I have two systems at home each with a GTX 1070, one's got an i5-3570K CPU @ 3.40GHz and the other's got an i5-6500 CPU @ 3.20GHz. Is it worth considering upgrading one of the systems to this RTX 2080? I'm a Linux gamer and most recently I've been playing FFXIV and I just started messing with shaders, which is when I started noticing my FPS dipping sometimes. (But it's beautiful!)

I don't really upgrade my systems too often, and while I usually do so with a great deal of planning and research, Prime Day. I'm not sure if I should be jumping at a deal or if I'm going to be CPU-bound anyway. Any thoughts?
