So first and foremost it’s cool to talk about that stuff. I think it’s valuable and important. I wouldn’t worry too much about how she’ll feel about it, let’s focus on the delivery and also some aspects neither of you many know about.

  1. You BOTH should drink more water. It helps with bodily fluids and is also just good for you! A good way to start is by having a big glass of water first thing when you wake up. You’ll find yourself after a few days of doing this WANTING more water. It’s weird, but true.

  2. The pH level in a vagina is really important to keep balanced. It’s meant to be at a high acidity which is why sometimes you’ll get a weird coppery taste when eating a woman out. It’s meant to be acidic in order to keep it clean, so it’s naturally going to be somewhat bitter to the taste buds. With that being said, creams and soaps can throw off the pH balance and make the vagina itchy, dry, and very uncomfortable. Instead, try these things:

    • Recommend a probiotic for vaginal health.

Renew Life Women's Probiotic - Ultimate Flora Women's Care, Probiotic Supplement - Gluten, Dairy & Soy Free - 90 Billion CFU - 30 Vegetarian Capsules https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00CCCNISU/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_WkYSDbYG7PWY4

    • Use a flavored water-based lube. Put some on her, and go to town! It will help with the acidic taste and smell as well.

Wet Lube 1oz Sampler Assortment Bundle (Warming Fun Flavors 5 Pack) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07TBBB15Z/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_JlYSDb6BFT3FW

    • Is she on birth control? Some forms of bc will mess with ones hormones more than others - worth looking into!

    • Does she use tampons? Make sure she’s using ones with organic cotton. Chemicals found in specific tampon brands can mess with the pH balance as well which can cause odors.

Cora Organic Cotton Tampons with BPA-Free Plastic Compact Applicator; Chlorine & Toxin Free - Variety Pack - Regular/Super (36) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B06ZYRXLNV/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_HmYSDbZSY7YY0

  3. Please understand that while she may have some odors and tastes that aren’t the most desirable, you may have to be open to the fact that SHE may have dealt with some odors and tastes from you too. :) Be open minded and discuss with her that you just want to make your sex life as enjoyable as possible for BOTH of you.

    Good luck! 💦

You may have a point here... somewhere?

But it gets entirely lost in this mess of tears and tampons you have posted about how your OP Stalker or AC/40 build isn't viable anymore when really it takes a lot more skill to play such a build...

There are 2 reasons why all this QQing about balance and heat are bullsh!t...

  • The game is free - you don't have to pay anything to experience a MMO mech simulation with a large amount of well built, detailed mech variants. If the devs were taking your money monthly, maybe... MAYBE you would have a soap box to stand on
  • The game is in beta - they make it clear they are still working on the game from big things to little things. With that, people who agree to play it and enjoy it, need to be understanding of that fact and work with the devs... not bitch and moan every time they make a change that effects your PPC boat.

Not only is PGI delivering something that I think a lot of people have been waiting for for a long time, but they are doing it in a format that lets the lore-obsessed fan base have a say on how things come together. Re-up your WoW subscription or tinker around on Candy Crush if the direction MWO is being taken isn't to your liking.

No one is going to agree with every change PGI makes.. just not going to happen. So go pick yourself up new box or accept that boating is OP and needed to be curved. Risk and Reward... pffft.

I haaaaaate menstrual cups, but fucking adore sponges. The large ones hold a TON and it didn't take too long to get used to being so up close and personal with my junk. AND YOU CAN HAVE SEX WITH IT IN!

Seriously, try it. Life changing.

It has step by step instructions on how to insert one that has an applicator, and one without.

Since you're new to them I suggest a variety pack like this one It has super and regular sizes in one box.

It's kind of trial and error at first to see what absorbency you need. Maybe use the supers on the first day or two of your period, although it should not be painful going in or coming out.

I get organic cotton tampons that are pretty much identical to OB, except without the weird potentially cancer-causing fibers... and even they are better than that terrible price for OB! (Amazon has mine for $6/20 so OB is technically slightly better deal on there, but there is no reason they should cost the same as organic ones.) The upside to OB for sharing, is (like others mentioned) you can get a variety pack of them, which my organic 7th Generation and/or Natracare options don't offer.

These. They're surprisingly easy to use, although I'm on the cup these days.

Forget about your worries and your strifes.

I have some real needs right now since I lost my second job. I wrote a column for our local print newspaper for years, and they decided to do away with the section of the paper that I wrote for. Ugh! That is $400 a month that I am down so my "needs" are adding up!

A few things I could really use are:

or the half pack for $22.95. Either would be appreciated. About 5 minutes ago got into an argument - one sided - with my sister because I wasnt able to help buy the last pack. Ive never had something like that thrown in my face, so it feels quite shameful/odd. So she does not use tampons, I am the only one - if anybody can afford these, I would greatly appreciate it! (And this should last awhile)

u/garybuseysawakening · 14 pointsr/SRSsucks

Let's actually do the math. Here is 36 tampons:

http://www.amazon.com/Playtex-Unscented-Tampon-Regular-Absorbency/dp/B003V08GMU

Let's presume that women have seven days a month of menstruation. Every day, they change their tampon four times. That works out to 28 tampons a month. Within a year, then, that requires 336, or ten boxes of these. The total cost of this expense, in one year, is $69.50. At a tax rate of 4%, this works out to the grand total of $2.78.

To reach a $10 expense per year, you'd need to buy just under 36 boxes of these.

u/existie · 2 pointsr/TrollXChromosomes

It should get better; give it a few months.

In the meantime: Combo a thin pad and these babies. I won't use anything else now.

u/pants_pants_pants · 6 pointsr/TrollXChromosomes

And also, some boxes still say "flushable" on them in the instructions. Fewer do now, but in the 80's they almost all did. (This is why I'm assuming that sometimes women in their 40's will be more likely to think it's ok to flush them.) Here's an example, just from a google search: https://www.amazon.com/Playtex-Unscented-Flushable-Applicator-Absorbancy/dp/B0002XK06Y

Alternatively you can buy some natural sponges you can re-use. Are you in the US?

File under: additional suggestions.

If you don't already have a "shit bag" you might want to make one up. (Bonus points if you write "blood bag" on it.) Use a small opaque bag like a large make-up bag. I've got a really small canvas bag with handles, which is very convenient when there happens to be a potty with a hook. Put these things inside:

  • Hand sani
  • 1-ply in zip bag
  • A few baby wipes in zip bag
  • Your chosen menstrual products
  • Bags for dirty items - I use dog pick-up bags, because you can't see what's inside. Plain zip bags would work fine, also.

Remember to hand sani before touching yourself all up in there. It's dangerous enough for your crotch's health on playa, no need to be pawing around with who-knows-what on your mitts. The above items should be everything you need while inside the potty.

Remember to pull out your "trash bag" first, so when you're holding a soaked bloody tampon you have somewhere to put it. Do your biz, put the non-potty-safe things in your "trash bag", then take that back to camp or place within your pack trash bag.

Choosing your perfect product is a very personal choice, but here are some good options.

  • Tampon with cardboard applicator (sorry, doesn't seem like there are any "compact" options that I can find): http://www.amazon.com/Natracare-Organic-Regular-Tampons-Applicator/dp/B001E117LK/ref=sr_1_6?ie=UTF8&qid=1407773634&sr=8-6&keywords=cotton+tampon

While these are in theory burnable, do you really want to dump all of your dirty toilet bags out into a paper bag and let it sit around your tent until you find the motivation to bike out to a pyre? You do? Good on ya.

  • If you can stand the responsibility of seriously using clean hands and don't mind touching your vag: http://www.amazon.com/b-Comfort-Tampons-Regular-Count/dp/B004HZ6BP2/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1407773810&sr=8-2&keywords=ob+tampons

My favorite disposable choice. Minimal trash (although they are individually wrapped in shrink wrap plastic, fyi) and very small.

  • Obligitory menstrual cup mention: http://www.amazon.com/GladRags-Moon-Cup-Size/dp/B0016D7S28/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1407774723&sr=8-1&keywords=moon+cup

If you haven't already been using one of these, at burning man is probably not the right time to try it out. They are seriously great - although I do always have anxiety about accidentally dropping it into the potty... You just dump it out, wipe it, and pop it back in. No trash to deal with and it can stay in for 12 hours!

Bleeding out of any part of your body on playa sucks, especially when it just doesn't want to stop and is accompanied by the possibility of cramps, bloating, wonky emotions, and general discomfort.

May your playa period be light and your tampon changes by headlamp be disaster-free.

She uses an applicatorless brand. Tampax is a brand that uses an applicator for insertion. Some women don't like the idea of putting plastic or cardboard up their vaginas to insert a tampon. Some find it easier.

Each brand wraps their tampons differently. Kotex does the same with their plastic applicator tampons. Each are individually wrapped in a different color wrapper, and the color of the applicator indicates the absorbency of the tampon itself.

u/mrs_ladybird · 3 pointsr/Advice

Here you go!

This trash bin hooks onto the toilet tank. Has two size options and is literally otherwise wasted space.

These waxed paper bags can be used to line the bin. Makes for easy emptying.

These little bags are waterproof and seal. Nice and discrete.

It's also not absurd to request that the person using the bin at the time empty it daily.

Plastic clear faux tampons.

Similar to these https://www.amazon.com/Smuggle-Your-Booze-Tampon-5-pack/dp/B00M75QCM6/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1480097311&sr=8-1&keywords=liquor+tampons

Find a girl to carry them in here purse and no questions asked.

> Even when I do buy a box that isn’t pink or flowery, there’s usually flowers/pink on the packaging for the tampon or pad itself and sometimes on the actual pad in a pattern. Is it really a choice when there’s no choice?

Took me literally 15 seconds, try harder women.
