The only link you provided that I approve of are the Sperry Top-Siders. I found the Ice to be very versatile and the solid black have recieved compliments as they aren't very common. Both versatile. Good with shorts and could even be formal enough for a summer wedding. Oatmeal, Sahara/Brown Buc Brown for a basic, well, brown.

For a watch I'll make a few personal suggestions. Of course, the Timex Easy Reader, Brown & Black. Bonus: Black face. This Seiko for a silver watch and I like this black Citizen Eco Drive as well.

Get some basic chino's in a good slim fit like the Dockers Alpha Khaki and some basic flat front shorts from Patagonia.

American Apparel for some staples. Cut down on your graphic tee's and get some plain stuff! I really like the Tri-Blend 50/25/25 Track Shirt for tee's, so comfortable. The black is actually a really dark grey, because of the nature of 'the blend', I really like it and it matches these dark grey twill plimsolls I have perfectly. They have great thin sweaters and cardigans too, browse what's available on Amazon, go on their website to see better images and what else they offer.

I don't mean to totally disregard your choices, I'm just showing you some items that I like, some good basics, and that's all I can muster before I head to bed.

Also, are you sure you're really a 32 inch waist at 6ft 150lbs?

u/GVLaker09 · 1 pointr/bicycling

I'm not a fan of cycling clothes myself, so I can't point you in the direction of cycling specific clothing. My rides are always pretty casual, I like to stop and check out the sights on my routes, stop in stores, restaurants, bars/breweries, etc. so I like having pretty normal looking clothes. I wear these shirts from Eastbay. They are fitted, but not compression fit so they don't cling to you. They aren't baggy but there's a little room, I find them very comfortable. They are always 2 for $20 with free shipping, even though the site advertises it as a sale.

As far as shorts, I have a couple pair of Oneill shorts, they are really light. If I know I'm not getting off the bike I just wear gym shorts. I'm finding on my longer rides that I'm starting to want padding too, so I just ordered a pair of these from Nashbar to test. I can still wear the same shorts I like, plus they are very inexpensive in case I decide I don't like them, I'm not out a lot of money. I should have them by Friday so I'll update on what I think about them then. Nashbar also has a casual jersey I'm interested in. Looks a lot like the fitted Eastbay shirts I like but with a jersey pocket on the back. Inexpensive too, which you can tell is a big factor for me.

Shorts for talk guys?!

6'4, 220 lbs, athletic build. Played soccer for a lot of years, so I have big thighs. Can't find anything that fit right. Any recommendations?

Bought a pair of Haggar Oxford Weave hoping they would fit like the picture. Seriously...these Jokers we're like mid-thigh and fit like spandex! I wear the same brand pants in a 36x34, which is a tad loose in the waist. Shirts seem to fit way different.

Any other ideas?

Mine will be in shorts and flip flops. We are compromising on shirt - he wants t-shirt but so long as short sleeve he is ok.

Mind you August and Vegas. I am in a tea length gown. Not overly formal at all. (pic is on my history somewhere recently).

Here is the shirt I found for him. Will be with shorts similar to these.

I feel it is his wedding too and he should be comfortable and happy and luckily he feels the same for me so this works for us.

u/milaub · 2 pointsr/GalaxyNote9

I absolutely love these shorts for that reason. They have a dedicated hidden phone pocket on the right leg that perfectly holds a Note 9. The phone slides right in and is secure. I have a Speck grip case and it still fits fine. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01IT4V0M0/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i0CKBbEVJ8VTH

i assume you mean this outfit

so i am far from a cosplay expert, honestly i have never done it myself but for the fabric i imagine you could cut up some blankets or sheets and if you cant find it in the color required you can paint it then do some rudimentary stiching to form the cut cloth into a form you would like and if you looking for something to imitate metal i recommend this stuff https://www.amazon.com/Polly-Plastics-Moldable-Pellets-Included/dp/B00WRWKM6G/ref=sr_1_9?ie=UTF8&qid=1494643375&sr=8-9&keywords=moldable+plastichems , i cant tell if the gold hems at the top of the sleeves are metal or fabric but if its metal you could use the stuff i linked, for the pants i would think something like this https://www.amazon.com/Mrignt-Casual-Cotton-Elastic-Shorts/dp/B01ER8SOMG/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1494643615&sr=8-1&keywords=jogger+shorts would work out if you bunched and/or cut them up to your knee (although it looks like those pants may go above the knee so you may need to get a longer version) to get that baggy look along with sealing them up with those other gold hems on the bottom of the legs in the link image and then just put a bunch of fabrics around your waist and paint/dye them (should probably also add embroidery for the designs) to look as they do in the image, hope that helped, but yea in summery, cut up a bunch of cloth for the head, torso, and arms, bunched up sweatpants (and maybe cut) for the pants, do some rudimentary stitching to put the stuff together (like the bra looking thing and the gold hems) and lots of dye/paint, keep in mind ive never cosplayed before but i feel like thats how i would do this one if i wanted to do it

I got several pairs of Volcom skate shorts. They are tan, stretchy, and super comfortable. Like a golf short material. I've done everything in them and they hold up great.

So I’m looking for a great summer fit! I had these (https://www.amazon.com/Tonwhar-Fashion-Capris-Elastic-Drawstring/dp/B00KJJD8JM?ref_=fsclp_pl_dp_2 ) pants that cuffed around the calf’s and knees the materials sucked and ripped in less then a month. I want to see if there is something similar out there, nice material and good for causal work environment, dates, etc. for those warm summer/fall days that’s just right not too hot for shorts not too cold for jeans/chino khakis.

u/jhoff80 · 1 pointr/onebag

I really like the Quiksilver Amphibian / hybrid shorts that I own, for very similar purposes. (There's Billabong 'Submersible' ones that I believe are the same fabric, but I don't know for sure.) Depending on which style you get, some of them look basically like khaki shorts or just plain black shorts, but they're super-thin and lightweight (92% polyester, 8% elastane), and dry super quickly.

It's apparently harder to find some of the styles, but here's one example. https://smile.amazon.com/Quiksilver-EQMWS03050-Mens-Vagabond-Amphibian/dp/B073J1WD34/

u/Flexin_Texan · 7 pointsr/malefashionadvice

Only the lighter sometimes. I keep the cigs, wallet and keys in front left, ipod, phone, cigs and lighter in front right and everything else in my back pockets. I usually wear J Crew or Brooks Bros shorts, which tend to have deep pockets. I also have a pair of cheaper shorts from IZod which look surprising great and have super deep pockets. Specifically, these http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B009COU7FS/ref=oh_details_o00_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 I also don't care those things around anymore, only for the semester of pledgeship, in which case it worked fine

u/Figglypuff · 1 pointr/TeenMFA

I got a sweet pair of volcom frickin chino shorts that are like that for like 10 bucks at tj max and they are awesome. I doubt you can find a deal like that but the frickin chino shorts are really nice but a little expensive. http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00AB0O6X6 just an idea of what to look for.

u/dry_zooplankton · 1 pointr/ftm

I've ordered these shorts from Amazon in a couple colors & like them a lot. They're on the more expensive end of your price range (most are $20-25, sometimes you can find specific colors/sizes that are cheaper), but I think they're good quality for the price. I will say, they wrinkle pretty badly at first but I've noticed that after ironing them after the last couple washes, they've started coming out of the dryer in better shape.

u/whoopi_cat · -2 pointsr/malefashionadvice

I have a slightly less extreme version of your situation. Six feet tall, 202 lbs, 36-inch waist.

I've been cycling for thirty years, so I have big thighs.

I recently got some of these: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00FB6JGBW/ref=cm_sw_r_em_apap_Y1NMUIndr9UlX

My wife at least complimented me on the way they look. I try to wear a nice shirt with them and a necklace to distract from the fact that, yeah, I'm wearing cargo shorts.

If anyone here has a more-fashionable suggestion, I'd love to hear.

u/CowboyState · 1 pointr/frugalmalefashion

Okay, I need help finding cheap, slim fit shorts.

I'm picky about my shorts, and sadly it pays to be picky.

I like them short (pretty much short as it goes without making it seem I swing the other way, I think 7" is about perfect), I like them slim. I feel like I can't find that without dishing out close to $50 a pair of shorts.

I figured these would be my savior, but according to the reviews they are still baggy on the leg which is my pet peeve.

Anyone have any advice for tone/chicken legged people like me?

u/itsthebigt · 2 pointsr/malefashionadvice

I get the joke here. But really, what is the problem with shorts that hit at/below the knee? I have really knobby and dark-colored knees (from recurrent skinning as a kid), and I prefer the cleaner look of just below-knee shorts. My go-to for summer are these vans chino shorts. The models on that page don't accurately represent the length. On me they hit just below the knee since I size up 1.

I'm going to keep wearing these regardless because I like them, they look good, they're comfortable and breathe well (in ridiculous Austin summer heat). So what exactly is the fashionista's objection to them out of curiosity?

u/3006MA · 1 pointr/Random_Acts_Of_Amazon

The ability to be the most perfect gentleman no matter the scenerio. I'd win people over only to brainwash them for my own devious plans. Bwahahahahaha....

These Shorts

u/Visualize_ · 1 pointr/malefashionadvice

I bought this on Amazon and it isn't bad. The sizing is kinda weird and I think I should have sized up twice instead of once because they are a little tight, but honestly for the price I'm satisfied with it

u/jdbee · 4 pointsr/malefashionadvice

The chambray shorts from Left Field NYC ($80) and the canvas shorts from Sid Mashburn ($125) are both pretty fantastic. Norse Projects canvas for a little more. Personally, I spend my entire summer wearing 7" Patagonia stand-up shorts. I donated everything else to Goodwill a few years ago, and I haven't regretted it for a second.
