Looking for a good 40 inch tv to be used to watch tv/movies/ occasionally game from couch. I picked up a floor model for real cheap from walmart awhile back, a VIZIO D40-D1 D-Series but it crapped out (luckily under our 90 day warranty). It was a pretty decent monitor, but looked like crap at first until I changed the output dynamic range from limited to full in Nvidia control panel.

I'd like to replace it now with something on the cheaper side but have it not look like total ass, but I don't need it to look amazing either seeing as how it's mostly going to be showing my desktop with rainmeter on it and other various stuff. I definitely don't need a smart tv, and I'd like it to be at least 40 inches. Any brands/sellers to avoid?

> I live in a 3 story house where I want reliable wireless on all 3 floors and my current setup of a router in the middle just isn't doing it. I plan to purchase a second router and put one in the basement and powerline adapter it to another one in the upstairs. Does this sound like a good plan? Is there something better I am overlooking? (I really didn't want to put CAT5 in the walls)
