Hi there, I'm a software developer for 10+ years, but mostly desktop applications and object orientated. I have a computer Science Degree and wrote a thesis in artificial intelligence. I only tell you that so you can put some weight in what I say.Software Development is an awesome way to make a living and you ARE on the right track. - I actually took the course you are taking now haha Colt is awesome eh? Start YelpCamp yet? :).
And yes, JavaScript and Node.js are the two most used languages/frameworks right now. Starting with web development is absolutely the BEST place to start and the reason is because it is relatively easy and there are LOADS of jobs out there. Typically, outside of web development, they wouldn't hire anyone without a computer science degree. But there is so much work for web dev that it won't matter - sorta.
And because you are brand new, you are going to have to aim your sites low. Apply for very junior jobs.
You are going to have to accept the fact that you'll be making a lower salary than most, but it's still good. I'd say 50k-60k but if you are as hard a worker as you say you are, you can climb that ladder and the sky is the limit.
And because you don't have a computer science degree you are going to have to REALLY focus on demonstrating impressive results on your resume. Building your resume is your new project. You have a family to support and I know what that is like so I really want to help you get there, I'm going to put HONEST effort into giving you a path for you to follow in order to find your way to maximum success.
I also love the fact you are going to put in 56 hours a week - this is the work you'll need to do to begin cause you are going to have to hustle.
Continue with Udemy courses. Live and breath them for now, don't worry TOO much about projects on your own. Why? Because programming is the easy part of software development, the hard part is writing things elegantly, NOT re-inventing the wheel, using and learning libraries and frameworks out there. Learning bad habits is what many programmers do. Don't. The next great projects to do is:https://www.udemy.com/how-to-start-a-youtube-channel/
And keep doing these. Churn them out. Live and breath them.
Secondly, start your presence in communities on the web, this is the harder and annoying part (at first). Create a stack overflow account and study how it works, this is a project in it's own right. Start posting and telling people the situation your in, find the right channels/forums to do that. The main thing is to become a part of contributing to an open source project as soon as you can. Find out where a person like you fits in and start slugging away. You gotta start your hustle in order to find what VALUABLE projects there are out there.
Next, start a presence where you live. Join communities, look what is taking place in your town. Go on MEETUP.COM and look at what they got. Join ANYTHING computer science related. Machine learning, data science, security, etc. The main reason is because you want to network. Make relationships. Talk to people. This is SINGLE HANDEDLY the best thing you can do in landing a job. The old cliche, "It isn't what you know, it's who you know" really holds water.
I'm a member of OWASP, look it up. Become a part of something like this. Web Security is a LUCRATIVE AS F&*#( field. It isn't for everyone, it's hard and dorky. But if you can excel at it you stand to make hundreds of thousands.
Next, start thinking of USEFUL websites you can create. Don't focus on making money. Make something useful and cool. Think what YOU could use. Buy a domain, and create it. Make 3 if you can. Make them look NICE. Start a blog, write about your journies.
Once you put in a solid 3-4 months of this sort of hustle, you should be ready to start working (you may earlier). Find a head hunter to do the leg work for you. Get on Indeed.com monster jobs or whatever is out there these days and spend and hour a day throwing out resumes.
But you have to find a field in software that you enjoy, or you might burn out. Personally, I hate web development. Test the waters in all areas. I tend to favor C++ and C# or Java jobs. I like my object orientated programming. For now, focus on web, but branch out.
Also, keep a finger on the pulse where the industry is going. I'll tell you where it is going currently: Data science, machine learning, web and mobile. As your journey unfolds you can start looking for bigger fish to fry. This is 3 or 4 years down the road.
Go buy a NICE notebook. A journal. Hard cover:
https://www.amazon.com/BookFactory-Black-Journal-Writing-Notebook/dp/B00J7SDKSA?ref_=fsclp_pl_dp_3
Don't us an online journal. PAPER. Write in it. Write what you talked about on forums that day, what you're thinking. What you did that day. Where you are going. It may sound stupid and useless but it's not. It's psychological and as time goes on you'll see why.
Lastly, and this is the most important thing of all, DON'T look at all the work you have to do and become overwhelmed, this is gonna be a psychological game for you. One step at a time my friend. ENJOY this process. I know this path can seem daunting and if you look at it, it's gonna be nerve wracking. Chip away a little bit each day. And even if some days you can't put in 7 hours, then put in 1 hour. Think SOME progress is better than NO progress.
Also, don't get discouraged if you work for a place that sucks. Do it for a year or two and get out. Not all places are equal.
I used to do this. I've fought my own demons on a path similar to this. I put in so much work I'd actually be sweaty by the end of the day hahha. But remember!!! Things won't always be this way. Over time you will make much more money with each year that passes. Eventually you can relax and rake in the bucks.
I won't say how much I make, but it's goood. I work 7 hours a day with 30 days vacation. I have the ability to make my own hours AND work from home. They also give me education budget. 10s of thousands of dollars to put toward a degree if I want. There are places like this around. If you become good enough in your field, you really have a lot of clout.
This is a fun field to be in. Enjoy it! Teh work is worth it. You can make 100s of thousands if you work hard. I really hope this is helpful.

What to keep
Keep anything related to taxes for at least 5 years. This is important for verification, as well as possible audits.
Keep anything related to bank accounts, credit cards, loans/mortgages, pay stubs, and other financial stuff for as long as the account is active, plus at least one fiscal year.
Keep any bills, even after they've been paid, for at least a year. You need them to contest charges, and often information on bills is used for identity and account verification.
Keep all identification records (IDs, SS cards, birth certificates, passports, official change of address forms, etc.) in a safe, secure location that can still be accessed at need. Don't carry them with you (except driver's license), or you risk losing them and giving someone an easy way to steal your identity.
Keep everything having to do with your house, apartment, car, boat, or any other large property that you own/rent and have to register or pay taxes on, for as long as you own/rent it.
Keep the warranty info and proof of purchase for any expensive things you own, for the duration of the warranty.
Keep copies of any personal medical documentation, unless you are covered by a provider that uses an electronic medical record. And even then, it's good to have a paper copy for backup and personal reference.
It's also a good idea to keep a copy of anything that you have signed, for as long as is relevant.
And of course, if you ever get involved in any sort of legal trouble, audit, lawsuit, divorce, or anything along those lines, KEEP EVERYTHING.
The bottom line is: If you can imagine a plausible reason why you might need it in the future, for reference or verification or proof of something or evidence or anything else, you should keep it. If you have a good file system, it won't take up much room or time, and you'll be very happy you did when that future situation comes up.
What to keep it in
If you only have a few people's papers to worry about, I suggest one of these or something similar. It's a latchable bin or box with built-in rails for hanging folders. If you are worried about security, it might be worth getting one of these, a fireproof (and waterproof) safe. It won't keep someone from walking off with the entire safe, but it prevents casual pilfering, and protects your important documents in case of a fire or flood.
Drawers or file cabinets are useful for larger organizational systems, but a household will almost never need something that large, and they tend to be bulky and hard to move around.
Do not, under any circumstances, try to store anything medium- or long-term in open paper trays. They won't stay organized, as it's too easy to just toss stuff on top, and if you need to move it around it'll just end up in a pile somewhere.
How to organize it
First, get some hanging folders for general categories and file folders for subcategories. They are very cheap. You can get different colors for fancy organization and scrapbooking, but it's probably not worth it. As long as they have tabs for writing labels on, you should be fine.
That's all you need. Well, besides the box (and a pen). There are lots of organizational system kits that you can buy for loads of money with colors and stickers and indexes and charts and fancy little view windows, but all you really need are some folders and a place to put them.
Start out with some general categories: Medical/Insurance; Credit Cards; Bank Accounts; Taxes; Bills; Rental/house/car/mortgage stuff; Identification papers; Warrenty/owner's manual info. That sort of thing. And in each category, make a file folder for, say, each bank account, or each credit card account, or each person's medical info, or each company that sends you bills. This takes very little time to set up, but makes it a lot easier to find things when you need them.
The thing to remember when setting up such an organizational system is this: Do what makes sense to you. You're the one who is going to have to remember how to use this system in the future, so file things in a way that makes intuitive sense at the time. If all of your credit and checking and savings and mortgage are through the same bank, maybe the bank should be your major category and each of those accounts should be a subcategory. If you would rather think of it as "things I own" and "things I owe" then that works too. If you want to get rid of subcategories entirely and give everything its own folder in alphabetical order, that's cool. Whatever makes sense to you, do that. And once you have a system, try not to make any drastic changes. You'll have a hard time remembering whether to use the old or new system, and that causes confusion, which leads to apathy, which leads to everything in a giant unorganized pile.
Where to put it
Ideally, somewhere that's near enough to the door or mailbox that you won't just toss things on the table to file later, but out-of-the-way enough that it's not an obvious target if someone breaks into your house. On a shelf is better than in a closet. Again, the important thing is that it's convenient enough that you'll consistently file things rather than leaving them "for later."
And finally
As OP said, it's also a very good idea to have a trashcan right next to the door, or even right under the mailbox, where you can immediately toss anything that isn't worth keeping (junkmail, mailers, credit card offers, etc.). Anything with sensitive info should be shredded or torn up first, of course.
For appointments, I recommend getting a slashproof bag with locking cable. Once you've received the cash, test it for counterfeits. Then put it (and other valuables) in the bag, and lock the bag to the plumbing under the bathroom sink.
For traveling between locations, use a money belt or a stash bra. I recommend keeping a decoy wallet with some cash and expired cards in it, so that if you are mugged, you can give them your decoy, while keeping the rest of your cash safe.
For storing cash at home, I'd make one or more "pipesafes" with some black iron pipe. Wrap and band the cash, then put it in a fire resistant bag. Then put it in the pipe, and plug the pipe with a pair of "test plugs". You can see what I mean at this instructable for making a survival cache with PVC pipe.
I recommend using black iron pipe instead of PVC because it provides some fire resistance, but you can use PVC pipe instead. You can find black iron pipe at hardware stores, and "test plugs" can be ordered online or purchased through plumbing supply stores.
Split up your money among several "pipesafes" in different locations around your apartment. That way, if you're ever robbed, the thieves may find some of your money, but they probably won't find all of your money. The best places to hide your pipesafes will vary from location to location, so you'll want to size them to fit in your preferred hiding spaces.
Be sure to write down your pipesafe locations somewhere! You will forget where they are!
I recommend storing them as a note in bitwarden, then give your bitwarden account info to a trusted friend or relative. That way, if you die or get sick/injured, your loved ones can find them and access your funds.
Why not a safe, you might ask? A safe can also work. However, thieves know to look for safes. If the safe is portable, they can just tear it out of the wall and walk out with it.
If the safe is heavy enough to prevent easy transport, then it will be a pain the butt for you to move as well. Most sex workers are young, and move or travel frequently. Pipesafes can be moved relatively easily. Plus, you could leave them behind if need be, as they're not that expensive to make.
How much cash should you keep on hand? That will vary depending on your circumstances and risk tolerance.
Personally, I would first build up a cash emergency fund of about $5 K for unexpected expenses, like car repair, "get out of dodge money" (stalker, legal action), medical bills, etc. Top up this fund as you make payouts from it.
Next, I would pre-pay a $5 K retainer with criminal defense attorney who has successfully defended a number of sex work cases. If you're ever in legal trouble, the cops may freeze your assets, making it difficult to hire someone to defend you. Prostitution / solicitation cases cost between $5 - $25 K to defend, so pre-paying at least enough to get started is a good idea.
Eventually, however, you'll probably want to deposit much of your cash in a bank account. If you ever want to purchase a house or car, having an established history of regular cashflow will be necessary. A bank account also makes it much easier to interface with the rest of the financial system.
However, any funds you deposit will become known to the IRS. So you should expect to pay taxes on those funds. You'll need to set aside around 30% of those funds for tax payments.
As an anti-money laundering and anti-tax avoidance measure, banks are required to report cash deposits / withdrawals (called a Cash Transaction Report for CTR) greater than $10000 to the government. Most banks have systems that send these reports automatically, electronically, along with your tax information.
Bank staff can optionally flag and any cash transaction as "suspicious", known as a Suspicious Activity Report (SAR). For example, they might flag a deposit as "suspicious" if they think it was artificially structured to avoid the reporting requirement. (For example, making four deposits of $2499 in a 24 hour period might cause them to make a SAR.)
Due to previous government crackdowns on politically unpopular groups (gun dealers, payday loan vendors, sex workers), banks and other financial institutions are particularly skittish about providing services to sex workers.
So, if you suddenly start making a lot of cash deposits, the bank will likely ask you the source of your funds. If you don't have a good answer, they may close your account. So, be sure to have a plausible story for the source of the cash before you start making significant deposits.
Brokerages, currency exchanges, precious metals dealers and other financial institutions have similar Know Your Customer / Anti-Money Laundering regulations.
For me it was finding a type of notebook that worked for me. I tried a Leuchtturm type notebook and didn't like it (unpopular opinion, it seems) because I'm a bit of a perfectionist and not being able to remove pages cleanly bothered me. Also as a lefty it wasn't the most comfortable.
Then I tried a spiral-bound notebook from Muji and the paper was great and I enjoyed it for awhile but it still wasn't quite flexible enough for me.
Eventually I found out about the discbound system and fell in love with it. Super customizable and flexible. Pages can be easily removed and reordered. You can also take the pages out if you want to write without the discs getting in the way. I love it. I also am able to put in dividers to make different sections for even more organization which is a huge plus for me. I use the cover from the Martha Stewart collection and then have a discbound punch that I use to punch sheets out of this notepad from Rhodia. It works perfectly for me and keeps me motivated because it fits all of my preferences.
Sure.
Rhodia pads: Most people will mention these. Extremely smooth, very fountain pen friendly. So smooth, however, that inks like Noodler's Black that are formulated for crappy paper take forever to dry on it. They also come in books. Most people get used to the dots and never go back.
Clairefontaine: I'm not familiar but people mention them a lot and they seem like a very economical choice. I think they're more popular in Europe as school notebooks.
Midori: The Japanese don't mess around when it comes to writing. While basically naked compared to Leuchtturm or Moleskine, these have buttery smooth paper that while thin, feels fantastic to write on and doesn't bleed. There's a coveted cotton version (important because cotton is archival and good for watercolor) but I've never been able to track one down. It doesn't help that the online american outlets are poorly translated and usually don't know what they're packing since they look the same. See also: Apica
Leuchtturm 1917: A great journal or idea book, basically a Moleskine with better paper and perks. I used this as a daily journal. The pages are thin enough that you get ghosting especially with darker black inks but I write on both sides anyway.
If you're looking for a sketchbook I've spent a little too much time researching them and I think Stillman & Birn are really the one and only choice. Not only are they cheap by a price/sheet ratio but the quality is outstanding - extremely durable binding that tolerates being turned inside-out, thick paper with a variety of finishes so you can make a decision of what suits your medium. Epsilon or Gamma are the way to go for pure line ink work, though I've gotten away with light washes.
Hope this helps, enjoy your pen.
From some experience, realtor's lock boxes work well but are a pain to put keys into/take keys out. You can find a bunch of time-lock safes which are nice and easy but they take away a fun aspect of the keyholder having direct control over the key. The perfect option seems to be the ChronoVault but that is very expensive so I haven't tried it.
About some of the other devices. When I am in chastity I like to be completely trapped. Even if I tried my best, I don't want to be able to get out. The above 3 items work well and are relatively foolproof unless you know how to pick locks. I don't like the plastic locks because they are pretty easy to remove and re-do.
I hope this helped.. Good luck!
Started creating my own Amiibo coins thanks to some inspiration gained from seeing the work of a few of you on this server. Figured I'd share what I've created thus far in case anyone is interested! Here’s a link to the PSD template. Please forgive the fact that the Super Smash Amiibos aren't all grouped together because I started just creating the BOTW-compatible Amiibos first, then decided to keep going :P
The coins are 1" in diameter. Used a 1” circle punch to cut them out and housed them inside 30mm coin capsules with the included fitted foam inserts. Going to color code the rim of the foam so that I can easily identify the Amiibo series when they're in the case.
Have some 1” plastic counters on the way to provide some rigidity to the images and "fill out" the capsule a little better. Excited to get it all finished up so they can be put to good use!
Being the cheap ass I am, I went looking for a better deal on coin cases...I found this:https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07CNDTYC6/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?smid=AI5NMG8XBYKC1&psc=1
I will let you know if the 30MM works out, and if the cases are any good once I get them. I like that the foam comes in multiple sizes. I only have a B/W printer, so that will have to do...It won't do the art justice, but it's better than what I have now.
And thanks for the awesome guide! Coin cases are a great idea I never would have thought of!
Help her with getting those documents, first and foremost. Set up a weekly coffee date with her to sit down and make phone calls and go through all the steps/strategize. Don’t do it all for her — involve her and show her how to make informational phone calls, etc. introduce her to the adult process of “red tape”, since her mom clearly never wanted to do it.
Set her up with one of these:
Master Lock 7148D File Box, 0.49 Cubic Feet, Black https://www.amazon.com/dp/B002ONB4GA/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_g6.rDbTHS3K9T
Get her started on all her basic “life documentation” that usually a parent would handle — SS card, birth certificate, ID card, (and copies of all the above), passport if possible.
Collect any old medical and dental records from childhood. if mom doesn’t have these, you can usually have them re-released to you. If she can she should ask her mom about basic medical history — diagnoses, surgeries, cause of death, on both sides of the family. Take notes.
Make sure she’s current on all shots and vaccines. Planned Parenthoid and other low income clinics are great.
Get any documentation of grades and academic performance from high school/middle school/grade school. High school diploma or GED certificate.
If she’s out of the house for good — like if her mom is actively hostile or abusive — she should collect any other important family information before she goes. Contact info for extended family members, special photographs, etc.
If she’s of age, get her signed up for SNAP/food stamps and local youth/low-income public transportation card.
Help her open her first checking account. Debit card. No credit cards. Warn her away from debt.
Prepaid basic cell phone. Cheap laptop or ipad+keyboard. Login info for her bank account. Link the phone with a Venmo and PayPal account for easy money transfer, if you’re going to be helping her get on her feet.
You should also look into local (in your town or the town she’s headed to) youth support services/social workers. She might be able to get a caseworker. There are usually programs that will help with tech literacy, putting together resumes/starting the job hunt, signing up for classes, etc. Your local community college should be able to point you in the right direction.
If she’s still in high school — see if she has any teachers she likes, or school counselors. You want to surround her with as many supportive adults as possible and you should all be talking to each other. Ask if she has any favorite/supportive aunties or neighbors.
Ideally, having her in therapy would be great so she can figure out next steps but it’s pretty expensive. Look up the Open Path Collective for local low-fee options.

Have a very good job and play as a hobby?
Here is how I manage mine. I ran up some credit cards on stupid crap. I took fun money and a bunch of studying the game to the table, then played solid recreational poker for side income and paid off said credit cards. Now that I have paid off the debt I do notice a problem of a lot of extra cash laying around. For this pesky germ ridden cesspool of bills I place them in this http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B005K6JQXQ/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 it is a beautiful way of distancing myself from the germs....
For tracking I use Poker Manager Pro on my phone, so my SO and Mom shut up about me playing too much when I can show them an exact profit.
I will let you know how managing this bankroll goes now that I don't have to just ship it to Mastercard every big score.
Edit: clarifying, and helping some super clever r/poker users get the joke...
Get a lock box, or a cash box they'd use in stores. You can get them from Office Depot. They're plain plastic or metal boxes that come with combination latches or keys. You can usually pull out the slats or trays and line it with foam, velvet, contact paper, whatever you like (anything is better than the bare metal. Then you can just slip it in a drawer, under your bed, or in a close and even if someone comes across it, they can't get into it.
It'd probably be best to store insertable toys in their own little bags just so soft one don't end up sticking or ones with batteries don't end up leaking if the batteries go bad.
Clean them everytime after, but refer to the suggested methods from each individual manufacturer so you can don't damage them and ensure they last long.
Here are some links of stuff I'm talking about.
Good luck!
^(Edit, formatting)
I'd recommend getting a small lock box, rather than a more traditional safe. A lot of them are combination-based, rather than keyed, and they're a fairly cheap way to secure money. This link is to Amazon -- lock boxes under $25 with 4+*. It can be broken into with the right tools but it takes time and effort.
And some of these options are portable but big enough to store cash only or some, like this one, could store a lot of valuables. I have this one and while it's a bit heavy (about 1 1/2 lbs) it fits easily/comfortably into a tote purse, backpack, or a nice laptop case (the sort with a second pocket for books). It's also semi-waterproof, if you want to carry around a water bottle, but you should definitely plug up the cord access hole if you do that. Mostly it can be banged around a lot so I can take it anywhere, which is the whole reason I have it.
Edit: To clarify.
No problem! This is my favorite. I should add that while they’re a bit more expensive than your regular notebook/notepad, they’re totally worth it. The paper is really good quality... and of course there’s the delightful dot grid! If you try them out, I hope you like them as much as I do 😊
My fiancé is purchasing these Masterlock boxes for his groomsmen and filling them with little things that would be useful to each, like very bright flashlights, nice socks (not necessarily for the wedding), a gift card for half the value of the suit they'll purchase at a department store, and a few other things. Link bc I'm on mobile: Master Lock 5900D SafeSpace Portable Safe, Gunmetal Grey https://www.amazon.com/dp/B005K6JQXQ/ref=cm_sw_r_sms_c_api_MX7JxbJFH7DS3
alright it might not seem like much of the same thing but coming from being a tour guide there is one thing I know.. Paperwork. I had a TON of paperwork as a tour guide and in your job.. you will also... trust me when I say.. even though you won't be on the road you will need THIS
I even conferred with my wife who works in a ton of offices and she agrees :p
as for what I want well honestly Bacon sorta... however if you don't have prime then
I'd look really cool adding this new Top hat to my collection :D
I don't know of any starter packs on Amazon, although you can get them from Goulet, so you'd probably have to do it piece by piece. Amazon also doesn't tend to have the best prices on fountian pens and accessories and isn't known for packaging inks super securely, so that's worth considering as well. From Amazon I would recommend a Pilot Metropolitan (too many Safaris on amazon are fake), a bottle of either Pelikan 4001 or Pilot Iroshizuku ink, and a Rhodia pad
when I read this I got a bad feeling, and sure enough, you've posted in r/rbn before. :(
I'm sorry about your situation and can empathize. A lot of chain department stores sell lockboxes, like the kind tools are kept in. they aren't subtle or cute, but they do the job. amazon has some stuff, too, that might draw less attention: Vaultz Locking Personal Security Box, 7.75 x 7.25 x 10 Inches, Black (VZ00102-2) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B004Q86PNI/ref=cm_sw_r_other_apa_kGZwybJQ9V7EZ
best of luck!

That’s what I have... it’s really hard to engrave. It’s makes it indestructible but hard to stamp. I wouldn’t recommend.
I think I’m going to get this to replace it if I can’t get it engraved well. CryptoCurrency https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07CLMK3WJ
If I end up with enough value stored in those words I’ll get a safe deposit box or a permanent safe to store it in.
> 1) How do I put the lock on? Is it easy? are there instructions? and what if he gets erect while I'm trying to put it on?
The lock itself will be the easiest part, assembling the cage is harder. Typically you assemble the base ring behind the balls, slide the cage on in front of the balls, and there's a pylon you slide the lock through that connects it all. If he gets erect, either wait it out or "discourage" it (ice, pain on it or elsewhere, etc).
> 2) Is it realistic to make him wear it for an entire week at a time if it is his first time?
His first time in chastity, a week may be pushing it. His first time with a keyholder, see if he has had it on before and on his own.
> I'm busy during the week so I can only see him once a week
> 3) Should I keep in contact with him during the week?
> 4) Are there two keys? Should he get to keep one just in case for emergencies?
Lumping all this together. Get Kik, Skype, or just good old text messaging to keep in contact. Since this is at least new to you, I recommend it. Some guys like no contact during lockup, some do, err on contact.
As for an emergency key, those are generally considered a good idea. I'd recommend a realtor lockbox he can keep the key in that you set the code for. Though I have seen more portable solutions like those numbered tags through a Tic Tac container holding the key (can't get to the key without breaking a uniquely numbered seal).
> 5) Okay the big question. What happens when I let him out? Should I make him masturbate in front of me? or give him a handjob? I wouldn't be comfortable going further than this (like the prostate massage etc).
This answer can vary from person to person and is up to the two of you.
Just bought a house! Now I'm looking for a document safe that protects from fire, water, and unauthorized access. Wirecutter recommends Honeywell 1104. Online reviews suggest that it's reliable against fire and water, but I've read complaints about the hardware, suggesting that it's either easy to break into or the key will break. In light of those complaints, I'm reluctant to get this safe.
Any suggestions? Thank you!
(I also plan to get a safe-deposit box, but I want a home safe because it's important to me to protect and have reasonably easy access to passports and copies of important docs.)
The other option is u could get a Smart padlock and a box to lock your keys in. Then your GF just sends u one time use codes if she feels like u deserve some freedom. Then u FaceTime or Skype so she can watch u lock them back up again. This option has a bit more expensive a start up fee but would be cheaper in the long run depending on how often she lets u out.
Smart padlocks range from like $40-$100 depending on which one u get, and you’ll need a lockbox like this to use too Stalwart 75-005 Metal Storage Lock Box, 12" https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B0143BZHWW/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_DtzQAbPF85R1B
For counterfeit bills, you can just get one of those testing pens that you've probably seen some stores use. I'm pretty sure Staples carries these in store if you want to just pick one up locally. Those are plenty good enough. You're not going to get a master counterfeiter trying to buy your old bike.
For the transfer, I don't know about NJ, but in PA there are "Auto Tags" places all over that function as notaries and will handle everything for you: title transfer, DMV registration, etc. However, they do charge their own fees on top of whatever the normal DMV fees are, so you'll have to make sure the seller is ok with that. Also, at least in PA, you must have proof of insurance to register, so make sure the seller has contacted an insurance company beforehand and has it ready to go.
I have had good results with Gibson http://smile.amazon.com/Markings-C-R-Gibson-Leather-MJ5-4792/dp/B003M8GWI6/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1409237956&sr=8-1&keywords=markings+gibson
My go to ink to abuse paper is Bay State Blue, and even that ink from a fine tip I found looks OK. The ink and nib choice variations are huge. The same ink in a Kaweco Sport with EF bleeds through, but a Kaweco black draws a needle sharp line with no feathering or bleeding at all. I also have good luck with Midnight Blue as well as Black Swan. Also, the Gibson site often has discounts and sales that can drop the price 15-20%.
Another journal with good fountain pen recommendations
http://smile.amazon.com/BookFactory%C2%AE-Black-Banded-Journal-Diary/dp/B00J7SDKSA/ref=pd_sim_op_1?ie=UTF8&refRID=066DTQMV8ZGDD6GVK75K
Might be worth a try.
The TWSBI Diamond 580AL is a great pen, piston filler and demonstrator for £58.99. That would also give you about £11 free for some ink and maybe a Rhodia dot pad staplebound or wirebound.
If you wanted to get a couple of inks and writing pad then you could go for the slightly cheaper TWSBI Diamond 580RB £46.99 leaving you £23 to spend on ink and paper.
If you wanted to push the £70 to the limit and just get a classy pen with a solid 18kt gold nib for £72.72. It wouldn't leave you anything over for ink or writing pads but it would be a classy pen.
The other option would be to go the cheap fountain route and buy 2 or 3 Jinhao X450's off Amazon or eBay, they typically sell for around £6-10 each, then you have a lot more to spend on ink and writing pads. If you go the Jinhao route then I would avoid the 250 range, they are fine nibs as opposed to the 450 medium nibs, and my experience are the fine nibs tend to be quite scratchy and I had one where the nib just wouldn't friction fit into the pen. I have 5x Jinhao X450's and not had a single problem with any of them.
a lockable safe shaped like a book could hold a smaller notebook
a safe for letter-sized documents
a cheaper document safe
In addition to increasing your privacy, some of these safes provide water-proofing and fire-proofing for your journal. On the other hand if a burglar visits your home (or your have a druggie in your family) she will assume the safe is full of valuables and steal it.
Here's an example for backing up raw footage,
Shoot footage on SD cards. Copy all the files to 2 different hard drives and store at the office. Bring the SD cards home and store in a fireproof/waterproof container with silica gel (prevents condensation).
Raw footage doesn't change and is too large to upload to the cloud, but your project files are small and change frequently.
Install Dropbox onto laptop and desktop. Save project files in Dropbox folder.
Dropbox syncs automatically and has versioning.
I don't backup my scratch/cache files. If something happens, they can easily be recreated after linking your raw footage back to your project file.
I'm speaking as a one man crew. I'm sure there are better ways to do it for large studios.
Craigslist. Meet during the day in a coffee shop/restaurant or inside of a mall where you know there are security cameras. Parking lots should be avoided simply because it allows for an easy exit if they try to grab and go. Make sure YOU pick the place. Take a friend as well. If they don't show up with the exact amount of money you agreed upon just walk away.
Count the money several times and buy yourself this to make sure it isn't funny money.
If the buyer starts giving you shit for checking the currency don't worry about it, you'll never see that person again. Don't hand over the goods(which your friend is holding) till you got the full amount and have checked/counted it.
After your suggestions my current amazon cart for her is:

Hand Lettering for Relaxation: An Inspirational Workbook for Creating Beautiful Lettered Art
Strathmore 300 Series Drawing Pad, Medium Surface, 9"x12" Glue Bound, 50 Sheets
Rhodia No.16 A5 6 x 8 1/4 80 Sheet, Dot Pad.

Pilot Parallel Pen 2-Color Calligraphy Pen Set, with Black and Red Ink Cartridges in 2.4mm Nib size and 3.8mm Nib size with extra 12 assorted colors cartridges and 12 black cartridges. I assume the cartridges are not dependent on nib size as that would be infuriatingly stupid. Only dependent on the brands pen circumference? Correct me if I am wrong on that.
Hopefully that's pretty comprehensive but as far as speedball goes these are the texts I've found:
Speedball Textbook 24th Edition for $8.67.
Speedball Textbook: For Pen and Brush Lettering, 20th Edition for $113.35.
The Speedball Textbook, a comprehensive Guide to Pen and Brush Lettering, 23rd, Twenth-Third Edition for $51.01 new.
Did you have a specific edition in mind? A lot of the ones I'm seeing on amazon vary greatly as shown above.
Get childproofing on at least one of your house doors so she can not lock you out. A flip lock has helped prevent my kid from leaving the home from my main door, and I've got child proofing on the lock for my second door which he can not operate yet. For inner doors use the Door Monkey high up that she can not reach (no installation needed for these). Also, consider getting a key lock box for your house key for the day she figures out how to bypass the child locks and locks you out. I've got mine in the garage so it isn't exposed to the elements. I've got a family member who was locked out by their kid so I learned from that!
One thing that has worked really well with my son is that I'll ask him (if i.e. he is refusing to leave the park), if he wants me to carry him or if he wants to walk, or i.e. if he wants to put on his shoes or if he needs me to. He'll usually want to do it himself then even if he'd been objecting before.
Another thing I learned from a family member is that you need to be careful how you let your kid treat you (and be aware that your kid is watching how you treat others and doesn't understand sarcasm at this young age). For example, I used to let my son take my tablet any time he wanted to play with it when I was using it (because I would just go to the laptop then so it wasn't a big deal to me). But then he started taking things from other people -- now I require him to ask me politely for it, and wait for me to hand it to him instead of letting him just take it.

> Doesn't steel rust? Besides, is it really a concern to spend like $20 for a couple of titanium plates to store what could potentially be worth thousands of dollars? But yeah sure, anything works. Just write it somewhere durable, and not paper.
We're talking about the relative cost-effectiveness of two products on the basis of the amount of time they can resist a professional attack. One safe can resist for three seconds, the other safe can resist a for 900 seconds. The second safe offers superior resistance for less money per second.
If all you care about is keeping your retarded kids from deepthroating your Glock, you'd be better off keeping it in one of these 12 dollar boxes with a mediocre padlock.
While not pretty, a [Clipboard Storage box] (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B002MCZA2C/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_KZSbAb249Z7H4) would make an inexpensive and very useful gift, especially if you’re giving them to multiple players. We got one for our tech-challenged players and they’ve usedit for years: Holds a notebook, pens and even a little dicebag. Fill it up with a world map, a custom sheet and some trinkets to top it off. I use one of these. You set your own combination, lock it to your car and you're good to go. It even works with cars like a prius with smart keys, just don't lock it in a place to close to the door otherwise someone could just walk up and put their hand in the door to open it.

Get a lock. I used to leave my keys in a tire or hide them somewhere but I didn't want to push my luck. I've been using one of these for a few years and it works great:
https://www.amazon.com/Master-Lock-5400D-Set-Your-Own-Combination/dp/B0002YP1VC/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1497976383&sr=8-1&keywords=surf+lock
Welll not the most interesting item but you should really have a fire safe to keep your super important stuff safe. (Will, power of attorney, passports, ss cards, savings bonds etc). I have one on my wishlist too bc I've been putting it off for 5 years and need to get my ass on it lol
i've got one of these lockboxes. it works pretty well, but read the reviews. the metal on the dials corrodes pretty easily from salt water, so i keep a can of wd40 in my car and a rag and spray it down periodically. it is big enough to hold an electronic key fob, so long as it isn't giant.
I know what you mean as I recently had this problem. I ended up going with this. I'm sure you saw it, and it's another one that has comment(s) about the keys. I think overall the safe is high quality and the key seems quite sturdy to me. I can't imagine breaking it like that one guy did. It's very heavy, but I'm quite happy with it.
Get scissors with a print they are easier to spot as yours. I would go with scissor more like this...

Personally I've always wanted one of these: https://smile.amazon.com/Whitecoat-MedInfo-Clipboard-Medical-Black/dp/B00C2EG826/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1525306865&sr=8-3&keywords=clipboard+medical
Also a nice set of pens like https://www.amazon.com/Pilot-Retractable-Premium-Roller-Dozen/dp/B001E6D3W6/ref=sr_1_5?ie=UTF8&qid=1525306908&sr=8-5&keywords=gel+pens will be clutch and they're on sale right now too!
Besides that, just lend an ear when she needs to rant after a long day. Prepare meals for her. Take her on dates. And don't get upset when she's working long days and has to come home and study. But honestly if y'all made it past M2, you're probably in the clear in terms of understanding her busy hours.
You the real MVP
I like the clipboards with internal storage so I don't have to worry about rain on my papers.
This is the one I use: Here.
Honestly, I like all the features it has; I can even keep a little whiteboard inside of it for diagramming things. I just kind of wish it had a little clip at the bottom to hold the bottom and top of papers since it gets kind of windy in the midwest and my papers fly all over the place.
same here with the gaybro friends. Hilarious and unfiltered.
Yeah I would just like to see more new content, be that in form of unique stories, physique shots, programming, maybe even a kind of best practices sort of thing. Like for example - I want to get a chair with arm rests and one of those serving trays for a clean surface and a small lockbox to keep all my daily pinning supplies as well as a MTWTF pill box available but not in sight of roommates or family that comes over. That way I can use the arm rest to rest my arm on while pinning delts, quads, maybe even VG/glutes if i can finangle it and then put everything away and it look decent and be secure.
Little shit like that
One of those foldable metal clipboards are helpful to keep everything together. I keep all my PHI on easily throw-away-able pieces of paper in the clipboard, and then a separate small notebook for notes I have on diseases, treatments, things to look up for the next day etc.
That way its just Clipboard for PHI crap, Notebook for Stuff to Learn.
What I need help with is how to organize my PHI half-sheets. Some residents have beautifully organized half sheets on their pts.. mine are always kinda scattered.

Glad you are coming to the hobby too!
Feathering can be caused by a multitude of issues:
Pen laying down too much ink - if the pen is a very wet writer, it will sometimes leave too much ink on the page, and it will be absorbed by the paper.
Bad paper - a lot of paper is not ideal for fountain pens. There are definitely some expensive papers that will work absolute wonders for making the ink look great, but some hp 32lb paper is really the way to go, especially for a beginner. After that, Rhodia is a very good choice.
Bad ink - different inks from different fountain pens react differently on paper. Noodler's specifically has an ink that is designed to not feather at all. (Noodler's X-Feather). Also, the Pilot Iroshizuku line is very well behaved from this aspect. I made a post about this just the other day. Give that a read, and see if it helps!
I guess that sounds like that could be pretty efficient.
When I was working back in computers, our store tested these out. No one really liked them, it was hard to organize.
This might be larger than you're looking for, but is designed to slide under a bed and accommodates a padlock or luggage lock. This one is smaller, but I'm not sure if it will fit a crop. You can use IKEA SKUBB series for easy dividers that will stay put. I recommend a soft cotton washcloth to wrap around any "clinkety" restraints and perhaps a soft cloth bag to stuff them in if you plan to be moving the box -- otherwise it might start to make noise.
The charging port is going to be tricky, but most of these are simple enough that you could drill a hole in the lid to pass the charger through.
Amazon best seller.
If the bonus pack at $8.30 (prime eligible) is beyond your means, they give them way at your local 7-11. Don't ask for it, 7-11 respects your privacy. Just reach across the counter and take the pen. The cashier will nod and give you a look that says, "I'm with you, the struggle is real"
My husband and I keep ours in a utility supply like case, I'd have to ask him for the link.
Edit: Got the link from hubby! 😊

For context:
> They're lockboxes. If you know the combination you can open it and get a key out for a unit. Realtors use them when they've got open units to let prospective renters in, and I guess AirBnB hosts are doing the same thing now. It's not uncommon to see one or two outside an apartment building, but this is just...unbelievable.
Thanks to /u/robertbieber for the explanation. Here's an Amazon link to better illustrate what those things are.
I feel pretty blessed in this aspect. My toys are usually in my dresser. My mom never comes in my room, and if she does, and then opens my dresser, she won't care. She knows.
Here's a couple locking boxes/chests from Amazon, that won't break the bank, you might look into:
Number 1
Number 2
Number 3
ten percent or so, which is pretty standard. i don't think any remaining banks still have the machines, so your other option is to get a coin counter machine and paper rolls and do it yourself. including all the time it will take on a little mini-machine like that.
or just pay the convenience fee (or as others mentioned, get it as a gift card...)
Good tip about the GPS.
I use something like one of these two things to keep an extra house key, emergency cash, my insurance info and expired license (as ID only of course) in the car. Hook it up to something hard to dismantle inside the car. way easy to just put some small locking box in there. costs under $25 and keeps that stuff safe from carwash and valet staff too.

To tack onto this it might be wise to keep all meds in a locking medicine cabinet that only you and your DH have the keys to. Not only will that prevent any accidents with your LO, /u/whtbrd, but it will also keep any guests- wanted or unwanted- from shopping around in your medicine cabinet [that way they can't steal any or tamper with any]. If anyone other than you or DH need something out of the cabinet either you or DH will go get it for them.
Poke around on amazon for a bit. It doesn't have to be something like this either, it could be something more like this, this, or even this or this as long as it locks well enough to keep unwanted people out. It doesn't need to be fancy. Don't even bring up the fact your worried that she might tamper with your meds to your DH, just tell him that your locking all the medications in the house- including yours- up so LO can't get to them and show him where the key is going to be kept.
Doesn't steel rust? Besides, is it really a concern to spend like $20 for a couple of titanium plates to store what could potentially be worth thousands of dollars? But yeah sure, anything works. Just write it somewhere durable, and not paper.
I have one that hand cranks and separates them into rollable stacks. My kids love it.
for those interested
It doesn't have to be huge, or expensive. Here's a fire-resistant lockbox on Amazon for $20. There's a bigger version on that same page for $30.
If you want off-site storage, call some local banks and ask what their lowest rate is for a safe deposit box and how big the box is. Most are around 3x5x12", enough to pack a lot of negatives in. You can sometimes find smaller banks that will rent them for $40-50/yr, but pricing varies a lot. You can sometimes negotiate a lower rate if you pay multiple years in advance. Just make sure to pay the annual fee, or they'll seize the contents, obviously.
You can back up your scans for free on Google Drive or Dropbox, up to a certain storage limit.
I think a Belkin WeMo inside of a lock box is going to be the best solution.
The lock box could have holes drilled at the top (just under where the lid would overlap when it closes) for the cable to run in and out.
Like others have said, roll the coins. You might want to look into a coin sorter if you have a lot of them, something like this automatically wraps them for you: http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B006J36V8M/ref=mp_s_a_1_1?qid=1462903210&sr=8-1&pi=SY200_QL40&keywords=coin+sorter&dpPl=1&dpID=414lwS39BgL&ref=plSrch

I use these. For 12 bucks you get 100 and a case and they fit perfectly.

Get a little lock box with a combination lock off Amazon. That’s what I did with my medications. Vaultz is a really good brand and cheap!
Something like this: https://www.amazon.com/Vaultz-Locking-Personal-Security-VZ00102-2/dp/B004Q86PNI/ref=mp_s_a_1_3?keywords=combination+lock+storage+box&qid=1572362658&s=office-products&sr=1-3
Yes, cool but for actual coin sorting you want one that is easier and faster to use, and drops the coins into rollers. While that one sorts, you'd still have to count out the coins and wrap them. Try this: https://www.amazon.com/Royal-Sovereign-Manual-Counting-QS-1/dp/B006J36V8M
I’ve been (foolishly) buying/ selling things on OfferUp and Craigslist for over a year without using or seeing a counterfeit pen. Recently, I went to buy something for $10 and the lady pulls one out! I felt so dumb because I never thought to use one sooner, but glad that I finally got the idea to get one.
I just picked this one up from Staples, they priced matched to amazon and 10% of the difference.

I can recommend this: Vaultz Storage
It’s like it’s meant for adult toys. Discreet, holds quite a bit, combination locks (no “where did I put that key?”), handles on each end and soft pads on the underside, so it easily slides in under the bed and away from curious looks.
This is what I use, it’s pretty good and I slide it under my bed. https://www.amazon.com/Vaultz-Locking-Storage-Inches-VZ00458/dp/B00I0HREBI/ref=pd_aw_fbt_img_3/139-2146243-4063213?_encoding=UTF8&pd_rd_i=B00I0HREBI&pd_rd_r=a1219119-352e-11e9-ba30-47bcd36847ea&pd_rd_w=BK4bY&pd_rd_wg=iyAnD&pf_rd_p=b98fa1a4-6e6e-4981-835c-7fb29e0f4dd2&pf_rd_r=1HQV4TP2CXSGY6CGWR2C&psc=1&refRID=1HQV4TP2CXSGY6CGWR2C
I'm almost positive this is what I use. I have 29 decks, the majority of which are sleeved. I'm just now getting to the point where it's getting too full. Definitely too much for what you need, though the brand Vaultz does make them in a lot of different sizes.
Just saying there's not a large barrier to entry to avoid rolling by hand.
Amazon has this one for $26 Prime with good reviews instead.
Is that the Rhodia paper with the 5mm dots?
Edit: Like this? It's been on my wish list, considering buying some.
We use this. We keep it under the bed. I got a better price under their warehouse deals. It was marked down because the label was torn. The chest was in perfect condition though.
Hey OP,
Could you send me a link to the bed fellas, I can't seem to find anything about it.
Also, these are nice. The price likes to double randomly, so make sure it's around $50 cad, not $100 cad. https://www.amazon.ca/gp/aw/d/B00EJZ4OPE/ref=ox_sc_saved_image_1?smid=A3DWYIK6Y9EEQB&psc=1
The second on looks exactly like what I am looking for, thank you very much!!
These guys are my go-to for fountain pen use, but there's loads of other paper that'll hold up. For cruddy recycled paper, inks like Noodler's X-Feather or modern iron gall inks are typically recommended, but I've not had personal experience with them.
I'll second the recommendation for getting better paper. I didn't think it'd make that much of a difference either, and than I picked some up and it really made the nib feel smoother and the ink behave better. A Rhodia dot pad can be had for less than 8 bucks. Yes, it might seem like you're "throwing money away", but if that's really how you feel, then why use a fountain pen anyway?
How about a couple Pilot Varsitys and a Rhodia pad of some sort? You won't be able to choose your ink, but it's a nice way to dip your toe into it.

Easy solution : buy a power bar with a timer, plug the router in it, put that in a metal locking box.

and some lettering stamps, works great and costs less
Very heartbreaking, sorry to hear, man.
I hold my most valuable cards (>$50) that aren't in decks in a fireproof/waterproof safe like this one:
http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B004IPR22C/ref=mp_s_a_1_25?qid=1462477798&sr=8-25&pi=AC_SX236_SY340_QL65&keywords=fire+water+safe&dpPl=1&dpID=41YoRllF8oL&ref=plSrch
What I started with: Stethoscope, sphygmomanometer or a sphygmomanometer for the lazy, pulse oximeter, reflex hammer, tuning fork, a pen light, notebook, Maxwell, pocket medicine, clipboard, 48 pens (of which I somehow only have 2 left), and finally a pack of decoy pens to hand out to people that need to "borrow" a pen but never give back.
Seriously where do all of my pens go??? It turns out half them went into my gf's bag x(.
What I was given or picked up along the way: scalpel, needle drivers, tweezers, scissors, various types of vicryl, bandages, gauze, alcohol wipes, surgical lube (that I took from the hospital when no one was looking ;) ), and a pocket CPR mask. I took a bunch of normal saline and IV kits as well but they don't fit in the bag.
I found it on Amazon!

Edit: Oop, looks like someone beat me to it!
I use fleshlights, which are larger toys at about 10" long and 4" in diameter. I also like buying larger bottles of lube because they're cheaper, so I needed a large toybox.
I ended up buying this - http://www.amazon.com/Master-Lock-7148D-Locking-Security/dp/B002ONB4GA because it was large, cheap ($15USD right now), and had a lock on it. Additionally, since it's meant for holding files, I think it looks a little less conspicuous. The lock and handle are kind of pieces of crap, but it's incredibly cheap still works, I'm satisfied with it for the price.
Don't search for safes, those are huge, heavy, thick, and made to withstand actual abuse. You just don't want people accidentally coming across a sex toy. Search lockboxes. They are boxes, with locks. Things like this.
Alternately, /u/bustnuts100's suggestion for a toolbox is a great one. My only concern would be that people might need a tool and reach for it.
I'd say to go with the lockbox, and if asked, just say it has some bullshit in it that you can say is sentimental but no one else would really care about other than you. Photos of your grandparents as kids or something.
Related side note / possible solution:
I always have a key storage box outside of my place. This way, friends or out of town guests can have access to my house when needed or I can let my self in if I get locked out. Plus I can take it with me when I move.
In your situation - if you live together for much longer - you could agree not to give out keys, but the code to the box when needed. Then change the code as needed to prevent access to those who should not have it.
Get a lockbox, scramble the code, take a picture without looking, and use Emlalock.
Honestly, if I were your keyholder, I'd keep you denied one day per grammatical error in your post. I lost count at 10, so just round up to two weeks in case I missed a few.
You're twenty-fucking-two; you're capable of writing properly.EDIT: Oh God I'm sorry, non-native speakers didn't even cross my mind. Still, using chastity as a motivator to improve your language skills might be something fun to try.
Get a safe or a lock box. Or do what I do and get both. Then put them in the lock box, then put that in the safe.
Its not guaranteed to stop you but it will slow you down.

These are great especially if you travel.
Plus if you're in your car with it and a cop has suspension they can't get into it with out a warrant.
Edit: sorry for the shitty link. It's the master lock key box, the kind you see out side apartment buildings

Hello, thanks for the contest.
My girlfriend and I have a very small business inside a elementary school (here in Panama kids should bring their food or buy it in kiosks inside the school), and we really need this:
Coin Cointer
Because we spend two hours a day counting coins. With these little kids, on recess time " It's raining pennies "
We got one of these - fits nicely under the bed.
Next, get a lock box like this. You can lock all sorts of keys in it! Use it for keys to handcuffs, a locking gag, whatever. He can lock things on you, go to work, and then text you the lock box code when he gets to work or whenever he feels like it.

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B002ONB4GA/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_PBVOAbA8Q8YSF I like this lock box
Can maybe get a pen like this https://www.amazon.com/Drimark-Dual-Detector-Bonus-351UVB/dp/B0053Y5Q8Y/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1522686440&sr=8-3&keywords=bill+authenticator+pen

Looks like you could use this
The cardboard box from Amazon. I also found a locking CD box (for many CDs). It's wood with metal edges, silver and black. Gosh, I think it's this one!
A locking toolbox could also work. Or purple trunk.
This isn't too far from the solution provided by what most folks on Emlalock.com use -- which is the Master Lock real estate one... https://www.amazon.com/Master-Lock-5400D-Set-Your-Own-Combination/dp/B0002YP1VC
In the case of the Emlalock (for self lockers) - they take a picture without looking, and upload that to the site, lock the key in, and spin the dials. Once the allotted time expires, the site shows you the picture of the key.
I did the same thing. I got this one and some hanging file folders from Amazon and keep several files such as health, auto, employment, taxes (one file per year), and so on. I don't have to worry about keeping things in order because I put the newest papers in the front of each file folder.
Yeah, it's a type of notepaper with dots instead of lines.
Specifically, this Rhodia paper
You want to make sure it’s also waterproof. Fires tend to get fought with lots of water which can ruin documents too.
I went with this 1 hour safe. It’s not cheap but it’s built like a tank.

Buy this and use it for your paper wallet https://www.amazon.com/ColdTi-Cryptocurrency-Storage-Anti-Tamper-Unbranded/dp/B077CYKHZ6/ref=sr_1_1?keywords=titanium+punch+crypto&qid=1569088595&sr=8-1
You just punch your 24 words into it and you will not lose them.
Ah it's spelled a little differently here's a direct Amazon link.
Rhodia Staplebound Notepads - Dots 80 sheets - 6 x 8 1/4 in. - Black cover https://www.amazon.com/dp/B003UCL77U/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_aJPTCb786NNRV
I think this is the smaller size ones you can get the larger ones if you look for them. They also are sold at a Michael's artscraft retail store if you have one near you.
The dimensions are 7.2 x 10 x 7.8 inches, and even though I got it at the local store, It didn't take much to find it on amazon for the same price. Here is the link: http://www.amazon.com/Vaultz-Locking-Personal-Security-VZ00102/dp/B004Q86PNI/ref=pd_sim_op_3?ie=UTF8&refRID=1KSQKPACK1YK02S4VQ8B
airbnb is a hospitality platform, like it or not their end customer commonly demands late check-in. all the reps i've dealt with were very professional, so maybe you were unlucky in speaking w a bad apple. i agree with others that you shouldn't use your 3 cancellations for this.
my question is: if you're superhost, why do you use instant booking? instant book pushes listings to the top of the results but not above superhosts.
and as others have mentioned, try this:
Master Lock 5400D Select Access Key Storage Box with Set-Your-Own Combination Lock, 13/32-Diameter Shackle, 1-Pack https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0002YP1VC/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_BnJ9yb2PZVPMM

There's no rule against you checking bills you get. There are markers (plenty others similar to this one) to help too.
I bought this for when I go surfing. I have never had any problems.
holy crap that is alot! well I didn't mention a price but I payed 39$ US for it I may plan on getting another for my high heels and latex stuff. You would want this link for canada.
You can get one of these lock boxes for keys. Drop your key in there and give him the location and combo. He can retrieve the key without you being there. Depending on where you live, you can put it somewhere away from your place like a bike rack a stair railing.
I made one: https://instagram.com/p/BYEIPVlHlxW/
I bought this Sunlite Gold Tec Front Rack, 26"/700c, Black https://www.amazon.com/dp/B002MKHR6G/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apip_BMO8ngFtfJywW and this Vaultz Locking Personal Security Box, 7.75 x 7.25 x 10 Inches, Black (VZ00102-2) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B004Q86PNI/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apip_wFngWCmqhqJbk and then just used some nuts and bolts (and drilled a hole) to put it all together!
You might want to invest in a counterfeit bill pen detector when you sell the MoBoard.

Just grab a cheap locking box to store your goodies in and stash the vape when you're not using it. When you are, it should be in your hands.
Or superglue a small piece of metal/plastic over the reset hole.

If you have the proximity thing, wrap the fob in foil first.
Get a lock box for $20, or link your landlord this:

I'm in the same situation. The Rhodia Dot and Muji notebooks.
I haven't had any issues, but I am not in a large city. I do carry a counterfeit pen that has a UV light on it. Normally, I check a few bills with the pen and look for the watermark or use the UV light.

A lockbox, similar to this or this. You leave a spare set of keys in there and it's only accessible by the pin code.
Like so
In seriousness though, it was probably more of a portable file cabinet like this
I'm in a similar situation. I use this, and keep it locked to my car-seat frame whenever I leave the vehicle. Fits cash, my wallet, cell phone, spare 9mm magazine, etc.

If you have a lot of coins, get one of these. It will pay for itself in the time it saves you. I do this every few months while watching a TV show and deposit the coins in my account.
If you go to WalMart you'd go to the stationery section and find the office stuff. Or probably the same place in Target.
I found a hand-crank coin wrapping machine on Amazon for $25
I believe the "Money Miser" coin sorter is electric but the manufacturer doesn't make new ones.
Take your car key (or clicker fob) off the ring, lock the doors. Place it in one of these (or similar). Lock it through your car door handle (or roof rack bar, etc.). That's what I do. Problem solved.

Had the same problem. Bought this: http://www.amazon.com/Master-Lock-7148D-Locking-Security/dp/B002ONB4GA/ref=sr_1_7?s=office-products&ie=UTF8&qid=1376007667&sr=1-7&keywords=large+file+box+lock
I've got a small file box, this one as a matter of fact. Everything else is scanned and kept on a dedicated 500GB drive for backup stuff, and then I also back both that and my computer up once a week.
I've been warring on cutting down the mail, so I'm anxious to see how that goes. I'm getting some bills through email, but I need to figure out which ones I've missed converting, and which ones I can't.

I had a jar of change that ended up being around $260 if I remember correctly. It took me about an hour to get it all rolled. Took it too my bank and got cash for it.
It is noisy as fuck using the coin sorter, but it works really well. The one I have is a manual one as well so you're spinning a handle to get shit done.
