Fear cuts deeper than swords
OOH I LOVE SCAVENGER HUNTS. Placeholder. I'm working on this. Goodbye sunday night productivity.
EDIT Aug 11, 11:44pm PST
1.) something that is gray.
2.) Something reminiscent of rain. It rains so much in my city and on those days I like to have my tea and soup and all the yummy hot homecooked food at school in the library while I study. I already have a great thermos for my tea and hot cocoa but not for my soups/food.
3.) Something food related that is unusual. I don't know if this is necessarily food related but WOOOO TEA. MANA-TEA. Seriously this is awesome.
4.) Something on your list that is for someone other than yourself. A wii for my mom because she has been wanting a wii or ipad for a long time. My bro and i think the wii would be better because at least we could all play it together when we go home to visit.
5.) I will recommend this book to anyone and everyone. It's the book I just finished reading and I feel like it has helped me a lot. I am so much more motivated and driven and it is helping me make some tough choices in my life. I am a senior in college but this book can help anyone who is at any place in their life I think. I currently have this on my wishlist which is like a supplement to the book. Seriously though, read it, share it with everyone you know. Let's make the world a happier place.
6.) An item that is less than a dollar. Awww yeee. They always seem to have one of these on the coffee table at my brother's house. Wherever he lives. Even though it's never his. But yeah, they're cool but I don't actually want one.
7.) Something related to cats. THIS IS SO AWESOME. I have another mug with the disappearing thing on my wishlist too. But yeah, I love cats, I just don't have much cat stuff on my wishlist. I do need a real cat though... hint hint nudge nudge
EDIT Aug 12, 12:15am PST
8.) Something that is not useful, but so beautiful you must have it. Okay it's not Amazon but it is beautiful and I have had my eye on it for a year. Despite that fact that I do not plan on having children for at least 8 years. Dem hormones are a'ragin.
9.) I know it's not REALLY a movie but... A movie everyone should watch at least once in their life. Why? Because it is so beautiful and awe inspiring. It really brings me a sense of peace every time I watch it.
10.) Something that would be useful when the zombies attack. Explain. I can put on my holy strainer hat and pray to The Flying Spaghetti Monster to save me from the zombies.
11.) Something that would have a profound impact on your life and help you to achieve your current goals. I know I used this for another one but really, I think doing these exercises would help me in all areas of life.
12.) One of those pesky Add-On items. These beauties, even though I doubt I can grow them without a yard...
13.) The most expensive thing on your list. Your dream item. Why? My little acer hand me down freezes a lot, can't do multiple things at once, doesn't have a cd drive, has a screen too tiny to edit photos or edit my website. Basically everything is frustrating. And I'm a college student. So I use the computer for basically everything... and everything the little laptop CAN do takes forever.
EDIT Aug 12, 1:51am PST
14.) Something bigger than a bread box. If you don't think that is big enough, then here, but it's newly added.
15.) Something smaller than a golf ball. Well, I'm pretty sure this is smaller than a golf ball. If it wasn't, I'd be disappointed.
16.) Something that smells wonderful. Mmm imagine the ginger lemon grass!
17.) A (SFW) toy. And here's another one because I couldn't decide which one looks more fun...
18.) Something that would be helpful for going back to school.
19.) Something related to your current obsession, whatever that may be. Currently obsessed with learning all kinds of new jewelry techniques! Also obsessed with tea because it's the one thing my boyfriend and I developed an interest in together. It didn't start out as either of our interests.
20.) Something that is just so amazing and awe-inspiring that I simply must see it. Explain why it is so grand. THIS IS SO PRETTY AND USEFUL AT THE SAME TIME. Seriously so cute, has lovely details, 8gb, and you can wear it as a pendant. Whaaaat!
EDIT: this lovely is made in oregon!
fear cuts deeper than swords
Thanks for the fun contest
What makes me happy is sitting down with a cup of tea and a good book, even better if there's music playing. Actually, the more I think about it, its not so much the reading that makes me happy, but that environment.
I've been getting into this ancient game Go. The idea of sitting down with some tea and music to play a game of Go sounds just as relaxing.
I just moved to a new town. I don't know anyone and have been spending everyday looking for work. When I had free time I decided to go to this café right downtown. I brought my Go board (Goban) with me. Go is a game that needs too players, so right after buying a nice cup of tea, I set up the board and opened the app on my tablet. Interestingly, we have yet to build a program that can beat the pros at Go. Fortunately for me, this isn't a problem( :/ ). So I start the Go app and start setting out the pieces(stones) out on the real board with every move I make and rhe computer makes.
Unfortunately I lost, but it accomplished my goal. Someone else spotted me playing and asked to play. We played our game till they had to go. We called it a draw, and thank god because I was losing so bad. But while we were playing he said, "not to make any assumption on your gender or sexual identity, but guerilla gay bar is tomorrow night and you should come." To clarify, GGB is a monthly event where a local bar hosts a night for the GLBT+ community to hang out.
I went and met a lot more people, so now I don't feel so alone.
For you because everyone needs one for this.
I hope you start to feel better, and I picked a sampler of teas for you because sometime folks don't know what tea they like. Cheers
Edit: I spell gud
Oh I got this!
(Note, all of these will last you a good bit, especially if you get more than one)
Also, I know this is a Amazon heavy site, but I also want to suggest Adagio. They have A LOT of tea for really good prices, and you can actually get samplers of any tea for really cheap. I love just get a boatload of samplers. Each sampler contains around 10 cups of tea so that's also a great deal in itself. They have an entire page of sampler collections. I specifically want to suggest the Chai Tea Sampler, the Herbal tea Orchard Sampler, the Oolong Tea Orchard Sampler and the Green Tea Sampler. You also can't go wrong with just going around the site and picking and choosing, although you do save a few bucks with a sampler pack. They also like to just throw samples at you while you're checking out.
If you find you want to get something on Adagio, I have a 5 dollar off coupon I can give you.
Welcome to America, a land where you can choose whatever you want in the store as well as grow practically any food source in your back yard.
That sucks you don't like sucralose, it along with aspartame has helped millions of diabetic people able to taste something sweet on a regular basis without messing with their blood sugar. Aspartame is the most medically tested food chemical on the planet and has no side effects (except for diarrhea, upset stomach, and some other problems when ingested in extreme quantities - you'd have to be on an intravenous line of that stuff to get such a dosage.
Look, I'm not a huge fan of sucralose either, but to get sick off of it I'd have to completely replace my sugar intake with the stuff.
The reason we have large corporations providing food-stuffs for so many people is because there's money in it and they do a good job at it. People wouldn't buy stuff if it was toxic, heck, I stay away from brands if I didn't like the way I felt after eating it. The fact is food is full of chemicals, chemicals that are extremely awesome. Chemicals are everywhere, in fact I'd dare to say everything is a chemical, if a food says it's chemical free, it'd be lying since it has a chemical makeup, heck water is dihydrogen monoxide, salt is sodium chloride, baking soda is something something carbonate (sodium bicarbonate, ah I'm too tired to think about it).
It's not a perfect world, but if you live in America, you live in a country where you have a gazillion options, you can shop at trader joes, walmart, aldi, kroger, etc. There are tons of people who want to sell you exactly what you want at a quality and price that is absolutely incredible. That's why trader joes exists, without corporations, how would you get foodstuffs that you preferred, you'd only have limited options from "government sources".
Believe me, I've been to China, the food is cheap and it's mostly grown in peoples back yard, but when you're driving along and people are burning batteries next to their "farm" it makes you a bit weary about where your food is coming from.
The only suggestion I have is to avoid anything "diet" since it has artificial sweetener, and get yourself some delicious tea, try this: http://www.amazon.com/Davidsons-Tea-Gunpowder-Green-1-Pound/dp/B000SATIFA/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1405136542&sr=8-1&keywords=gunpowder+green I'm still going through my Chinese tea, but I hear this stuff is pretty good, plus they're "organic" which means the chinese tea farm "claims" they are. Ha-ha. It's still delicious regardless, just rinse off the tea with a bit of cold water right before you steep it.
Oh and if you're looking for tea that is extremely good for you, but tastes really weird, check out this: http://www.amazon.com/Cruz-Malta-Kilo-Yerba-Mate/dp/B001UO90BA/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1405136831&sr=8-3&keywords=yerba+mate it has a strangely sweet taste, like a grainy sweet taste. It's apparently good for the skin and what-not. I'm not a fan of it, but it is super good for you. (Cleared up some foot fungus and skin condition for someone I know. They tried all sorts of organic cures, but this was the only one that worked)
So chill a bit and relax. Why not head over to a random store and pick up some nectarines, I bought 7 for $1.50 at Aldi, I'm sure they're probably GMO, but they are insanely delicious, crisp, affordable, and guaranteed safe to eat, otherwise the company would get sued to oblivion.
Edit: Sorry for the long writeup, but I'm a bit tired at the moment.
Great snack that can replace cravings for smoothies, shakes, icees, slurpees. I avoid boba shops because they are inconsistent, cost too much, and don't display calorie content (or contain too many calories).
Buy thai tea mix and a tea pot. The tea only takes a few minutes to make but should sit in freezer or fridge for 30~ minutes to cool before adding ice and drinking. Other teas work too. Most teas are 0 calories. I freeze some tea into icecube tray so that I don't have to wait for tea to cool as long. You can also make a big batch of tea and save in fridge if you want.
Boba can be made by hand or boiled from hard (30-60 minutes) or boiled from soft (5 minutes). It is about 80 calories for 1/4 cup.
I use artificial sweeteners and artificial creamers to make the tea sweet and creamy without adding many calories. Make sure to soak the boba in hot sugar water to get them nice and sweet before adding them to your (less sweet) tea. I usually use nut pods or some sort of creamer that has some calories, adding 50-120 more calories to the boba, but you can stick to zero calorie creamers if you want. I hear Stevia is the healthiest zero calorie sweetener, by the way.
Because you want your tea to cool and your hard boba to boil it takes 30 minutes to make but you aren't in the kitchen the whole time. When I get a craving I will start the boba tea and during the 30 minutes I wait. Most of my food cravings pass easily during this time as I know I am about to drink boba. I find it to be very filling by the time I am able to drink it. I find that this is something of a strategy in itself... Having to wait 30 minutes for my snack helps the cravings pass and the snack feels more filling.
It's hard to answer because it's such a sad question! Hang in there...
But here are some of the presents I've gotten for people who were going through really awful medical treatment of one sort of another:
Ginger and peppermint products. Lots of them. Chemo (and several other medical treatments) just make you so nauseated... And I don't know about you, but I don't feel human when I'm sick to my stomach. Ginger and peppermint both help. You can get really nice bottles of ginger beer (that's non-alcoholic), this strange Chinese "ginger drink" (that one's going to require a link to explain: http://www.amazon.com/Ginger-Sachets-Packed-Containing-Sachet/dp/B000PWTCBQ/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1292302741&sr=8-1), all natural ginger candy, and peppermint teas at most fancy grocery stores--or online.
Fleece clothing is always good. Fleece socks, a pullover, maybe a scarf... Just think soft but manly.
This is going to sound strange, but things that smell good can be a big help to some people. I gave my mother a lavender filled eye mask to help her rest. And there are plenty of masculine scents and soaps out there. Sometimes a sweet smell can give you a pick me up when you're feeling like death. (Just try to get all-natural products. People can get very sensitive to artificial perfume.)
Books on tape! You can download them for free from Librivox. I know this isn't the same thing, but sometimes when I'm down with a migraine the only thing that keeps me from tearing my own head off is turning off the lights and listening to someone "read me a story..." (Yes, apparently I'm five.)
You could also got the sentimental, supportive route and get him something that will bring back good memories for him when he's feeling awful--do some research for him on ancestry.com, dig up some old pictures and enlarge them, get him back in touch with an old friend or two, find a book about his home town (assuming it's not somewhere like New York City). That's the sort of thing we did for my grandfather one year when he wasn't doing very well.
Anyways, sorry to write an essay. But all of those went over really well.
I am not the OP, but here are a few of my suggestions: iphone case with a yorkie on it? A cute yorkie sweater?
A tea gift set that will get you an overwhelming amount of results on amazon. They have this tea that is flower and leaves tied together in a little bundle and you put it in this glass tea pitcher and it blooms. I got it a few years ago and it was pretty neat to check out. http://www.amazon.com/Numi-Organic-Flowering-Handcrafted-Mahogany/dp/B000FFIL92/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1417715652&sr=8-1&keywords=tea+gift+set
This is a tea around the world set because of travelling-http://www.amazon.com/Tea-Forte-Single-Steeps-Sampler/dp/B008DVCAU6/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1417715895&sr=8-2&keywords=tea+around+the+world
This yorkie tea cup is cute!!! I am not into that keep calm fade, but I like this. http://www.amazon.com/Large-Bistro-Ceramic-Coffee-Yorkies/dp/B00MI6I1DW/ref=sr_1_9?ie=UTF8&qid=1417715951&sr=8-9&keywords=yorkie+tea
You could get her some American snacks that people serve with tea like cookies and that sort of thing. I don't have any suggestions of what kinds of cookies or American snacks unrelated to tea?
Comprehensive samplers can get a little pricey, but if you want to start simple and cheap, Numi Collection has green, black, pu'er, white, and herbal, although I haven't actually tried it myself.
Some samplers from some of my favorite companies - pricier but great:
Tea Forte sampler with black, white, green, and herbal.
Heavenly Tea Leaves has a couple variety samplers, I recommend this one.
Tea Spot's Signature Sampler has black, green, white, rooibos, and yerba mate. I haven't tried this particular sampler but I do like Tea Spot.
Capital Teas has a bunch of samplers but they're sets of three 2oz tins, so not quite as diverse. They make a lot of great tea though.
Okay based on that I'm going to suggest a few things you could add to your wish list. I promise I won't be offended if you don't like them, but you might find something you're interested in. :)
Tea things:
First for cute tea things, I highly recommend the flowering tea pot I received it as an Arbitrary Day gift and it's awesome. The teas are delicious and most importantly, to me, the tea pot is sooo cute.
Mana Tea infuser a lot of people have this on their wish lists. I should add it to mine too.
Tea Sampler There are several samplers with different types of tea from this company and a bunch of others. You should look around for sure.
Hello Kitty Stuff:
Add on Hello Kitty alarm clock
This Hello Kitty toy It's adorable.
Mug
Ceramic travel mug
History related:
Hitler Youth This looks like it would be a fascinating read.
The Roads of the Roma: A PEN Anthology of Gypsy Writers
Gypsies Under the Swastika
The Rape Of Nanking: The Forgotten Holocaust Of World War II
Slavery by Another Name: The Re-Enslavement of Black Americans from the Civil War to World War II
I [24/F, sufferer for 12 yrs] highly recommend Zofran (ondansetron). I like this medication specifically because it works really quickly - it takes maybe 10min tops for the nausea to subside after I take it. I gave one to a friend on a roadtrip who was having horrible carsickness and she felt completely fine within 5-10 minutes. I also use this ginger crystal tea regularly and it works wonders. Be warned, though, its VERY strong, but watering it down to make the taste less intense really isn't as effective for nausea IMO. I definitely recommend using the amount of water that it says to on the directions. I personally love the taste/strength of this tea and often drink it just because I like it (so does my mom), but both of us are huge fans of ginger in general. My boyfriend, on the other hand, can't stand how this tea tastes. So, if you like ginger or can stand to drink it even if you don't particularly love it, it really does help. I originally discovered it when I had the flu and my nausea was absolutely HORRIBLE, I was finally able to sleep after a few nights of tossing and turning with stomach pain/nausea after drinking this tea, it was a miracle.
Try tea. There are TONS of flavors to try. I'm becoming addicted to it myself. There is a good deal on amazon where you get a bunch of different flavors of tea for like $15. That one is just Stash brand, but I like it the best out of the two I have gotten. Some are caffeine free, but the others have it in there. It's a good deal to figure out what flavors you might like and then you can order the ones you like online in full packs.
Hello, fellow Yorkshire Tea drinker!
I've found that most expat shops do stock Yorkshire tea, but all of them at truly exorbitant prices (usually more expensive than ordering from the UK or getting friends to send it over).
If you're determined, I recommend this bag from Amazon: 3kg / 1200 teabags for £25. Total including delivery came to £25.50, which means it's cheaper per bag than in Tesco.
The teabags are the same as normal, but be aware than 1200 is more than you think: plan on somewhere to store them, preferably airtight, for the year it'll take you to drink them all!
Good luck!
Throat coat tea!!! https://www.amazon.com/Traditional-Medicinals-Organic-Throat-Seasonal/dp/B0009F3POO?th=1 Comes in regular or lemon - both are awesome. The lemon one covers up the faint licorice flavor that shows up in the plain one.

And the longer you let it steep, the more you notice a very subtle sweetness - I think from the licorice root... No carbs, super effective, and good either hot or iced.

Hope you feel better soon!!
My absolute favorite rose tea is the Signature rose tea from Huntington Gardens in California, which luckily you can buy online. They also have a white rose tea. Some close runners up include Lupicia Momoko tea (green tea with rose petals & sugar) and Pukka Womankind, which is rose and some other flavors, and Yogi Skin Detox rose hibiscus tea. I usually also have some other kind or kinds of rose tea on hand to try, but few of them are winners.
Drinking and sheet masking is a great way to destress. Enjoy!

Based on your list of Constant Comment products (Constant Comment original is fabulous!), it sounds like you're using teabags. So when we say "How much leaf to how much water", we're talking about the amount of tea leaves in the tea bag. So lets talk about whether you're using teacups (which usually contain 4-6 oz of liquid) or whether you're using mugs (which can range between 10-18 oz of liquid.) So if your current method gives you results that taste like flavored water, then lets add more teabags. Constant Comment instructions per the Bigelow website currently recommend 12 oz water per teabag. Please take this as a general guideline and add another teabag to make it stronger if you want. Maybe use 3 teabags. Give it a try and see how it goes.
I'm also going to second /u/LittleRoundFox and recommend Yorkshire and Yorkshire Gold tea. Its a heart English black tea that brews up very strong. I love it and will happily drink it with tea and sugar. I'll brew up 40 oz of the stuff in a stainless steal thermos and that'll last me thru 4 hours of studying. If you can't find it around you, you can order it from Amazon, and if you feel $4 or $5 is more than you want to pay for a box, then if you live in the US, DM me your address and I'll mail you sample.
In a few cases, tea can be an acquired taste. It used to be, I had to have sugar in my coffee and tea ALL THE TIME. then I did a diet change to cut the vast majority of sugar from my diet and then I could start tasting all the stuff that the sugar used to cover up. I'll still use sugar when I drink black tea, and Starbucks coffee ('cuz they burn their beans), but high-end chinese tea is delicious without sugar. Your Mileage May Vary, however.

I had such a cuter post before, but for some reason mobile isn't always posting my comments. I hope you have fun on my wish lists, I think you will find some things you like!
Probably 'black tea'.
Look for 'English Breakfast' or 'Irish breakfast' tea or if they have a British foods section in the supermarket look for "Yorkshire Tea" or "PG Tips".
Or order this tea from Amazon
This tea on Walmart website is probably the same kind of thing but I can't say for sure, it might be totally different.
Rooibos tea from South Africa is a good alternative too I find, it's not actually tea but is a substitute and has a similarly strong flavour to strong breakfast tea and goes well with milk and sugar, it has no caffeine.
Can't say that steak is what I'd normally associate with tea, more stuff like cakes and cookies or just on it's own.
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B001E5E10A/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_kHaUCbX96QSJ8
you’ll never catch me without a pitcher of it in my fridge—i drink all two gallons in a week, sometimes two. it’s great for working out and hangovers, helps me stay away from sugary beverages, and i actually started drinking it instead of coffee and have felt 10x better since making that change. and now i’ve found a fun way to incorporate it into my adult beverages 😈
My go-to thank you gift is a nice set of teas and a thoughtful mug to go with it. I brought this set for my boyfriend's parents, along with one of the starbucks mugs that has the state I live in painted on it. They loved it!
You can get a bunch of huge sampler packs on amazon for pretty reasonable: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B010TYDF7G/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_ocGYAbREA5T6F Stash is my favorite too! That licorice flavor is the best.
I live in Germany too, and I bought a 1.5 kg bag of Yorkshire Tea on amazon.de last year for about 18 euros. At 600 one-cup teabags, it came out to 3 cents per teabag. The average prices in the UK are a bit lower (like maybe 2 cents per teabag), so maybe you could order from a seller at Amazon UK, but if you factor in shipping to Germany, it probably comes out to about the same...
For reference, I ordered this last year, and the company sent me this. The one-cup teabags look and taste the same as the standard ones, I found. But I wouldn't recommend ordering one of the big bags for more than 20 euros, because yeah, then it is definitely not a reasonable price.
Edit: Here we go! It seems like this seller ships to Germany for about 5 pounds. So 15 GBP for 480 teabags...you'd be saving a couple of euros, at least. :)
Right now I have this assortment of teas, and a box of Stash earl grey. I really need more tea, and am considering trying a green tea powder but am completely lost on how to find a good one.
I usually take it hot and sweet (approx. 2 lumps/teaspoons of sugar), but if the weather is super hot and I am not too lazy to go downstairs for ice, I will make iced tea.
Happy Halloween! Thanks for the contest! I would love this tea!
Maybe make your own black tea at home and add lemon juice? You can add sweeteners if you like. Skinny/sugar free syrups are good in coffee/tea too! Tazo Dessert Delights Tea
tazo tea has lemon loaf, vanilla macaron and butterscotch Blondie flavors too!
You might want to try something lighter, like a scented white tea. I enjoy this one from Rishi, Silver Needle Jasmine White Tea.
If you want something a little sweet but sugar free, Sportea Iced Tea might be your bag. This is what I use to hook people on tea. I just throw a bag in a bottle of water and chuck it into the fridge before I go to bed...delicious tea in the morning!
Side-note: Tea bags are mostly made from "fannings" which is a lower grade of tea; that doesn't mean all fannings are horrible. Get yourself a decent infuser and try some good quality loose leaf teas. If you need further recommendations, PM me and I will be glad to help!
You know, I don’t know why I never thought to get one before. I have been making hot tea a lot because we ended up buying some local honey recently, and it’s amazing. The lady who sold it said her farm has a lot of peaches, and I swear this is the best tasting honey I’ve ever had. I ordered this tea to make with it, and I add a little heavy cream.
Right now I have just been boiling water in a pot to make it. So this would absolutely get used. Thanks for the contest!
I've been sick for the past 8 days, and had a sore throat for the first 5 or so.

I've been 100% keto throughout the holidays, and didn't want a stupid cold to knock me out of ketosis. So I've been drinking hot toddys, and they are a game changer.

You can put just about anything you want in them. But I have a Holiday Spice tea. (Or, I've also combined a tea bag of Holiday Spice with a tea bag of Throat Coat, and I liked that combination even better). While the tea is steeping, I simmer some sugar substitute with fresh ginger, lemon juice, orange peel, peppermint extract, and a cinnamon stick. I strain the sugar to remove the solids, and combine it with the tea. Then add a nice shot of whiskey.

I've never had anything help with a sore throat so much! I've read that the alcohol actually kills bacteria in the back of your throat. Don't know if that's true, but I would take one sip of the toddy and my sore throat would be just gone for the next 5-10 minutes. I wish I had known about hot toddys before I started keto, because I would've used them back then too.

Hope you feel better real soon!
I add this tea mixture to water (1 cup of tea mixture to 4 cups of water, plus 3/4 cup sugar if you like it sweeter) in a French press. Let it steep for 30-60 minutes (the longer you let it steep, the stronger the flavor). I "press" out the tea leaves, then put the mixture in the fridge to let it cool. Add half & half (or basically any kind of milk you want--coconut milk is also good) until it's the color you want. Delicious and saves me lots of money to make it at home!

Twinings gold label (black box) English Breakfast or 1706 Strong (linky http://amzn.to/28SXpGl) imported from the UK. It is malty and less brisk than the American (or red box) version. I take it milky but strong with no sweetener. Here's how I brew the perfect pot: http://gailcarriger.com/2012/05/21/how-to-make-proper-pot-of-tea/
For my thai tea I use this https://www.amazon.com/Thai-Iced-Traditional-Restaurant-Style/dp/B00NJS4S6C/ref=sr_1_1_s_it?s=grocery&ie=UTF8&qid=1495113730&sr=1-1&keywords=thai+tea
No need for the evaporated milk, I just brew then pour over ice. Top with HWC and a liquid sugar free sweetener. One cup will come out to be 4.5 grams of net carb. Could be less depending on how much tea you brew. :) In my opinion this tea taste much better than black tea.
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001R3BQNY/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1
3/4 of the flavors are pretty damn good and the other is average, so overall its pretty nice.
Are you insisting on Red Bull? I recently started drinking 4c energy, which is a powder that you mix with water (It's cheap with many of the same ingredients). My work keeps free bottles of water for us in the fridge so that comes easy.
I had the same question as you and could not find any cheap energy drinks unfortunately. I'm curious to see if anyone else has answers.
https://www.amazon.com/4C-Totally-Variety-Energy-18-Count/dp/B001R3BQNY
recipe: I'm using this tea (although I got it from World Market for a bit less than on Amazon). Brew it in boiling water so the tea is quite strong - the ice will dilute it later. I usually brew for 3-4 minutes. Add ice (I have to add a whole tray's worth of ice cubes), a splash of half-and-half, and your keto sweetener of choice (I use two packets of Splenda). Quick, easy, and delicious!
Haven't found keto-friendly boba yet, though. :(
This one is for $4, but it's an add-on. This is a pretty good deal too.
I buy this 2 pack from Amazon all the time. Good price and great tea https://www.amazon.com/Thai-Iced-Traditional-Restaurant-Style/dp/B00NJS4S6C/ref=pd_sim_325_4?_encoding=UTF8&pd_rd_i=B00NJS4S6C&pd_rd_r=K0JZZPA87DJVCRDSEE61&pd_rd_w=IY2jW&pd_rd_wg=oQvFf&psc=1&refRID=K0JZZPA87DJVCRDSEE61
I don't know about the same effect, but this (http://www.amazon.com/Cruz-Malta-Kilo-Yerba-Mate/dp/B001UO90BA/ref=sr_1_33?s=grocery&ie=UTF8&qid=1422202348&sr=1-33&keywords=yerba+mate) gave me some crazy energy when I brewed it like coffee. I just treated as if it was regular auto-drip ground coffee. The energy "jump" took a while to kick in but once it did, it was very noticeable and lasted a long time. You need to drink it early in the morning (8 am?) so that you get a boost around 10am. But that boost lasts all day long. I eventually had to stop drinking it because I read that prolonged drinking of mate tea might be related to esophageal cancer, and I didn't want to chance it. But you should try it at least once. They drink it all the time in Argentina.
Marks and sparks' own brand. I keep the English breakfast as a supply at home. I don't drink tea, but other Brits seem to agree it's good enough.
If not, there's the expat shops if you visit the Hague. Kelly's is the one I use. Everything has a premium though.
Amazon always has stuff

If you can tolerate ginger, the Asian grocers have a great ginger tea, which I live on when I get a cold.
You can also just buy ginger root and brew your own. Easier to control known ingredients.
omg that must've been torture. Is it this? Seems really good, I appreciate the recommendation, you probably just saved me lol

A bunch of these tea samplers are sold on Amazon and eBay. As for the price, it looks reasonable, I got a hot cocoa sampler awhile back that was already $21+ Hope this helps.
As for DL, I don't remember it ever closing at 8pm in March, mostly 9pm. DCA on the other hand mostly closes at 8pm.
Do you do it in water or something carbonated? Sounds amazing.
I think this is it but it has 3 flavors. Any idea which tastes like red bull? http://www.amazon.com/Totally-Light-Variety-Energy-18-Count/dp/B001R3BQNY
Yorkshire Tea. It is the BEST.
Not quite the same, but Disney makes some Wonderland-themed tea that has a blueberry flavor in it. I admit I was a tiny bit skeptical, but the teas were all delicious.

I am assuming that you're trying to make the Thai iced tea served in restaurants and bubble tea shops? If so, this mix is what you're looking for :3 It's already got the tea and spices mixed in. In trying to find a recipe online to make my own blend, this brand came up over and over, and I have to admit, it really does taste exactly the same. I've since found it in several different Asian markets, so if you have one locally, you may want to try there first. It takes a fairly high tea to water ratio, because it needs to be very strong, and you will need to get a can of sweetened condensed milk to pour in after it's chilled.
Wrong tea....you want this stuff... https://www.amazon.com/Thai-Iced-Traditional-Restaurant-Style/dp/B00NJS4S6C/ref=sr_1_4_s_it?s=grocery&ie=UTF8&qid=1518150342&sr=1-4&keywords=thai+tea
The recipe is on the bag, but I recommend brewing/slow simmering it for like 2 hours.
All you need is that special thai tea mix..
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00NJS4S6C/ref=cm_sw_em_r_mt_dp_U_nOHMDbKWQMEWQ
I made it once upon a time.. I believe with stevia.. and kept it simple by just adding heavy whipping cream. had a really nasty taste. IMO your best bet would be using something like allulose maybe
You're right, not sure why you're getting downvoted. AmantisAsoko literally just copied what Wikipedia says which it clearly says may include (which most of the time it doesn't).
I drink Thai Tea all the time. It's extremely easy. I usually get Police Dog brand (what's available at my local asian grocery stores) and add in condensed milk and ice. This is what every Thai restaurant I've ever been to does and what most Thai recipes will tell you.

This is a good one..
And you'll need one of these too.
You don't need a gourd unless you really just want one. I use a regular coffee mug.
I keep seeing people referring to drinking red raspberry leaf tea and it helping regulate their cycles so maybe you can give it a try?
Edit: Here's some just recommended to me
Last time I had a cough, I found two things that worked wonders for me. Thoat Coat tea, and letting a piece of chocolate melt on my tongue as I fell asleep at night. At some point your cough becomes sort of a spasm, rather than a productive necessity, and the chocolate kind of soothes it long enough for me to fall asleep. Feel better!
Do what I did.

I can't think of a single decision I've made in my life that was better than that one.
Yah Thai tea is a star anise tea. It's definitely not the same. It's this:
https://www.amazon.com/Thai-Iced-Traditional-Restaurant-Style/dp/B00NJS4S6C/ref=sr_1_1_a_it?ie=UTF8&qid=1497281205&sr=8-1&keywords=thai+tea
That's even the same brand the vast majority of restaurants use.
It's Yogi Soothing Rose Hibiscus! How is the vanilla cinnamon version?
FYI, this is the brand that a lot of restaurants use, and then add evaporated milk. Be sure to get a "tea sock" or you'll end up with leaves in your finished tea, no matter how many times you strain it.
Amazon? I'd also bet on your local health food/specialty store, or maybe even some places that sell natural remedies and supplements and that sort of stuff. You may also find it in either the health food or tea section of your local grocery store.
Would this be different with different coffees, perhaps? Certainly here in the UK we have different blends of tea marketed as being for different water areas to some extent - see e.g. https://www.amazon.co.uk/Yorkshire-Tea-Hard-Water-Bags/dp/B007EDY142 or https://www.amazon.co.uk/Yorkshire-Tea-Traditional-1200-Bags/dp/B004QPHXL4 (for instance)

This is the brand I use, the whole bag makes 4ish gallons and takes about 4-8 hours depending on how strong you want it. I just use a large stock pot and stir it every 20 min or so but there is a mesg holder you can get for the tea if you aren't going to be around to stir it e enough
I got mine at Publix, but Tazo has a store locator on their website.

Here it is.
i got this kind in the 6 box package.
En un supermercado latino. se llama Casa Latina.
e: si no hay un mercado latino cerca de voz, usá Amazon.
Weird, I'll just repost:
I use this mix and start from this base amount and double/triple/quadruple the amount for larger batches:
Boil water, add sugar and tea mix. Let it boil for 3-5 mins then turn off the stove and steep for 30 mins. Strain and store. I do 8oz tea + ice + 2-4 tablespoons of half & half per serving, depending on preference.
I used a regular strainer but there's a finer amount of stuff that pass through so I strain it again using a finer strainer. They sell thai tea strainers on amazon if you prefer that.
Why stop at 100?
