First, I love the dress!

I don't have any experience with combining something like this, but I wonder if the longline bra and the high waisted shorts would interact in someway to reduce the effectiveness of one of the items. (In other words, I assume the shorts would be pulled up over the bra to ensure maximum support from the bra. The material of the bra might make them slip during the day -or- if the shorts have the rubber strip to help them stay up, they might pull on the bra.) Perhaps a slightly lower-cut support for the waist/legs would reduce some of that.

Have you actually talked to a seamstress? If so, have they made any recommendations? They'll probably know better than I do about material/structure interactions.

Side note: when using google, I found strapless shaper slip with built in bras, such as this, but I don't know if those have a tendency to ride up after a while. Just trying to be helpful in case you hadn't thought of it.

Good luck!

Up top: standard issue plunge/push-up bra with a tank or whatever over it. Depending on the bra and rave in question, the word "nothing" should be included in the concept of "whatever" :D ). I say standard-issue, but if you've got one of the hard-to-find sizes that are all so typical 'round these parts, you might well look for something by Lula Lu https://www.lulalu.com/t/category/bras/

For the bottom, your answer is to be found in the shapewear section of your favorite physical or online womenswear store:

I totally get it (36D here). My dress is pretty low cut since I really wanted to show off my tattoos, which cover my chest. When the corset is done up properly, things feel very secure but I'm also wearing a slip underneath (this one, the straps are removable), in case of a little loosening or slippage.

With concerns about accidental flashing aside, I also had a few of the same modesty concerns as you - is is too much cleavage for a wedding? Our people going to think I'm showing off too much? But it's my wedding day, and I want to look like me, cleavage and all. If anybody is more interested in being offended by my body then celebrating my marriage, they are welcome to leave.

If you do feel a little insecure about the boobage, maybe you could get a nice shawl or wrap (as opposed to making a permanent change to your dress)? You can use it for coverage when you feel it's necessary, and ditch it if you change your mind.

I'm in Canada too! I wore the Spanx that you linked to during my bridal shower, in nude colour. Loved them! I felt supported and sucked in throughtout the event, and thanks to the straps, there was no concern about the top of the Spanx rolling.

This was some of the more "powerful" control garments I've ever bought. One of the keys is to really get a snug size. I wound up with an XS, which I would have NEVER selected on my own (because I'd think it is too small); however, the shop assistant assured me to try it on, and I did, and it felt great.

I've also tried Maidenform, and was pleased with that brand as well.

I’m the same height/weight as you and I have this one. It’s great for tummy control and smoothing. The only thing is it doesn’t really help with adding cleavage (something I also needed) so I had to get cup inserts for that.

Hi! I found this while searching for something for a rehearsal dress that shows my hip dips. I haven’t ordered it yet though, so I can’t give a review. There are plenty of reviews online though! Good luck!

I wear a shaping skirt slip like this. With my shape (which sounds like yours), shorts are absolutely no help with keeping the dresses from clinging to My backside. Plus they can smooth out your thighs a bit & if you get the high waist version, your muffin top too!

I haven't received it yet, but I ordered this to wear with my low back dress. Good luck!

Corselette

I don't have one. Maybe /r/gonewildcurvy if my fiancé wasn't so private I'd post on there.

I only own a plain chrome vibrator and some Ben wa balls, mine are purpleMy poor vibrator is wrecked. Half the coating is rubbed off and the contacts where the batteries are is messed up. Also it shocked me once!

Doggie style!! I love dat pound.

I like it when, my partner nibbles on my shoulder. By nibble I mean gnaw on me. I don't even care. Hurts soooo good.

I haven't bought mine yet, so I can't recommend a specific product. But if you're wanting something to slim your waist, look into longline corsets. If you're willing to wear a slip type undergarment, I'd look into something like [this](Maidenform Flexees Women's Shapewear Strapless Full Slip, Latte Lift, 38D https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00412B1HY/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_mwsBybY2M8D5J).

Last weekend I spent half of Saturday going on the hunt for shapewear! It was really exhausting emotionally, haha. I ended up buying this one:

Flexees Women's Maidenform Shapewear Endlessly Slip with Foam Cups, Latte Lift, 38B https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01ARC2OYU/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_jO3ZCbA22CBK1

(Sorry, I can never seem to get the link as a word formatting thing correct on here. )

My dress is a two piece sheath silhouette (with no cups or support) and also has thin straps. I generally have a terrible time finding bras that fit and I didn't really want to use separate pieces or have lumps and bumps showing through. I'm 5'7" 157lbs and gain most weight in my mid-section and have small hips. This shaper helped define my waist especially around the ribs (still have a bit of lower pooch), holds up and shapes my boobs without padding them and really was exactly what I needed! I purchased a 38b in nude.
