I want to get a pair of moc toe boots, but I'm unsure of which brand would be the better buy when considering the price vs. the leather and construction quality. I would like to spend somewhere under $200 or as close to it as possible. I've done a lot of research on 3 boots as far as finding the best price available.

I can't decide which is better quality wise, which will last longer, which will age better; I've seen some conflicting information in different subs.

I'm new to high quality boots, I've worn the same pair of steel toed Timberlands for close to 6 years now and wanted to branch out a bit. I did just recently buy a pair of Chippewa Apache to replace my Timbs as my work boots, and a pit of Wolverine Chukka boots because I got a crazy price on them. But still not sure about this stuff and looking for a little help.

Im leaning towards the Thorogoods. Before anyone says Red Wing, they aren't out of the question, I actually went into a Red Wing store to get measured on their machine and the saleswoman told me I'm "probably a 13e-14e depending on which boot I got into". I can't really find many Red Wings in those sizes and the ones I do find are closer to $300 than $200 and are limited in color selection.
