I totally get it (36D here). My dress is pretty low cut since I really wanted to show off my tattoos, which cover my chest. When the corset is done up properly, things feel very secure but I'm also wearing a slip underneath (this one, the straps are removable), in case of a little loosening or slippage.

With concerns about accidental flashing aside, I also had a few of the same modesty concerns as you - is is too much cleavage for a wedding? Our people going to think I'm showing off too much? But it's my wedding day, and I want to look like me, cleavage and all. If anybody is more interested in being offended by my body then celebrating my marriage, they are welcome to leave.

If you do feel a little insecure about the boobage, maybe you could get a nice shawl or wrap (as opposed to making a permanent change to your dress)? You can use it for coverage when you feel it's necessary, and ditch it if you change your mind.

I wore this sensual number in the very sexy tan color hahahaha! We DEFINITELY PTFO'd when we got back to the hotel. Honestly even the next day we were a bit hungover (the afterparty got a little wild) so we just waited until we felt like humans again later in the evening—didn't really want to struggle through our first time as husband and wife lol. But we've lived together for 5 years so we didn't feel like there was some huge rush to do the deed.

It might not be as smoothing as you'd like in those areas, but I wore this under my Marilyn Monroe costume last year, and it was perfect under that white backless dress. I got mine at Kohl's, and I bought it in a 36D, even though I usually wear a 34GG. The triangle cups were forgiving and worked well under that particular dress.

Because I'm clumsy, I'd be afraid I'd somehow sit on a weight and bruise myself or that my dress would make an awkward thwacking sound when it hit into anything.

I wear these under my dresses and LOVE them. LOVE. They're a trifecta of awesomeness: 1) they prevent any panty-flashing, 2) they prevent thigh chafing, 3) they slim and smooth overall.

I imagine boxers would add bulk under a dress, so I would definitely recommend the type I wear if you wear anything snug or form-fitting.

I have a mermaid style dress and these are amazing! Maidenform shaper - they are the 4th I tried, I couldn’t find ones I liked, because my main issue was my belly button showing through, which these eliminated haha. I tested them out at my bachelorette party and you can sit and dance in them.

I'm sorry, I don't. I'm not experienced with body shapewear but sometimes Amazon does have really thorough reviews. This one has a positive postpartum review. If the Rago one you tried had the closure in the front is it possible a rear-closure would work? This postpartum-specific shop also has some zip up shapers if that sounds like it could be an option.

Can't go wrong with this shit. It will control the belly and your thighs and give your body smooth lines if you're wearing a form fitting dress. Nothin but smooth sexy curves! And since it goes all the way up to your bra you won't get a weird high muffin top like some of the only bottom ones will do.

Hi Hun, we'll get to waist training and wigs but it's understandable if you want it now!

I've dipped my toe into waist training using things like this and working down the sizes.

As for wigs, I've got no experience yet but I think it's best to go a little on the expensive side. Cheaper ones tend to really not be of good quality and it shows.

Seconding the two-piece get up! My favorite way to go is to buy black tights, and buy a dance costume top that snaps under the crotch area. Trying to walk around in a regular black spandex top can cause it to ride up and winkle, something like this has been my favorite way to go.

This light shapewear. I have 2 Jockey Skimmies but both of the legs ride up on my legs to my crotch within 5 minutes of walking. Maybe I am wearing too large of a size? I don't know, they just don't work for me. So I got these with light shapewear in hopes that the legs don't ride up on me - and they don't! They are super light and cool.

I also have 2 pairs of bandelettes which work well for light walking, but not the amount of walking I do for going to and from work outside. Good for lazy weekends.

you look great- may I suggest and underbust shaper instead of the high rise britches? It makes a huge difference in preventing panty lines and you don't have to worry about the top rolling down when you sit. I wore one under my wedding dress and it literally pulled everything together :D
