Use something like this while water washing or your fingers on your scalp
Eat foods such as dark, leafy greens to encourage hair health and growth. Radishes are especially beneficial, also.
To encourage hair growth, something I do before each shower is to take a paddle brush with the rubber beaded prongs (Goody makes these) and massage my scalp. Even a handheld scalp massager does the trick. When I'm in the shower I do the same with my fingers, too.
It won't happen overnight, although if you at least keep up with the scalp massaging, your hair will grow.
I tried this a few months ago and was a greasy mess after a week. Epic fail, but at least I got some laughs out of it!
Also, I bought one of those scalp massager/shampooer thingies and will never use it again. If anyone wants it, hit me up and I'll mail it to you.
I have a scalp brush and it works for me.
Maybe try washing your face after cleansing your hair. Iโve never had this problem, but it might help you.
