Reason I know this is my friends dad, I believe, bought the patent for this and tried to make a business out of them. I think he eventually sold them to a larger company. I’m with you. I don’t need a mirror gold, but something like this ND helmet with a deep purple that isn’t navy blue.

It’s tougher to find the right gold for fabric. I like the Pantone 871, but want something a little lighter. Maybe PANTONE 7767 C?

Sorry, I don't play the game so I have very little context to pull from on this. Looking at the style of his clothes, is this a skin based off WW2 era gear? Or something in the past? Reason I ask is that some of the pouches and web belt, jacket, etc... look dated. The helmet also almost resembles an old leather football helmet

Depending the actual ball (generic, rubber, NFL Duke, etc) and quality of the marker used, the price will fluctuate.

So, my guesstimates:

• Top dollar: Signed w. a paint marker on an NFL Duke football with proper documentation, start @ $250
  
• Mid dollar: Signed w. a black sharpie on an NFL autograph football with proper documentation, start @ $150
  
• Bottom dollar: Signed w. a poor marker on any other football (especially the white ones with the embroidered "C"; signatures turn purple after a while) no documentation, start @ $50
