Short term fix - Vornado heater - they will do a great job for a large room or couple of small rooms. Also available at Bed Bath and Beyond in SoMa.

Not that you should have to deal with this, but if you're needing a fix today, here you go.

They have these electric space heaters that have tip-over switches. They're actually really efficient at heating small spaces. I used one in my bedroom a few times when we had 'winter' in Florida but the place I was living didn't have heat.

Something like this.

I'm doing this (and more) using a Vornado Whole Room heater plus a SmartThings sensor and Smart outlet. The Vornado Whole Room (and Personal, if you want smaller) heater has a manual switch so it will come back to its setting when power is restored, unlike some heaters that are digital. It also has multiple power settings at 750/1125/1500W, I leave mine at 1125 which is compatible with the ratings on the SmartThings power plug.

So, I plug the Vornado into the Smart outlet, then I set an automation that if the sensor temperature gets below a certain point, it turns the outlet on, which powers up the Vornado heater. I also set mine to only be on for a certain length of time, in my case an hour, after powering up. You could use a specific time instead of a temperature. For a small bathroom, you might be able to use the smaller Vornado Personal Heater instead of the larger whole room heater. Note, there are some Vornado heaters which are digital controls and not suited to running off smart plugs, but these work.
