This is my advice for European fashion

Scarves. Lightweight scarfs in colors and patterns can brighten up any "dull" outfit and are everywhere in Europe. Germany is nuts about them, but I have found nothing to help my wardrobe than an assortment of scarves. I like pashmina style scarves but it's really up to personal taste.

Converse. They can be worn with dresses, skirts, pants, or pretty much anything. Especially if you want to pair them with something a little flowy-er and you need something masculine to balance it out. I like to pair my converse with highly structured shorts. They are more comfortable than barely-there flats, but don't look as tacky as running shoes.

Get a pair of nice bootcut jeans. From what I noticed when I lived in England and traveled a lot, is that dresses and skirts seem to dominate, but jeans are still worn. Except they are nice, well fitting jeans. Try Levi Curve id jeans. Pricier but hold up longer and fit the curvier women. This way if you do feel like wearing trousers, you can and not look like a slob. Make sure they are dark wash as well.

Stock up on basics, like a couple solid color tank tops or shirts that fit you well (not too tight). If you have an array (white, black, purple, blue, red, etc.) then you can always pick up a skirt you like later and know you will have something to pair it with. I like target's selection. They are helpful because when you get to france you can always alter your wardrobe according to what people are wearing there but your basics will always work.

A casual blazer. Cardigans and blazers do basically the same function. But the blazer looks nicer. Generally people in European nations put a little more effort in to their appearance. You won't see people running to the store in pajama bottoms. I found that throwing a nice, well fitting, casual/unlined blazer makes even a jeans and t-shirt combo look better. You can recycle outfits frequently with no shame, people tend to have less clothes and repeat outfits more often than Americans.

Tights. Pantyhose, tights, stockings, grab a pair of sheer black and tan, and then an opaque black and/or grey to start. Tights are worn under dresses, skirts, shorts. Everything. A lot of people even wear sheer tan pantyhose under shorts or skirts, just because that is what they are used to. It's a lot more expected to see tights instead of bare legs.

Also, ditch the flip flops. If you must, invest in either a nicer looking birkenstock (like this http://www.amazon.com/Birkenstock-Womens-Kairo-T-Strap-Sandal/dp/B005GC7938) or a gladiator sandal, or any other type of sandal that are not flip flops. The birkenstocks are great for people who have high arches and need more support, but they are a warm weather item. To be worn with shorts or summery skirts and dresses. Paired with jeans, skinny or bootcut, tends to look silly/like you are going backpacking.

This is all just from my observations. Feel free to negate anything. They are just the wardrobe essentials I found to be the handiest. I always like to stay simple until I can gauge the trends of my area when I move and I want to fit in. Just try to look nice all the time. It's more expected. A little effort on hair and makeup and structured clothing (even if you have to go to a tailor) goes a long way.

Alternative to the Burton jumper

It's a tenner more (they're always in some kind of offer) and the difference in quality is significant. Good choice of colours, feels great and the fit is a little adjustable, too. If you wash it cold (30-40C) and then wear it straight after for half an hour (or as long as you want!) it will re-form around you. I use these in autumn and spring, too, and for work as a well as casual wear. They've earnt the praise in my eyes. £25

I can't find it exactly, but this is nearly the shirt I picked up from Debenhams recently. Light blue, good thick cotton, button down lapel, but white buttons. The thing to remember about the British summer is that it's often not that warm. Evenings on the beach with a stiff breeze or a park barbecue call for reduced layers but something with the thickness to bounce the wind off if you need it. I tend to keep my mouth shut for the shame of being told to "man up", but I bloody hate the cold and denying that summer isn't always warm has never worked for me. £36 (mine was £27 with an introductory offer)

BOTTOM

I can only support the H&M trousers choice

Be warned, the lack of sizing options means that they're likely to be a little long on guys up to 5'9". Not a problem for rolling up, but it takes the choice away if you ever want to wear them without cuffs. I use them as "throw away" chinos. Going to the park? Weatherspoons? A student night? If it's somewhere you're likely to get something spilt on you, grass stains or other concerns, I take the H&Ms out. £20

On the other hand, I wear these as a staple for when I'm not mucking around. They're likely to give way to shorts as the weather warms up, but get them measured and taken up in shop (free of charge) and the range of sizing and fit options means you'll get a great fitting pair of trousers out of it. £35

Pink and blue, I love them! I have a problem with shorts. Because I'm a shorter man (5'8", ladies) I struggle to find a pair of above-the-kness that actually sit above the knees. However, if you pick up a pair of these when you stop by uniqlo to buy trousers, and you're very nice to the always pretty lady behind the counter, there's a good chance they'll take them up a bit for you when they do your trousers. Pro tip. Light blue should not be warn with the light blue oxford shirt. £20

Belt me. A nice, plain leather belt for holding things up and tucking things in. I have a belt extremely simillar to this which I can't remember where I bought it; it has served me well, and when it wears out I shall buy another. £13

Belt me, too. Wear it with the same outfit as the above belt, and you've immediately changed the look. Switching small accessories like belt and shoes can help stave off an outfit becoming stale quickly. This belt is a little bit last season but I still like it. Also, it's cheap as chips. £13

SHOES

Sperrys of some form. This is non-negotiable; they won't let you down, and they'll make you a man, my son. I have oatmeal ones (I also like the look of the navy/dark brown styles), as I prefer lighter colours, but I don't know where to get them online as I picked them up from a local shoe shop for £35 because the box was hidden under all the shoes in the world and had been mis-priced as a result. Sometimes, I feel guilty about this, but then I look at my shoes and think damn, luck is sexy. Expect to pay £50-70 if you shop around.

Ok, not quite shoes but combine with the Sperry's for a look I'm still not sure if I like. I actually thoroughly reccomend next's sock range for a cheap way to inject colour in to your footwear. £12-15 for 5

A word on sandals: Be. Exceedingly. Careful.

No. You will look like a hippy. Some people like the flippity-flop look, but I'm not a fan. It just looks the wrong kind of laid back.

Definitely no. These sorts of sandals (and simillar) are probably comfortable, reliable and hardwearing, but beware: even without socks, you look like the kind of person who takes holiday planning way too seriously.

Awww, hell no. I don't even feel the need to justify this.

This is the very borderline of acceptable for me, although I am likely anti-sandal due to finding it very hard to pull them off (personally) and 90% of the time seeing others fail to do so. I'd say something like this with neat, clean lines and a solid build quality would work when justified by the environment (beach, some form of hiking), but otherwise avoid unless very confident. If you are going to wear them, please don't forget to clean your feet of any dodgy nails, skin or random stains. £70

This sort of thing also gets me going at the moment. Again, warnings about mixing blues here, but this is given more as an indication of the style than a specific pair. I think it's been mentioned elsewhere, but the smart suede shoes/shorts combination is really getting me going at the moment. Ankle/invisible socks are a must. £45

Pleasers really are the best for dancing, because they’re structurally made for it. I’m not huge into wearing heels but even I feel far more stable in my 6in pleasers than I do in my 2-3in heels I wear for fancy work events. Pleasers do make lower heels, but 6in is where I really felt the most comfortable and stable.

These are really close to what I have and the clear straps are generally more sturdy than pleather. The ankle strap is a must. They aren’t made by pleaser, but are really similar in style.

If you’re not into the clear style, these are made by pleaser (or a company associated with pleaser?). The straps are thinner and just don’t conform to your foot as well as the clear straps. I have them and they’re good enough, but I’d still go for the clear straps.

These are a little lower, but don’t be surprised if the 6in heels are much more comfortable.

Boot styles are the most stable, but they are expensive and really only worth it if you’re committed to investing in a good pair and intend to use them frequently.

I don’t pole dance myself (my body just doesn’t play well with it) but my studio offers it along with chair dance classes and lyra classes designed for heels, so I use them from time to time and lots of my friends have many, many pairs. You could try character heel styles, they literally are made for dancing, but the good ones are just as expensive as pleaser, if not more. Very stable though.

Edit: the heels you’re showing do not look up to the job, without knowing anything else about them, the shank and the heel look way to thin and not stable and I’d actually be worried about them snapping. Since there’s no platform, the shoe might be flexible (in a bad way) and your toes wouldn’t be protected in moves where you’re dragging your toe across the floor, or doing some kind of a spin (we’ve got moves in chair where we actually flip off the chair and land on our toes). The outsole is completely flat too limiting your motion, and is going to make certain moves look and feel completely unnatural. Having a slight turn up at the toe makes a huge difference.

First off, I LOVE your color palette. LOVE it. If I didn't already have my wedding planned, I'd steal it. :)

I may have spent too much time and effort putting together this post, oops! My shoe game is pretty good in the winter because I love boots, and boots are what you wear in the winter. I'll still wear some of my boots in the summer since it doesn't get too hot in Seattle most of the time. I need my shoes to be comfortable enough to walk in, so no crazy heels or flimsy sandals with cardboard soles. My job has no dress code, so I have no desire to own loafers, flats, or dainty heels.

Cold/wet weather shoes:

Black leather lace-up boots: No link, but it's a pretty typical combat-style boot. This boot summarizes my shoe aesthetic. You may notice I have a thing for lace-up boots after looking at the next few listed shoes.

Waterproof black leather lace-up boots: I wear these almost all the time during the winter because they're my warmest, most waterproof boots. They have garbage traction for anything frozen, though.

Heeled black leather lace-up boots: The heel is chunky enough for me to maintain my balance, and the sole is grippier than my waterproof boots. I feel like a badass bitch in these shoes.

Red suede lace-up ankle boots: Can't find a link, but it's the boots in this outfit. I looove these shoes. I saw them on my college's buy/sell page last year for $25 so I snagged them.

Black suede ankle boots: Just another ankle boot. Kinda fancy looking. I'm salty that I bought them for $40 more than they're listed now.

Pointy black leather ankle boots: I originally wanted Acne Jensens, but I wasn't about to drop that much money on a pair of shoes, not even used. So I got these used off of Poshmark. I feel like a badass witch in these shoes. They feel uncomfortably tight in the morning every time I wear them, but they stretch out over the day.

When winter rolls back around, I want to get a pair of the classic 6-inch Timberland boots or something like that. I could really use the traction and warmth for the rare occasion I'm trying not to slip on snow.

Warm weather shoes:

Black Nike frees: I wear this more often than I'd like to admit. They're very comfortable and don't look like complete garbage with my casual outfits.

Gray Vans: Just another casual sneaker.

Mint green converse: I got these originally because they were cheap at TJ Maxx, and I needed a new pair of flat shoes for lifting. I ended up replacing these with another pair (Asics Matflex) with a thinner and grippier sole, so now I wear these casually.

Black reef sandals: My go-to sandal in the summer. Rubber sole, elastic straps. Easy to put on, comfortable, and doesn't look like garbage. Not enough arch support for a long day of walking, though.

Rainbow flip flops: I've still yet to break these in to a point that they're comfortable. I like the arch support, though.
I'm currently searching for another pair of sandals with good arch support. I'm thinking of going down the Birkenstock route, but I'm open to other options.
I also like the aesthetic of all-black high-top converse, but I can't bring myself to buy another pair since they fall apart so easily.

Workout shoes:

Adidas Adipowers: My most expensive shoes, and they only serve a single purpose. Sob.

Asics Matflex: Flat, grippy, but a pain to put on. I wear them in the gym for anything but squatting.

Blue Nike pegasus: Good for running, makes me feel like I'm on a cloud.

Hey, we should be friends (along with lots of other ladies here)! I haven't found many women in my area don't have my same lifestyle of (hoping to be) fashionable by weekday, outdoorsy by weekend.

I gravitate toward a lot of PrAna tops and dresses (cute cut outs or styles that transition well for both), as well as Free People. Some of their products from the Movement line, or even just basics, actually hold up surprisingly well. I've worn some of the FP Movement active crop tops on climbs, and still wore the same crop top to a concert at night with high waist jeans.

I buy a lot of used stuff on Poshmark to achieve the styles I want, buy the brands I like, and not break the bank.

Edit: I figured I'd add in here a few of my favorite styles that transition well.

-PrAna Briann pant (I can climb in these, super stretchy but also skinny and sleek) - can usually find these on sale at the end of a season

-Free People Movement Happiness Runs tank (this went on sale during "all FP movement 15% off and I bought three colors. 100% worth it - they're very comfortable to wear when sweaty)

-Patagonia Stand Up cropped pants (this would be for a work-to-night pant; I am obsessed with these. High waist and look super cute with both work blouses and with sexy wrap tops)

-PrAna Tilda tank (I love these because they can show off a sports bra and be breathable, but also show off a lacy bra for casual wear)

-Teva rope sandals (this may not be for everyone, but I rock my Teva sandals with literally everything. I've worn them to concerts with dresses, at a bar, hiking, everything.)

-North Face green Aphrodite dress (I once wore this for almost two days straight; moisture whicking but doesn't even look like it! super cute dress)

Great suggestions. To add onto this list, a good chastity device and a good hair removal method are some high-priority starter purchases IMO. I'd also recommend picking up heels so you can start learning how to walk in them.

For me if I had to pick beyond "buttplug and dildo" - which it sounds like OP already has - I'd suggest the following along with included Amazon links, assuming that you already have some form of hair removal that you're happy with:

• 1 pack of decent panties. I like thongs personally, but to each her own as long as they help you throw away your boy underwear.
  
• 1 pair of heels so, as mentioned above, you can start learning how to walk in them. I bought these bad girls and I love them! They also come all the way up to size 13 if you have gigantic feet like me.
  
• A couple pairs of stockings, especially in a pack or in a set with a garter belt. Some garter sets (like this one) also come with stockings and/or a g-string for added value. Stockings will inevitably wear out in time or get worn out in other ways, so don't be afraid to pick up a cheap-ish pack for now.
  
• A good enema bulb to clean yourself out for playtime is worth its weight in gold. I picked up this one on the cheap
  and definitely recommend it. Just remember not to use too much water while cleaning...follow the guide at https://howtocleanyourass.wordpress.com/ if you're unsure!
  
• Finally, you have to have a chastity device as a sissy to keep your clitty nice and limp. You can go crazy with all kinds of different varieties and materials, but you probably want something cute and pink to start with. I bought a FeiGu cage to start with and it's worked pretty well for shorter play sessions, but I've found the lock on top to get extremely annoying for day-long wear. You might have more luck with the sort of lock style that the Holy Trainer uses instead.

This reminds me I need to find my black Danskos. I used to love wearing them when I was waitressing. They are heavy, but super comfortable and supportive. Where are you planning on wearing them? I've never thought to wear them out with jeans or anything... but in working environments they're great! I do have these which I pull off with jeans and are fun to wear.

I kind of hate to say it, but H&M's business-wear (sheath dresses, slacks, blazers) are pretty great. If you lean pear-shape, especially if you also have small boobs, it's likely to fit well. I also like Loft's blazers, although their sizing is absolutely stupid, so if you're on the smaller side, they're not likely to work. For blouses, I've been very happy with both Everlane's silk sleeveless and Grana's silk sleeveless shirts.

Non work related:
Crocs Huaraches are my absolute favorite sandal. What can't they do? They're magical. I have them in black and brown.

My number one park shoes are my Chacos. I love love love them. But they need to be well broken in before a day in the parks.

On my last trip I brought a pair of Sanuk Yoga Sling Sandals, and I loved them! They were super comfy, the sling kept them on, and they dried quickly. And there's so many different colors and patterns!!

I was never not smiling. Watching you show off your gorgeous legs always keeps a smile on my face.

Running barefoot often helps teach proper running technique. Don't assume you can run as far as you can with shoes though initially. Start slow with low mileage. Slowly build up as your feet adjust.

Also save up for some minimal shoes. I'm currently running in these and they feel great. Very similar to barefoot, yet with a nice thin layer of rubber to protect from glass, metal, sharp rocks, etc.

These are the most comfortable sandals I've ever worn! It took me forever to find a pair that I could walks for miles in that didn't look like hiking sandals, but they were well worth the search. They're still going strong after a year of regular wear, and I can't say enough good things about them.

I am not going to lie - the absolute best shoe for me in a 13-hour day 3 days a week for work are croc wedges. They last forever, they're comfortable as all get-out, and I swear I have them in 3 colors. I get them through Amazon. the black, the tan, and the blue/white stripe I own. I waited forever for the blue/white stripe to be on sale because they were WAY MORE than the black or tan! Seriously, check them out! I hear great things about their cute flats for work too, but the wedges don't tear up my feet and show off my nail polish.

These ones. It's kind of hard to see in the photo but if you look at the various angles, you can kinda see the arch support.

1. These in the summer. Much better than regular flip flops IMO
   
2. A pair of black strappy sandals with studs on them I found at Target a couple years ago on clearance.
   
3. These boots. I wear them almost every single day in the winter.

I love how the Rio flats look, but unfortunately, that style rubs uncomfortably on my feet :(

I absolutely love the Huarache flat sandals and the Adrina II peep toe sandals. Unfortunately, both styles have been discontinued.

My everyday shoes are the Gianna flat and I really want to try the Sienna.
