If I was the seamstress I would want to use skin-coloured sheer trikot fabric that covered not only your bra but also your tattoos on your back, but that is just me.

Bra-wise I am thinking that a backless bra and or taping is pretty much your best bet if you don't want to alter the dress.

I exercise regularly, and have two that hold everything together very comfortably; I'll try to explain the best I can, but what I do might not work for you.

It's worth noting that I've been on HRT since June '13, and my testes have since retreated back into the inguinal canals and they stay up there on their own, which really helps, but this worked well for me before that happened.

I wear a body shaper when I workout; it's very comfortable, and I like the torso support.

Over top of the shaper I wear a pear of stretchy spandex sport underwear - Target has them, but I can't find the link.

And then I wear my running pants or shorts.

The shaper pretty much does all the work at keeping things in place, and the underwear smooths out the appearance. I have found that tucking the penis back gets to be uncomfortable when exercising, so I just let the shaper and the panties smush everything up flat - I don't have an issue with unwanted / random erections anymore, so this method works well for me.

I've done a lot of running and gym workouts this way without a problem. Hope it helps.

Girl. I feel you. While I do agree with most people on here that it is not as noticeable you may think it is, I have the same issue and totally understand how you feel. I bought this (and eventually the short torso version because I am quite short) and it helped immensely. They're still stretchy but define your shape more. I immediately felt happier about the way that I looked in something that hugged my hips. You look absolutely gorgeous, but I recommend something like that if you're willing to try it out!

I have pretty prominent hip dips, particularly when I'm a little less fit (gaining muscle in my glutes and losing fat around my belly seems to decrease their appearance a bit for me) . I bought the Rago High Waisted Leg Shaper Firm Shaping briefs to wear while I was dress shopping and they definitely beat my dips into submission. Not 100% perfect, but enough that I was happy with how I looked in slim-cut dresses. The boning around the hips really seemed to help.

Ultimately I bought a dress that I loved even without shapewear but I definitely appreciate having these around for special occasions now.

You could check Nordstrom? Something like this Free People tank may work; it may also be too casual. There's also this Ro & De top or this TopShop cami. Also, even if you aren't looking for shapewear specifically, something like this by Maidenform may work for you so don't rule that area out.

I'm not sure if you're for sure looking for just a tank, but there are a lot of options for avoiding cleavage. I wear a 34H and have found that shells like this Theory blouse or this Glamorous shell that hit at my collarbones are professional in terms of allowing me to stay covered without feeling like I'm forced to hide something. I've had a lot of luck with Banana Republic and BR Factory, as well as Ann Taylor for stuff like this.

Tip: a full-coverage bra that fits right will also minimize the cleavage you may get. The ladies at /r/abrathatfits can better recommend a brand based on your shape, etc., but I definitely recommend a stop there if you haven't been as a properly fitted bra has definitely changed the way my chest looks in clothing, especially professional and business-casual kind of attire.

go to literally the best tailor you can find. don't skimp, because this dress is going to be a bitch to alter. for the record, i don't think it NEEDS pulling in at the waist, so if you're in a pinch know that you can do without, at least from this angle.

whatever you wear, wear a nude color, ideally as close to your skin color as you can.

I think a bustier or a strapless or even regular nude-colored bra would work. i can't see the front very well, but i don't think the push-up-ness of a bustier will be particularly helpful with this dress so ultimately i would go with whatever shows less underneath the fabric.

For bottoms I love nude, no-line thongs because there's no way in HELL anyone will ever see a line, but if your midsection concerns you the production company i used to work for gave these to the actresses to wear under their bodycon or sheer dresses. i don't know if Spanx makes the Love Your Assets line anymore, but if they don't then I think their Haute Contour line should be equivalent.

If you're going to go the spanx route then...well, this is crude, but make sure it has a pee hole so you don't have to remove them every time you have to go. Finally, practice wearing them: some people find them constricting and that may not be how you want to feel on your wedding day, so you do you.

My best friend with large boobs got married in a backless dress last month. She found a nude thong body suit with clear straps that worked for her lace long sleeve dress. I'm in Canada too! I wore the Spanx that you linked to during my bridal shower, in nude colour. Loved them! I felt supported and sucked in throughtout the event, and thanks to the straps, there was no concern about the top of the Spanx rolling.

This was some of the more "powerful" control garments I've ever bought. One of the keys is to really get a snug size. I wound up with an XS, which I would have NEVER selected on my own (because I'd think it is too small); however, the shop assistant assured me to try it on, and I did, and it felt great.

I've also tried Maidenform, and was pleased with that brand as well.

Ok, so my first suggestion would be some type of see through or sheer pieces, like these, or things that are more like swimsuits various net items that can even be dress-like. Look for teddies, fishnets, or just sheer bodysuits.


If you're more adventurous, I'd also recommend bondage harnesses of various styles that come in options from full body to two piece.


Also, a good pair of stockings, a garter belt, and some pasties would work well. Maybe look into getting quality underbust corsetry or bespoke/made to measure corsetry if you can. Also r/ABraThatFits might be helpful, because discomfort usually comes from incorrect fit.

I think the shapeways boyshorts work and look better than any gaff I've tried. They come down just a little bit on the leg, and are super elastic but strong, they also add shape to your butt and slender the tummy area a bit. Sure thing! The three I've tried on are:

Number one, legit spanx. These I already owned and they work really well usually, the only thing is that since my dress is so thin you can 100% easily see the line where they stop on my thighs.

Number two. I could not tell any difference in my body with these. Like I don't think they "sucked in" anything at all.

Number three. These were... odd. I thought the "lifting" would be good, but it just cut into my butt (maybe my butt is too big?) and the lines around the butt were incredibly noticeable through the dress. The length was good though. I'm realizing with my dress i'm going to have to go to at least knee length. So now to try and find something that has enough control and are also long enough.

I feel like I'm goldilocks-ing it right now with shape-wear haha.
