it was on the desk.
Make sure you have enough cable slack so you can comfortably move your monitor if you plan on doing so.
And make sure that you tighten everything that needs to be tight. All the parts of the arm assembled correctly and your monitor mounted correctly.
BUT MOST IMPORTANTLY
Schedule a day for it. You don’t wanna rush it, cable manage right so it looks nice. It’s worth. If you want it angled and properly eye level or at a specific height or something, having another person help you really does make things easier.
https://www.amazon.com/VIVO-Monitor-Adjustable-Articulating-STAND-V001/dp/B00B21TLQU/ref=sr_1_6?ie=UTF8&qid=1492967826&sr=8-6&keywords=monitor+arm
Well, I guess then you really wanna go with the 1080p 240 Hz. I am sorry but I can't recommend other monitors as I have myself not considered part of the 240 Hz target group. The only other suggestions I have is to get a monitor stand like in the ink below. Also available if you have 2 monitors. Don't get botheredby the included stand. This one here is just an example but they got some at work for us and they are really great. You free up soooo much space on the desk. Best 20-30 $ spent!
https://www.amazon.com/VIVO-Monitor-Adjustable-Articulating-STAND-V001/dp/B00B21TLQU/ref=mp_s_a_1_8?keywords=monitor+stand&qid=1568756887&s=gateway&sprefix=monitor+st&sr=8-8

This actually makes me curious - most arms are meant to be used horizontally, not vertically - if you tightened one of these, would it work just fine, or would it slap you right in the face one night?
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00B21TLQU/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_vZXLAb141192G
I'm definitely happy with the way the mount turned out. I'll need to get some longer cables so I can tuck them under the desk, but otherwise, it's pretty nice.
I am using this one from VIVO
Snag one of these: https://www.amazon.com/VIVO-Monitor-Adjustable-Articulating-STAND-V001/dp/B00B21TLQU/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1522703936&sr=8-4&keywords=vivo+monitor+stand
I've had quite a few mounts from that company. Great quality and next to nothing for how amazing they are. It will help to clean up the desk a bit! Looks great so far!
why would you need a hole? i have 2 arms for the other two monitors . and i might out this one on the arm eventually when the stand gets in way enough times.
get something like this ? : https://www.amazon.com/VIVO-Monitor-Adjustable-Articulating-STAND-V001/dp/B00B21TLQU/ref=sr_1_7?keywords=monitor+arm&qid=1564256867&s=gateway&sr=8-7 maybe more expencive one for heavier monitor. clamps on side of desk

as for the arm itself, I dont remeber exactly which one but its just a generic mount like this: https://www.amazon.com/VIVO-Monitor-Adjustable-Articulating-STAND-V001/dp/B00B21TLQU/ref=sr_1_6?ie=UTF8&qid=1475128454&sr=8-6&keywords=monitor+arm+mount

Looks good! Give some thought to monitor mounts.
I have the 98” Karlby and just got around to using monitor mounts. Having all the space freed up and my monitors elevated is amazing, really wishing I would have done them sooner.

I just got it off of Amazon. One of the best sellers. Vivo Stand

I used this one until my monitor broke recently. Plan to use it for the foreseeable future.
They are Vivo Montor Mounts i picked up on Amazon

99% sure it's this one. Have it. Love it. 👍
edit: it might be a bigger one for ultra wide monitors
I used these for the left and right tvs: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00B21TLQU/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_fuZxxbXMBVAZZ
This one for the middle one: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01AK9TOPM/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_nvZxxbKY39P0M
Definitely sturdy well built mounts. Holds up to 22 pounds. And very good articulation of the arms. I had some cheap monoprice ones before and they were awful and kept sagging down no matter how much I tightened the bolts.
Also if you're mounting tvs you will need a vesa adapter for each.
Monitor desk mounts will change your life.
My portrait sits on this and my main 144hz is on a fixed height/tilt/swivel/rotate mount.
https://www.amazon.com/VIVO-Monitor-Adjustable-Articulating-STAND-V001/dp/B00B21TLQU/ref=sr_1_3?keywords=vivo+monitor+mount&qid=1563240132&s=electronics&sr=1-3
Edit: just saw your current setup, these mounts are safe to use on glass. I had a piece of cardboard cushioning the bottom of the adjustable portion of the clamp against the bottom of the glass surface. I had a glass desk prior to moving to the Ikea Linnmon special.
Actual setup: https://imgur.com/z79vymu Having the secondary on such a flexible mount means I can just swing it out, rotate, and have a proper landscape monitor when needed.
Mind sharing the link for the monitor arm? I tried looking but there are so many of them.
edit: looks like this one, but maybe with one of the arms removed, as some reviewers mentioned.

I remember my similar upgrade in desk, though I skipped all the way to a standing desk. Anyways, I've been using this stand and the two monitor variant with no problems.
I got this stand from Amazon. Not super thrilled with it but it does work better than the stock stand.
It's also worth mentioning that the VESA mount on the monitor are very, very shallow (i.e. you can screw the securing screws in more than a few centimeters so I had to use a bunch of washers as spacers).
Not sure if it will be on sale but I just picked up this mount. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00B21TLQU/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Hey! Thank you :-).

Single Monitor Desk Mount Stand Fully Adjustable/Tilt/Articulating
This is the one I got. It's not rated for 34" but it works fine, no sagging etc once the bolts are tightened. Just be sure your desk isn't too thick like mine was otherwise you may have to drill it.
Ty for the compliments! I will link the monitor arm I used below but I am not sure if they have them in the UK. However, most VIVO monitor arms are very reliable if you could maybe find them on ebay. I have a Karlby Countertop so it is much heavier and sturdier than a Linnmon so I can't say for sure if yours will hold up. Can't be sure but in the reviews, I believe many people who purchased this arm have Linnmon Tabletops. I will leave the link either way, it is up to you!

A vivo desk mount, ill link the amazon item below. It fits larger than 27, that monitor i have it on is a 29.
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00B21TLQU/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
depending on the monitor arm, there is a variation where you don't need a drill, something like this https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00B21TLQU/ref=mp_s_a_1_5?ie=UTF8&qid=1504632454&sr=8-5&pi=AC_SX236_SY340_QL65&keywords=monitor+arm+desk+mount&dpPl=1&dpID=31qDzCQi0%2BL&ref=plSrch, I'm using similar one for 27" monitor, didn't have any issues for months now, and it can be easily dismounted, without any damage to desk surface.
Non adjustable, doesn't fit together well. No instructions, and you definitely need instructions. I got these from amazon and they are miles better.
VIVO Single Monitor Stands
Its the Vivo Stand, very affordable.
I bought one of these and it works really well, helps to free up desk space too.
sure is. here you go
Make sure to measure the thickness of your desk. in the largest config it can only clamp on something 5 1/2" thick. i had to get creative and use some pieces of wood to make a flat surface on the back of mine to clamp to.
The LG on the left is just sitting on a little box I got at IKEA the screen on the right is attached to this: https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B00B21TLQU/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Oh nice! Yeah maybe something like this will work for ya. Good price point and good reviews.

My 34" said it was about 21lbs without the stand and these are supposedly rated to 22lbs. I have two of them, one for my 34" UW and another for my old 24" 16:9 and I have them next to each other. They seem really solid.

Two VIVO articluating arms and one Mount It! Single mount. I end up having three posts on the desk, but it is much more flexible. The annoying part is getting all the heights and adjustments to match.

Picked this up for my AW last week, removed one of the arms and it got rid of the wobble and works great - https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00B21TLQU/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
I have the dual monitor version of this and I love it. Cheap, works great, can’t really beat it.
Would you recommend this? Clamp type monitor arm and this type of desk? I am also similar to the other person on your thread earlier, about the pull out panel as I would just take that out and use the desk itself. Would this desk support a desktop pc and a 27" monitor and the monitor arm do you think?
I use these at home (3x) and at work (12x) and they are amazingly strong and easy to use. Each joint is individually tensionable. They say up to 27", but we use them for several 29-32" without any issues. Mount to a table edge or through a grommet hole. About 270 degrees of swing ability with a single joint loosened.

Vivo Arm V001 for the Ultrawide
For the 24 inch I use a gas spring from Vivo too
these are the stands!
Holy fuck dude, I have the same monitor, Here change your life...
There are actually holes I can mount something to hold the cables but both of the HDMI and the power cable are too short to go that route.
Heres the Amazon link for the monitor mount
Here it is
By no means a necessity and some people don’t like them. I just think it really helps make a setup look even cleaner. Yours is great as is.
It from VIVO, got it off Amazon
I purchased 3 of these with three of these mounts. I would never suggest putting all three monitors on one mount. Having three separate mounts is miles better.
Hopefully others think this looks clean.

That's a VIVO Single Arm and yeah, it's mounted to the desk. (far left corner) Very solid but I think I'm going to move the arm closer to the center of the desk as it's basically fully extended. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00B21TLQU/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1
They are each mounted to one of these VIVO Single LCD Mounts.

It's one of those cheap 3 way mounts from Amazon. Got this open box for $26. Theres a video on YouTube on how it looks like. I like this mount but you have to unscrew to adjust up. It also won't tilt back all the way unless you put it on the side like how I've set it up but it's hard to complain for the price! :)
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00B21TLQU/ref=cm_sw_r_awd_CBUbvb0KT44CT
It depends on how you want to orient the screens (Side by Side, One over the other, one portrait one landscape)
Where are the VESA mount holes on the rear of the monitors? I have the 21:9 29" Crossover monitor and the VESA holes are off centered, making it difficult to find a capable mount. If the VESA holes are centered, than it will be easy. Because of the width of your monitors, a normal Dual Monitor arm system probably won't
work.
Again, depending on the configuration you want, you will probably need two of these type of mounts.

Maybe something like a monitor mount though I don't think any of them come up to your 3ft limit without some DIY work.
Or like claytakephotos said, a tripod with a tilting centerpost. I just got the Vanguard Alta Pro 263AT over the Manfrotto 055 and am happier with it. Cheaper, still heavy, good fit, good quality, and the centerpost allows any angle rather than manfrottos 0 or 90 only.
Do you NEED the gas spring arm? Do you find yourself adjusting height constantly?
If the wobble bothers you I would return the ergotech arm and buy a simple bar-clamp style arm. I have this one; the less moving parts the better. It adjusts to a comfortable height and is rock solid. Dramatically reduced wobble.

It came with the plastic spacers I mentioned previously. I did use a couple of small metal washers for additional spacer, but I had those in my toolbox - you might decide to do the same. The spacers in the bottom were about 1 mm shorter than perfect, so the washer filled that gap
It’s a pretty basic one from amazon. I found a couple YouTube setup tours that used it. Here’s a link

EDIT: re: your neck and back pain. It's good your making your workspace more ergonomic. But there's only so much you can do there. Make sure you're taking frequent breaks if only for a few minutes.
Great monitor.
The mount is up to you though. If you want a wall mount I cant help you, but if you want a desk mount I'd highly recommend the VIVO.
Single monitor
Double monitor
This works for my X34 should work fine with yours. It just depends on how much your monitor weighs.
Thanks! This is the arm I got.

Consider getting a VESA mount like this: https://www.amazon.com/VIVO-Monitor-Adjustable-Articulating-STAND-V001/dp/B00B21TLQU/
Since your desk is right against the wall I don’t think you’d have room for a gas spring type arm. But these take up so little room and they’re dirt cheap.

They’re both VIVO single monitor arms. I took one of the arms out of each of them so that they could sit closer to the wall.
I purchased two of these. A fellow UW subscriber suggested them to me. I much, much prefer having two singles over a double or triple. IMO adjusting, moving, and the weight is wayyy easier to manage. Zero complaints so far.
Idk why but I'm hesitant putting 2 ultrawides on a double mount.
I might upgraded to something a lot more sturdy, but I bought a 25$ single monitor mount that supports 20lbs for my one ultrawide, it's a LG 29". The mount has been good and pretty sturdy and it's nice having more room on my desk, I'm thinking of buying another ultrawide and another of the same mounts this upcoming paycheck.
I want to give the TV I have to my sis and do a dual monitor setup for my PC and hook one of the monitors to my PS4.
This is the monitor mount I got - https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00B21TLQU/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_6fXNBb7DG1HPW
Edit: my only gripe with this mount is that the screws for the bracket have a plastic top, the screws are metal but the top are plastic and I stripped the plastic on one of them. I called the manufacturer of the mount and asked for the exact measurements of the screw, which were M4x12 0.7 thread pitch and got some full metal replacements from a local hardware store.
I have to move soon and didn't want strip the plastic screw tops on them breaking it down, moving and setting it up again.
I used this one:

You should consider getting a monitor mount, something like this. It would make everything even cleaner and give you the ability to adjust the height and position of your monitor. With or without it your setup looks great though.
I just got my PG348Q a few days ago and quickly realized I needed a monitor arm as it takes up most of the space on my desk. I spent hours searching and looking for a mount the other day and finally settled on this one:
The primary reason I purchased this one was because it was the only one that offered 2-day shipping via Amazon Prime. I didn't want to wait 1-2 weeks to get it. I'm somewhat impatient. :)
But that said, I was ready to purchase the Freedom Arm if I could find it anywhere that offered better shipping options:
Mind you I am in Canada, so the shipping options to the US will be better.
These recommendations are based off research that indicates they all support the PG348Q, or a 34" monitor of similar weight without any issue.
Also, I have a very solid desk, so I cannot comment on what would work for you, but as others have already suggested, you'll most likely need to replace your desk to support your monitor.
Hope this helps!
VESA mounts are just referring to the type of standardized mount on the back of monitors. How a manufacturer decides to use that mount leads to products like clamping monitor arms or multiple monitor stands or simply just stand replacements.
I can't seem to find any mounts with a weighted stand to use for a monitor arm.
Here's an example of how a clamp might work on a desk. There shouldn't be any damage to the desk.

I'd personally recommend this one if you're okay with a desk clamping monitor arm. I have a friend that purchased it and it works great for him. VIVO Single LCD Monitor Articulating Desk Mount

Even though it is a light desk. And thanks man, appreciate it!
I'll be a sophomore this year and brought mine last year when I was on campus as a freshman. I didn't use it much because I was either studying or when I had free time I was out or hanging with friends but I'm still happy I brought it. When I wanted to play games or watch tv away from my roommate I could. A recommendation of mine would be to get one of those Vivo monitor stands on amazon and to get a compact keyboard like a poker or something along the lines. Both of these will save you lots of desk space.

Thanks for the advice and answers! That’s what I’m thinking as well, better to have a higher quality game with a big ass monitor then wait for a GPU. As for the mount I currently have this mount: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00B21TLQU/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_iWHACb4QN4RNZ but it’s holding two 27” monitors. Do you think it will hold the CHG90 on it’s own?

Mount it.
You won't regret it.
I used an articulating single-arm unit from VIVO.
And because your speaker placement at the moment is complete nonsense.
I have an Acer Predator XB271HU on an IKEA Bekant desk and as I'm typing it will sometimes wobble a bit. It's not terrible, but it's enough to bother me and well, here I am. I've heard about VESA mounting, would this help eliminate the wobbling?

Will this monitor arm work with the Dell S2716DG? I haven't seen enough info to tell if its compatible or not, but I do know some Dell monitors are not VESA compatible. If this one doesn't work, is there an adapter I can get? Or maybe another similar arm? Thanks
Yep no prob. These are both affordable and high quality (unless you want to move the monitors around frequently, these are only good if you want to get em positioned and leave em).
Yeah, that's what I'm planning to do. Going to get a couple of these and mount the two smaller monitors vertically on either side of the big one.
https://www.amazon.com/VIVO-Monitor-Adjustable-Articulating-STAND-V001/dp/B00B21TLQU/ref=mp_s_a_1_3?keywords=vivo&qid=1563817749&s=gateway&sr=8-3
The arm is just outstretched behind the monitor.
You could give this stand a try. It also has a grommet mounting option. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00B21TLQU
Exactly. If you're considering moving the stools anyway, just put the PC and PS4 down there. Speakers could be mounted on the wall, either side of the monitor, and BAM!, you have all the space you could ask for with that desk. Want even more space? Mount the monitor on the wall as well, or get a swing-arm mount for it and have all the desk for your keyboard and mouse.

Looking at monitor arms for my new monitors, I'm troubled by whether I should buy a gas spring mount or a metal bar one. Looking at the VIVO brand on Amazon. I currently have a 27" and looking to get a 24" one, so having 2 different sizes (so something like this VIVO won't work well since I can't adjust them separately.
The only worry is that the gas spring mount will fail over time versus the bars (granted they both can fail). Any recommendations or am I worrying over something minuscule? I was looking at the STAND-V002JB versus getting two STAND-V001.
https://www.amazon.com/VIVO-Monitor-Adjustable-Articulating-STAND-V001/dp/B00B21TLQU
I got it for about $86 according to google. But only one reseller had them here so i wish you all the luck finding them, it's called AX2000 or something. I was actually amazed by the sturdyness and build quality of it. I absolutely recommend you get one of them.
EDIT: Actually, i found it on Amazon for 37 USD.
Monitor stand I needed 4 of them but they were cheap
I have this monitor mount, you think I can get away with attaching this monitor to it? It's rated to hold up to 22 lbs and the monitor is 16 lbs but the screen size rating is throwing me off. Not sure how the screen size could cause a problem but I just want to confirm first.

Also, one of the images has a guy playing some flying video game with a steering wheel, gave me a good laugh for a second.
Ay, the LG 34UM95C just landed on my desk. Anything I should look out for like those backlighting issues?
I got this monitor arm - it is cheap and good: www.amazon.com/VIVO-Monitor-Adjustable-Articulating-STAND-V001/dp/B00B21TLQU

Wow super necro bump.
> you really want a cheaply made stand and/or VESA adapter?
Lower prices do not mean cheaper build quality. Additionally, higher prices do not necessarily make the build quality of a product better.
> Remember, this isn’t just an iMac stand, this can be rotated, adjusted up and down, and stays at any angle you play pace it, as well as detaching easily with the press of a button.
here’s a very popular monitor mount . It can do all of those things except eject the monitor. And to me, that’s not a big deal. How often are you really undocking your monitor? It’s not a laptop: you won’t be pulling this out of your office every day. It’s nice to have, sure, but not necessary.
As another counterpoint, virtually every Dell monitor has this “press a button to detach” feature, yet their mounts are a whopping 86.00 new
Go to the monitors page on the acer website and search for vesa mount on the specifications (yours is 100x100mm), the most common are 75x75mm and 100x100mm. btw "Vesa" are those holes in the back of your monitor, sometimes is where the stand screws are.
After knowing that its just a matter of searching for a mount with that size.
There are 2 types of wallmounts
This that can be moved closer to you if needed (I like this type as I have USB ports on my monitor and it helps to remove or insert them again, and you have a lot more freedom with this type)
And this that stays flush against the wall and you cant really move it (dont really recommend this type tbh)
Have you though about monitor arms tho? I just prefer them over wall mounts, no need to drill the wall and you still save a lot of space on your desk.

The monitor is amazing and here's how it's mounted VIVO Single LCD Monitor Desk Mount Stand Fully Adjustable/Tilt/Articulating for 1 Screen 13" to 27" (STAND-V001) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00B21TLQU/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_SVwyDbYE698QE
EDIT: Was on Mobile.. Now I can do this properly:
VIVO STAND-V001: https://www.amazon.com/VIVO-Monitor-Adjustable-Articulating-STAND-V001/dp/B00B21TLQU/ref=pd_sim_229_1?ie=UTF8&dpID=31qDzCQi0%2BL&dpSrc=sims&preST=_AC_UL320_SR258%2C320_&psc=1&refRID=FMCRHCMATXGW2Y1S8HMF
This should work for your LG 25UM65 above the X34, but it'll be close and it doesn't have a lot of flexibility in terms of movement.
Loctek D7H: https://www.amazon.com/Loctek-D7H-supports-monitors-weighting/dp/B016M1LYA0/ref=sr_1_1?s=office-products&ie=UTF8&qid=1469722401&sr=1-1&keywords=D7H
Looks slick and has great movement. If your X34 is pushed all the way down on the stand, this SHOULD have enough clearance for the other monitor... might be close, but this gives you the flexibility to move the monitor around as you see fit.
Personally I've got a D7H for my X34 and I've got an old ASUS above it on the STAND-V001. I actually have my x34 on the stand ATM as I just got it and wanted ot make sure it worked before I mounted it... The first one didn't and it was a pain in the ass because I mounted it before testing (oops.. don't do that.)
You can see how they look stacked up with both mounted on the arms here:

Just look at the bottom pictures... that monitor has been returned and the new one is perfect :)
I used Vivo! monitor stands. Its actually a mix-match of several.
The left two are supported by this: http://www.amazon.com/dp/B009S750LA
the right two are supported by a combination of:
Because Vivo doesnt make Tall pole with arms. I can understand, they are worrying about the structural integruity if someone tries to arm up 3 monitors on one pole, and I will be honest the torque that my top monitor is putting on that pole is quite a bit, it definitely bent out a few degrees from the strain; however given how relatively light these monitors are (27" qnix, very litle plastic and a thin led panel) and the very high quality of the pole+arm mounts (I VERY MUCH RECOMMEND the mounts by the way) I am not worried a lot -- but I will be keeping an eye on it.
Oh and yeah, the "perfectly organized" comment. I so agree. It actually irks me when people put up a picture of a setup so clean, its like they put it together just to show off. Like thsoe people who fill their shelves with books they never once cracked open but are considered classics so they want to show it off. I work here, I game here, its a big part of my life and its not perfect, but its damn efficient and it has everything that I need.
Would this work ? VIVO Single LCD Monitor Desk Mount Stand Fully Adjustable/Tilt/Articulating for 1 Screen 13" to 27" (STAND-V001) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00B21TLQU/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_nUBlDbBNATX89
Thanks! I was wondering of the motion of pulling it forward would change the orientation of the monitor with this kind of stand? I have the feeling this would not happen with types like this: LINK
Pretty minimalist setup. Will be adding a new 2019 MacBook Pro 15" later this year.

holds my monitor (you should get one for yours too!) and my mouse cable
If you can drill a hole not sure what the standard size is but a lot of office desks have those holes often covered with one of these. (might be 60mm from what the url says)
A lot of the arms like this one and the one that I ordered come with an adapter for the hole so you'd just need to drill the one large hole in the desk and clamp mount it in the hole.
I have a 34” wide screen mounted to my standing desk, and I use a dual monitor gas shock articulating arm system (the other monitor is a vertical 27”)
The main issue I see with it is that the monitor is so wide that it’s hard to keep it perfectly straight, it has a weird “center of balance” which makes it rotate on the mount very easily, I can only imagine this would be even more pronounced for you.
Id probably recommend a single monitor mount for you.
This is the standard one;

This is the articulating one, which may give you rotation issues (although maybe it’s just me).
