I like these New Balance shorts on Amazon. Good and reasonable price.

These look pretty good too: New Balance Men's 5-Inch Run Short

I bought a pair of these a few months ago and I love them. I'm typically wearing Lulu Pace breakers, and I think they're pretty comparable. Looks like they went up in price a bit though.

> form fitting boy shorts that make you look great!

I'm not so sure a male equivalent of these does, or even should, exist.

These are my best guess though. Amazon and running store.

For shoes, I would go with running shoes, rather than cross trainers. But don't spend too much on your first pair. You might find there's a specific kind of exercise you like and you can buy a pair for whatever that is.

For clothes, I don't know if you'r a man or a woman. Women typically wear yoga pants, a sports bra, and a tank top. Men wear shorts like these and a t-shirt. Oh, and socks. Something like this is fine for starters

Edit: I looked at your wishlist pic. You're a girl.

My last trip to SFDK, I decided to wear a pair of my athletic/gym shorts, which have zippered pockets. They've since been deemed "my roller coaster shorts". They're lightweight, perfect to walk around in on a warm day and I never have to worry about what to do with my wallet, phone, keys, etc. Just zip the pockets up as I approach a ride and I'm done.

You can just search (Google or Amazon) for "sport shorts with zipper pockets", which should give you some good options. Here's an example: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00BN0HG1M/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_8r.xzbEVRCFEB

I’ll check them out.

I like Nike Vapor’s but I feel like they don’t make them anymore. I’m also trying to find something less expensive.

I just ordered these. We’ll see.

Yes. So much better than any other shorts. I heartily recommend these.

Running shorts, what's got everything?

I usually wear RaceWearX (http://shop.xracewear.com/) to avoid the pins but their quality has gone down hill as of late. I recently picked up some SEEU's as I needed one extra pair of shorts (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01GDQJDJ8/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o05_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1) and fell in love with the butt pocket being on the hip rather than centered in the rear. I also have a few pair of Under Armor running shorts with center storage.

Are other brands known for hip pockets rather than centered pockets? Does anyone else do built in bib storage?

There are some OK deals on Champion stuff. Specifically these sports bras and these men's shorts.

It looks like they're changing the way it works, no longer does it show the price with the prime day deal, it takes it off during checkout. So those shorts were $8 in the end and the sports bras were about $14.

I use these. No padding but i find them weirdly comfortable and i can wash them whenever i want because they dry in a few hours. Ive personally never tried padded shorts but my butt muscles have grown strong over time.

BOA vs Soffe shorts? (I'm a dude if that matters)

Boring backstory: I'm getting back into running, just coming off anbackpacking trip so my cardio is in really good shape so my motivation is good.

Previously I wore generic above-the-knee synthetic shorts but they're a little snug because I'm about 20 lbs heavier than I was when I was into running. I want to pick up a pair of "real" running shorts to try them. I'm leaning towards BOA for dat 1" inseam for motivation to get good-looking legs again and so I can get this and this pattern specifically. Soffe is cheaper tho.

I absolutely love these shorts and have been hiking in them for several years now. I just can't do the short running shorts. These shorts breath really well and are fairly light at 5.6oz for a men's size medium. Length falls to just above the knee. The first pair I picked up at a Marshalls for around $15 and then Costco carried them so I bought another pair as backup.

Trying to find a good pair of trunks. I like this style but I want them as proper trunks with the mesh. Any recommendations?

I kinda like these tbh

u/Dano4898 · 3 pointsr/crossfit

I had the same issue. I bought these on amazon on a whim because they were short money and I figured it wouldn't be a huge loss if they sucked. I've bought 3 more packs since, they're pretty great.

I wear these Calvin Klein v-necks and these ASICS shorts. I wear a pair of New Balance shoes that I can't find. The shoes are blue/orange, and I have a blue shirt and an orange shirt to coordinate. My bag is a blue ADIDAS bag that matches the shirt and shoes.

I'm really surprised that guys don't wear v-necks at the gym more often. They make your chest look much more impressive.

New shorts for the first time in 5+ years. I would periodically shop for a new pair online, but the cost of anything from the name brands made me roll my eyes and I had bad experiences with the quality and comfort of cheap stuff. Found these for under $20 and now I'm freshly shorted, 3 pairs to be exact. They're just as nice as the New Balance pair which were previously my favorite.

Also it was time for new tires so I picked up some NB RC1500's. My last 5 pairs have been the RC1400 V1-V5, it's a bit of a change.

u/minibutmany · 6 pointsr/running

Running shorts won't necessarily make you faster, but in general they feel cooler, won't absorb sweat, and prevent chaffing, which can make a run more comfortable.
These shorts are what I wear. They have a built in liner and a zipper pocket in the back for your phone or some gels.
