Hi Im here for your yoga wants and needs

Yoga Friends looking to start meditation suggestions

Meditation Cushion (I think I have the 13" one) - I specifically have this Reehut ($23) one and a Manduka one (I cant find it online! but it was about $50) and the manduka definitely has a better suede feel, the Reehut one feels just as nice to sit on).

Headspace account - you can get a year premium account on eBay just saying for a fraction of the price... (I'm talking like $5 versus $100).

Journal - I got the meditation cushion and added a journal for my friend (I ended up getting a 3pack from Costco for $11 and gifting to 3 people! 😁

Odds and Ends:

If you want to spend money on your yoga friend, a Liforme yoga mat that's $150-200 might be right up your alley.

I also want the NOW Tone Therapy speakers but cant talk myself into spending $150 for 3 minutes of sweet bells.

If you want to go super hippie, you can buy Sage to burn ($18 issa vibe)

.I think this is a super cute card set Wild Unknown Animal Spirit Deck (less than $25). The same artist also has a similar Tarot deck that's under $25

This is also a great visual/journaling book for yogis - a lot of pages, colorful, and places to write (so dont bother with the Kindle version!)(Wanderlust might have another book for cookers, if I'm not mistaken).Less than $20 right now.

Jessamyn Stanley also has Every Body Yoga for someone who practices yoga and is interested in hearing Jessamyn's journey to yoga. She's very inclusive and I really enjoyed reading her story. The yoga is very basic though.

Thanks for the response! Very interesting to read. I think I have a relatively good understanding of the how, at least as well as I can without experiencing it myself. Your post has helped my understanding.

But the burning questions that I have are probably the same ones most of you guys have. Why? I feel like there's something missing. Everything happens for a reason, maybe people that think it's random just don't have enough information. Or maybe for some it is random. What's the purpose? How far up does it go? How does compartmentalization affect who focuses on who? Are people being targeted because of something they know and don't realize? Or had "unremembered?" Is it because of some key individual that you know? Is it because of your genetics? The whole thing seems extremely inefficient if you ask me if the purpose is just to experiment DEWs.

I want the details. "The details are not the details, they are the design." Charles Eames.

I know several people that I thought would be targeted and are not. Why not those people?

Also, what do you mean by neurophone? This is what I know of as a Neurophone. Although, I'm pretty sure it will relate to whatever you're referring to.

I posted in your original thread about some behind-the-head Sonys for super cheap, but I also remembered that my wife uses one of these speakers you slip into your pillowcase with great success.

I second a white noise machine. Two actually. One that stays in the nursery (not necessarily a baby one, there are cheaper options that do the same job) and a portable one for travel like the marpac hushh.

Also a milksnob.

it's the most multipurpose item I got. we've used it as a breastfeeding/pumping cover while out, it blocks out light over the car seat when she's overstimulated or needs a nap, and now that she's older we've used it as a seat cover in shopping carts and high chairs in restaurants when we forgot to bring our own little pop-up one.

Also, Amazon doesn't offer them but some sites have bottle samplers. I would try one of those before you go all in on one type of bottle. I researched the crap out of bottles, went in hard on the nanobebe bottles, daughter gets here and can't latch to them. ended up using Dr. Brown's and having a lot of useless nanobebe stuff lying around taking up space. the samplers will let you try a bunch of different optand see which one babe likes best before you commit to buying a ton of one kind.

EDIT: this one is on sale right now on babylist

Congrats 😊

I have a REM Dreamer Pro mask which does this, it detects your REM sleep cycles and plays sounds which you can define. It also flashes lights.

I can actually buy a pillow stereo for a good price (such as this one) and have the REM Dreamer sleeping mask detect when I'm sleeping then send a signal to my laptop which reads the signal and plays isochronic beats or whatever audio I want to play. It could be really powerful when combined with flashing lights and stuff.

Get this: http://www.amazon.com/Marpac-Screen-580A-Conditioner-Single/dp/B000LQI2S0/ref=pd_sim_hpc_7

Rejoice in peaceful sleep. Seriously, these machines are far better than ceiling fans, and they don't make you cold. I love mine.

u/meatywood · 1 pointr/DoesAnybodyElse

I've used a Marpac Sleepmate for many years. It fits neatly on the nightstand and does a wonderful job of producing pleasant white noise.

u/ozzaron · 2 pointsr/LifeProTips

I really love stand alone white noise generators. I used to live in the middle of the bar district in downtown Austin, and picked this up. Also available as a cheaper single speed here - the single speed is the higher speed on the dual according to reviews.

It's some of the best money I've ever spent on sleep.

u/kbennett73 · 2 pointsr/LucidDreaming

Try using something like a PillowSonic speaker. It's a super-thin speaker you place under your pillow. The sound filters up through the pillow. It's a great gadget to use for lucid dreaming audio, and it also comes in handy if you want to listen to something at night without disturbing your partner.

u/cerveza1980 · 4 pointsr/aves

First ever rave back in early 2000s and I was dancing on the floor just gacked out of my mind. Dude came up to me a said, "come over hear and try this". Never seen the guy in my life. Sat my down in front of a base speaker stack and put something like these on my face. Fucking floored me. I was stuck for a good couple minutes before I realized I should give them back. I take them off and dudes like "Nah man enjoy!". So much fun. I miss the old rave days.

u/budpickens · 8 pointsr/AdviceAnimals

Pillow speakers are a pretty good solution, but I just hook my stuff up to a nice speaker dock across the room.

u/Anthrogirl2013 · 2 pointsr/beyondthebump

I do this too! We bought a pillow speaker off amazon that is just like a black flexible piece of padded fabric that I shove under my pillow. Husband can't hear it and I can still a listen for the baby. It's like this one. I love it!

I have one of these and I watch Netflix or tv on my laptop that I put on my nightstand. http://www.amazon.com/Pillow-Sonic-PS-401-25-Pillowsonic-Speaker/dp/B0002BK7KU

I put it right in my pillow on the bottom so that it doesnt wake up the husband. Staying in bed helps me fall back to sleep a LITTLE easier. I find if I get up and do something, then Im screwed when I have to be up at 6:30am for work.

I figure Im averaging 3-4 hours of sleep a night. Good practice for when baby is here I guess!

u/knoberation · 6 pointsr/AskReddit

Buy a pillow speaker. Listen to audio books, podcasts, calming music, whatever. As long as it helps you take your mind off other things. My biggest problem getting to sleep was my thoughts wandering too much, and ever since I got a pillow speaker (2 years ago) I haven't had that problem.

u/meshmemory · 1 pointr/IAmA

I have tinnitus as well. If you have trouble sleeping, your best option is one of these:

Marpac Sound Screen

It is a small round box with a switch that creates a fan-like noise that covers more of the sound spectrum than an actual fan. I linked to the 580A model above which has one speed, but I actually use the 980A which has two speeds, one makes a louder sound This is the one I use. You can also adjust the sound a bit by turning the top and sides of the machine.

I have bad enough tinnitus from being around live music/playing in bands for years that if I sit in a car that is not running I can hear it clearly. This machine makes it very easy to sleep. Otherwise I hate silence because all I can hear is a high pitched ringing noise.

u/kramithefrog · 13 pointsr/whatisthisthing

Marpac sound machine.

Marpac Dohm-SS Single Speed All-Natural White Noise Sound Machine, Actual Fan Inside, Tan https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000LQI2S0/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_4piBCbR0ZA0NA

u/LazyG · 7 pointsr/relationships

A fan for white noise? Radio instead of TV? Can even get one of those under-pillow speakers so you don't hear it. Like this.

In the end she is conditioned not addicted, she can chose to get over it. I was like that for a while but i decided to stop, and it was fine after a few days,

u/eggrock · 3 pointsr/eldertrees

I like to put these while I'm on an elliptical or just relaxing.

What I really want are glasses that let you open your eyes, but the models I found were all really expensive (not that the Procyons are cheap). It can be distracting to keep your eyes closed when they want to open.

u/kermityfrog · 1 pointr/headphones

If you're not sleeping with a partner, how about pillow speakers instead?

u/pikapootwo · 2 pointsr/tinnitus

I got a sound conditioner (basically a white noise generator) for nighttime, since it's the hardest for me when I'm trying to fall asleep and everything else is silent. works wonders! http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B000LQI2S0?pc_redir=1397953164&robot_redir=1

u/Matrix2isBestMatrix · 1 pointr/Christianity

Well someone went ahead and made the device although it seems kinda scam like http://www.amazon.com/Neurophone-NF3-By-Patrick-Flanagan/dp/B008GOKGXI

u/mousicle · 2 pointsr/NoStupidQuestions

Get him an under the pillow speaker so he can hear the alarm but you can't.

u/kachunga · 1 pointr/ZReviews

Pillowsonic Stereo Pillow Stereo

It's a set of speakers you put under your pillow and apparently you can only hear it when you put your head on it.

I'll be anxiously waiting the sound test.

u/mantriddrone · 1 pointr/ConspiracyII

i used to use something similar (sound and light) when i was younger and i can confirm that the effects can be extremely disorientating. strange visuals can also trigger seizures in extreme cases!

"Delusional Disorders" do not come with people emitting radio and ultrasound.

Now I am not saying every target is sane, but clearly the system has prejudiced against some wounds of the mind. May their wound not be so closed that it cannot be reopened, as the poison of their actions are killing persons for not being a distribution.

I cannot thank you guys enough for the attempt to raise awareness. I would have thought the multiple shootings would have been enough.

Not all of the subculture believes in the interpretations and conspiracy theories, (clones, morgellons, nanobots, ect.)(though maybe it is time for some laws here too pretty soon!) In fact, some of what targets are fighting for is legislation and investigation, at all for electronic harassment, of which there are existing products that are readily accessible to the consumer. Presently only Michigan seems to have laws against electronic harassment and not in all of its forms. Hell, I saw a Long Range Acoustic Device on Ebay the other day for $15,000. It only takes one psychopath and the Darknet to buy a "nonlethal" high powered acoustic device or one genius to wire up forces of the "invisible"(electromagnetics/sound) for the Frey Auditory effect.

There are also those of a variety that are more affordable, if you just can't wait.

Though I warn you, it takes a long time to psychologically whittle down someone and kill them via sleep deprivation.
Robert Duncan, and William Binney might reply if you ask them. Robert apparently is some of the genius behind the conspiracy technology and Bill is just an all around American hero cryptographic mastermind.

If I qualify, send me your email and I can reply with a phone number.
