Look no further than the Ying Jili

The Ying Jili is an Asian version of the Gillette Tech and for ~$3 it can't be beat in terms of value and performance (IMO at least). It's mild, yet efficient as all Techs are, and it's literally cheaper than a cup of coffee. I highly highly HIGHLY recommend this razor especially as a broke 17 year old!

Here is the link to the razor from Amazon:

In terms of using canned goo, some men find that it works. I personally don't. If you don't find that brushes and soaps are necessary for you, I would opt for some Cremo shave cream. They're at CVS, Walmart, Walgreens, Target, anywhere shaving supplies are sold and they perform 100x better than canned goo

I'm a guy who does a decent amount of manscaping down there, so here's my 2c.

You'll have to figure out positioning to minimize those depressions. You should be doing the same thing if you are shaving with any other razor.

If you aren't planning on shaving the labia majora and are going for cleaning up the edges, you should have no problem with most razors. If you are shaving everything, you have to be careful with a normal cartridge razor. It is pretty close to the same thing.

Pick something mild. The two from my modest collection that work best for me are Ying Jili and Dorco PL-602. Both can be found on ebay for cheaper if you are willing to wait a little longer to receive them.
