If you're going to be changing your own tires get yourself the No-Mar YellowThing Tire Tool(or something similar, like a BeadBuddy, depending on what type of tires you'll be changing). It makes changing tires by yourself way easier, its like having a third hand. Also get a tub of this stuff. You can mix it with water to turn it into a super lube spray and you can just goop it onto the rim in paste form. When I was using soap and water to spoon on my tires I would have to pump the tire up to about 60-70PSI two or three times to seat the bead completely(I did probably about 15 tire changes like that), with this shit on there I only had to go to 30PSI and both beads were seated. It's magic, plus is washes away with water. I also keep these on my non street bikes to make removing the valve core easier and more convenient, plus someone is always asking for a core remover, and you can just give them one of these to keep.

Lastly, since that is just a bead breaker not a tire changer, make sure you get some nice high quality spoons/irons and if you're new at changing tires get some rim protectors if you care about how your rims look. I've never used a mojolever, I just use spoons.

With some practice you can remove a tire and spoon on a new one in a few minutes.

Here's most of the nugets of advice I typed up for a co-worker friend of mine who's expecting his Tesla soon.

• Prior to your delivery day, download and install the Tesla app to your phone from the app store. It won’t let you sign-in until delivery day, but it’s good to have this working then. Your phone is the also a key to get into the car. The delivery specialist person will help you set it up.
  
  
• As a key, the phone app works at about, 99% reliability. About 1 out of a hundred times, you have to open the door with the card key. Always keep your card key on you as you would with a regular key – because you never know when the phone isn’t going to open the door. Also, never leave your phone in the car for obvious reasons (workaround: pin to drive for extra security).
  
  
• Get your Chargepoint account setup. They’ll mail you a little rfid credit card thing that you can keep in the car that you can use to tap sign-in to the charging station. The Chargepoint app on your phone can also be used to log into the charging stations.
  
  
• Also get the Plugshare app as well.
  
  
• Accessorize – with some of the stuff here. I have the portable air compressor pump and the tire repair kit in the trunk of my car. Model 3 does not have a spare tire.
  
  
• Also, order the Nema 14-50 adapter for the mobile charger. Tesla, as I understand it, doesn’t provide this cable with the car anymore, only the standard socket port cable. Although I hear some folks say if you ask your delivery specialist prior to pickup, they will give you one. The 14-50 is the “4 prong dryer outlet” socket and the 6-50 is the “3-prong” version. Having both in your car would be useful for parking at friends houses who have such a socket in their garage.
  
  
• And finally, get these.

It sounds like a "spin-cap", or anti-theft locking tire valve cap might help. They lock on so the cap can't be removed to deflate the tire. They seem to be pretty cheap, as per these links;

I would go to a local auto parts store like an AutoZone and ask them what's a good one. Also, you can see if they'll help you put them on, if necessary. And, if you get them, make sure you don't loose the key.

Rubber non TPMS valve stems are fairly uniform across the board from automotive wheels to hand dolly wheels. If the rubber valve stem isn’t sealing properly and it’s a aftermarket wheel then I would say it’s safe to assume the valve stem hole has been bored out.

How many wheels are leaking, and for %100 sure it’s the valve stem to wheel mating area leaking and not the wheel bead?

Edit: just read your old posts and did some digging. Your wheels won’t fit the standard rubber valves stems, they do but they don’t. You need another flush mount kit to go back into the original holes. They should seal on their own with the rubber gasket supplied, if not then you can try some bead sealer also in Conjunction with the rubber washer on the valve stem base.

I have a Boxster S with Antera rims, but I can't find an adapter to fill a flat tire with the flush-mount valve stem.

I've already purchased and tried this from Gorilla (www.amazon.com/Gorilla-Automotive-VS406C-Flush-Mount/dp/B000CMJ3L8), but the filler tube is too big to fit these rims. I've contacted Antera, but no response from them yet either.

They are great. Especially when your tires are fine but your TPMS light goes on, you immediately know it's the sensor and not your tires.

Never buy those Pressure valve caps for tires. They are a safety hazard. Debris can crack them, and then the deflation is rapid.

Knew I should have sprung the extra $30 for a Lezyne when I got this JoeBlow!

I'll order that flex hose and see if it threads into my JoeBlow. I'm not too optimistic.

Amazon has them or almost any auto parts store.

Basically the stem is part of the TPMS and if the cap rusts on and is no longer removable from the stem, you need a new TPMS. Unfortunately as cool as they look, you can't use metal caps. Heres a link to some on Amazon. Look at the comments. People have had to spend $400+ for new stems and sensors.
