It's 4 Billy bookcases with 8 Morliden doors, with 8 Inreda spotlights. I was looking for furniture/display options like OP and stumbled on this person's blog, I plan on making a similar setup like this.

If you search for "LED cabinet jewerly museum spotlights" will yield great results.

These have dimmable controllers, and select "cold white" light, not "warm white" light.

In case you’re still looking I put two BR30’s in these but they’ll work just fine with regular bulbs. (Note the BR30’s stick out but only very slightly and not necessarily in a bad way.) https://smile.amazon.com/Satco-Products-SF77-394-Multi-Purpose/dp/B07KRK11YS/ref=mp_s_a_1_13?crid=25PIZUKNN7NZX&keywords=spotlights%2Bindoor&qid=1551142569&s=gateway&sprefix=spotlights%2B&sr=8-13&th=1&psc=1

I set that up on my Pi. It works great. Although, use a minimum of a 3 amp power supply versus the regular 2.5 amp supply because it’s a known issue of the software and the Pi dropping out and losing connection to your Main computer and the iPhone app. I’m going to test it today with a different power supply. The project still prints normally you just lose server connection to monitor the print. Annoying but the culprit is most likely the power supply and lack of amperage.

This camera (1.3v) works great on this light from IKEA. (Ikea 803.863.19 Jansjo LED Clamp Spotlight, Black, Multi-Function, https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00R3LQW2Y/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_Ni.7CbWNH05N3)

With some kind of low voltage lighting the shaft itself could carry the electricity to ground. Then you'd just need one wire for +, and that could probably be made unobtrusive.

I used to have some low-voltage halogen "cable lights" where the halogen bulbs were connected to the power source using uninsulated metal rods. Kind of like this.
