My husband is like that. I got him the new airpods for his birthday last month and he LOVES them but it’s obviously pricey. Maybe try to think of something that he’s heard of and maybe wanted but he just didn’t feel like spending the money at the time. My husband has all Apple gadgets so I got him a charging stand that docks his Apple Watch, iPhone, and airpods (although it doesn’t fit the new ones right). It was like $10 and just a simple thing to make his nightstand organized I guess. Maybe try to think of something he already has, and find an accessory that would make that thing better/more enjoyable/easy to use.
