I said $40 because you can put together fairly similar products for that amount: Sodial razor $2.25 + Vulfix pure badger brush $17.99 + TOBS avocado shaving cream $15.95 = $36.

Upgrading the brush from pure grade badger to whippeddog silvertip would only bump up the price to $44.2.

I understand that the handle in your brush is unique. However I personally wouldn't pay $45 for it.

Even if we assume that someone is willing to pay $45 for that brush. Sodial razor $2.25 + Holy black shaving cream $14.99 + Holy black brush $44.95 + 5 dorco blades $2 = $64.19

The box in your kit is basically priced to be worth $85.76 and in sale $35.76. That is one ridiculously expensive box. Especially since it serves no purpose, other than packaging.
