My favorite way to depot is the floss method. Admittedly it’s a bit fiddly and takes a few tries to do without accidentally stabbing your pan with a pin, but it works great and doesn’t involve heat or flame. I’ve also used a hair straightener for heat where heat is required.

I honestly haven’t found a palette I like yet to hold depotted things. I have a mix of empty MAC palettes and Z Palettes but I find Z Palettes to be too flimsy for the price (acrylic window also shatters during travel) and the MAC is annoying because I have to buy magnet stickers for my products.
