I'm reading a book about music right now. Waiting for the Sun: A Rock & Roll History of Los Angeles. It has been nice to have youtube handy especially for the early chapters with older music that I'm unfamiliar with. It really adds an extra dimension to the dry non-fiction, plus when searching for older stuff there's a lot of meta-content (documentaries, live performances, etc.) on scenes, bands, clubs, etc. It's almost gotten to where I take this technology for granted, but it's quite amazing.
